This place has gone from great to disgusting and unsafe over the past couple of years. Management…read morehas turned over a couple of times since then and teacher staff is now a revolving door. We just pulled our daughter out of there because they aren't even pretending to apply a curriculum for pre-k. They're babysitters, now, and not even very good ones at that. Most recently, we found soiled clothing stuffed into her backpack with her other clothing, sheet, and blanket. Not in a bag, just right into her backpack which now is soaked with urine. My four-year-old doesn't often have accidents, but good lord, what lazy, thoughtless person thought this was ok? During the pandemic, staff was supposed to be masked. Almost daily, either on dropoff or pickup, there were staff seen in classrooms or in the office (the part parents and kids walk though) either completely without a mask or the mask pulled down. Every time I brought it up, I was told that they'd "mention it in a staff meeting" or confirm that yes, it is their policy for staff to mask up. Regardless of your views on masking, the fact that they just didn't enforce their own policies that are supposed to be in place for safety, is unacceptable. The owner, Tom, also spread misinformation during the pandemic regarding masks and other preventive measures via signage posted at the center and at the summer camp location. This place started going down hill quickly when the director (a couple of directors ago, I think) left. Andrea was the last good one, but it was clear that she was being hamstrung from actually doing anything good there. I know it's tough finding a child care center these days, but please, if you have the option, look elsewhere. I'm sure there are other places just as bad or worse, but I no longer trust this place to keep my child safe and certainly not to prepare her for kindergarten. The dozen or teachers who have cycled through that room in the past few months have been uninterested in getting to know the kids, have completely ignored kids who clearly needed attention, were downright mean to kids (witnessed during dropoff on numerous occasions). If you can help it, please trust your children to another center. Also, the five star review that this is updating was written with the promise of a starbucks giftcard. I'm not sure how many other positive reviews are genuine.

OUR SON WAS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR HAVING A SIMPLE NEED TO BE WATCHED WHILE HE ATE…read more If I could give 0 stars I would. My son was on the waitlist for months as the next child to be accepted into the infant room. When we toured this daycare, we spent time communicating our son's eating habits from the start and we were told it wouldn't be a problem and he would be accommodated. My son's eating habits are that he is sensitive to food textures, and he gags. So again, we were told this wouldn't be an issue and that once another child moved to the 1-year-old classroom our son would start. We checked in regularly as they said it would be a couple of months and we didn't mind. We finally got a call from the director (TERESA) saying they were ready to take my son and asked when we would like him to start. We had an appointment at 4:15 p.m. with the director, Teresa, to turn in all the paperwork. When we arrived the director was not there (RED FLAG) and the teacher had no idea who our son was and had no idea he was starting the next day (RED FLAG). The teacher asked us what center our son was starting at. (RED FLAG) We went through all the paperwork and informed the teacher about his eating habits she did not express any concerns. The teacher said everything could be accommodated. A little while after I received a call from the director (AT 5:45 PM; remember he was to start the next morning) that they spoke to the NEW OWNERS (It has been taken over by LIL PATRIOTS) and they said they were denying my son because of his "needs" and that they could not accommodate his "needs" and that " We are not staffed properly." I want to specify that my son does not have special needs. He only needs to be watched while he eats, which you would hope they would be watching your child eat in the infant room. I do not understand what "needs" they think he needs accommodating. To this day the director has yet to lay eyes on my son to even make this kind of decision. CLEARLY, they lack communication with their staff and potential clients. NEW OWNERS are not off to a good start.
