I've not explored this area so was pleasantly surprised to see more then a convenience store. The place has ample parking and clear signage. Meet our group outside and were escorted to our table quickly. We were set up in a back room with a table set up for the 12 of us. Once all settled in our drink order was taken and specials explained. Lots a talking and catching up. Drinks arrived in a timely manner and then food orders given. I ordered the Fish tacos with a salad instead of fries. Hubby has the bacon cheese burger, and son had shrimp scampi and Bang Bang Shrimp. Food came out hot and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. No room for dessert so we finished our food, got to-go boxes and out to the fire pit area for continued conversations. Definitely enjoyed our time here and would come back if invited again.

It is always refreshing when the chef will adjust fried to grilled. Forester's is a typical small-town pub. It was busy, but our server, Emmett was attentive and kind. It was a beautiful Saturday evening sitting outside, seeing an old friend.

The staff was perfect, lovely owner always makes the rounds and the porch provides a lakeside view. Every dish was delicious and well plated. Dietary preferences are followed. Course after course we were absolutely blown away by the skill and wizardry of the chefs. The portions were generous! Our service was equally as outstanding (shout out to waitress Emily and bartender Richard!) and we observed the owner coming out and chatting with all of the tables. The staff genuinely seem happy to be here and are not only kind to guests but kind to each other! Do not let the lack of website fool you- this restaurant is cranking out the highest level/quality food I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. I am gluten free and mentioned this when I booked our reservation because I was concerned that I might not have many options with a set menu. Much to my surprise- the kitchen had made accommodations to make EVERY SINGLE ENTREE safe for me to eat. They even made gluten free pop overs in place of the complimentary bread course. I couldn't believe it . Every plate is an actual work of art and the taste is like nothing I've ever experienced. This place is an absolute gem and I can very easily see why the owner has been nominated and won awards.

Yeah, no. This place ain't for me, that's for sure. I never really leave reviews anywhere but this…read moreplace was a whole new experience for me. We had ordered the "Ruby's Signature Sampler" but nothing came like it should have. The Tomato Soup tasted like anything but tomato, the cooks somehow screwed up and put sugar on the tortilla chips instead of salt, and the chicken and mozzarella sticks lack flavor. The Honey Mustard we had ordered was much more watery than It needed to be. They had also given us way too little of the Spinach Artichoke dip for the amount of chips we had gotten. Not to mention, the dip tasted awful. First experiences normally mean the most to a customer, and having this as my own makes me think I never want to order from here again.

Online order Bacon Cheeseburger and french fries…read more I had not eaten all day was starving, been up here now 4 years have never eaten at Ruby's figured I'd given it a try. I mean how can you screw up a Cheeseburger right? Was instructed to pick up order at a certain time, was there exactly ontime, restaurant was fairly empty. Had to wait 15 additional minutes for takeout. When handed the bag of take out it was light as a feather, walked into the empty deserted Presque Island mall found a seat and opened up the bag. There was my little cheeseburger packed in some greasy paper next to a very small portion of fries, were talking like half you'd get for a small at any fast food drive through. The "bacon cheeseburger" bun was stale, the burger dry, the cheese ....what cheese lol...maybe a little squirt of fake cheese sauce, the bacon...burnt and barely any at all like it was ashamed to be in that mess, tomato sliced so thin and onion well it made an appearance was not fresh. The "fries" were lukewarm, mushy, and like hardly any there. So that's what it's like to live in Presque Island Maine, the food up here is horrendous even by Presque Island super bad standards, Ruby Tuesday's Not sure how they stay in business, obviously I didn't get the memo (or resd Yelp) about others dining experienc. I won't be frequenting this place again, very expensive...almost 20 bucks...had to wait in an empty restaurant while my old food sat and grew colder. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money, this place is the pits.
