The staff and facility is great. My daughter enjoyed going to the daycare and interacting with the children and staff.

My family has attended Camporee (summer family camp) for 4 years, Fall Fest (autumn family camp) for 1 year, and my older child has attended Yelm Day Camp for 2 years. We have also participated in numerous day events that get the clubs together - all well organized and exciting. All the staff and volunteers are kind, respectful, compassionate, and FUN. I highly recommend Camp Fire in general, and especially our local council - Camp Fire Orca.

Chris has told everyone that he can get your daughter a scholarship. They just want your money.Your daughter will be considered a "cash-cow" to them. If you are on their regional beach team, DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY - that's a joke. Yes, Christy will smile all day and tell you how awesome your daughter is, etc, and swipe your card. Its a hard sell to parents that are just trying to do their best for their kid and are easily deceived & boy do they lay it on THICK. Next is the whole "Ohana" or 'family' bs they try to sell. I don't care what they say, there is no Ohana or team feel here. Girls/parents screw each other over all the time - its literally a pit of viper parents. Really, its bad - the worst club experience x 100 - because you have to schedule your own partners (NO, they do not help or pay) and schedule your own games - with other moms, complete with ego's & rampant backstabbing that Dakine is aware of but does nothing to step in. Its not much better on the Elite travel team. Fork over $3k for the summer & winter - and if you are not part of the ~10 favored Chris crew - you are just a funding source for them. Know this going in, they WILL treat you and your daughter poorly. They WILL NOT help you with partners to play with. You WILL get lots of smiles and BS, until you figure out (like most of us) you were completely duped. They completely lull you into a sense of security that they will take care of you. THEY DO NOT. And btw, most parents on Elite detest Chris, but have to pander to his narcissistic BS to get attention for their kids. Its pretty pathetic. Just know, there are other orgs out there to consider, before getting sucked in. Just remember he is selling the same lines to every fresh faced girl and mom/dad who walk in there! They depend on the old saying "a sucker born every minute".

This place has gone from great to disgusting and unsafe over the past couple of years. Management…read morehas turned over a couple of times since then and teacher staff is now a revolving door. We just pulled our daughter out of there because they aren't even pretending to apply a curriculum for pre-k. They're babysitters, now, and not even very good ones at that. Most recently, we found soiled clothing stuffed into her backpack with her other clothing, sheet, and blanket. Not in a bag, just right into her backpack which now is soaked with urine. My four-year-old doesn't often have accidents, but good lord, what lazy, thoughtless person thought this was ok? During the pandemic, staff was supposed to be masked. Almost daily, either on dropoff or pickup, there were staff seen in classrooms or in the office (the part parents and kids walk though) either completely without a mask or the mask pulled down. Every time I brought it up, I was told that they'd "mention it in a staff meeting" or confirm that yes, it is their policy for staff to mask up. Regardless of your views on masking, the fact that they just didn't enforce their own policies that are supposed to be in place for safety, is unacceptable. The owner, Tom, also spread misinformation during the pandemic regarding masks and other preventive measures via signage posted at the center and at the summer camp location. This place started going down hill quickly when the director (a couple of directors ago, I think) left. Andrea was the last good one, but it was clear that she was being hamstrung from actually doing anything good there. I know it's tough finding a child care center these days, but please, if you have the option, look elsewhere. I'm sure there are other places just as bad or worse, but I no longer trust this place to keep my child safe and certainly not to prepare her for kindergarten. The dozen or teachers who have cycled through that room in the past few months have been uninterested in getting to know the kids, have completely ignored kids who clearly needed attention, were downright mean to kids (witnessed during dropoff on numerous occasions). If you can help it, please trust your children to another center. Also, the five star review that this is updating was written with the promise of a starbucks giftcard. I'm not sure how many other positive reviews are genuine.

Take a look at the "Tigers" organization record and AT baseball "vision" to see for yourself. This is not competitive baseball, this is a rec league that you could pay a $100 for. Glad we didn't have to pay, but everyone else is getting ripped off! His trainers also did not work on pitching at ALL during the season until the very last month, leaving our team struggling pitching wise (heard of others as well). The trainers that he hires, are great with the kids, which is why I'm OK with giving it ONE star, other than that, his program for "select" teams suck. Go somewhere else. Every time it's removed, I will add more information, including pictures of what Aaron said himself was his "vision" to prove my above statement. Edited to add: Owner is now threatening lawsuit. Will provide and post picture of letter when/if we get it. Here is how Yelp feels about that. http://www.yelp.com/faq#involving_lawyers

The training was minimal with about 30% of it just doing calisthenics and hardly any one on one time with the trainers. No improvement after months of training. And practice times were horrible (3:30 pm on Saturday)??? My son went in loving baseball more than anything and wanted out because it was absolutely no fun and was having an awful time. When i brought this to their attention i was just told that it was just my kid that the program wasn't working for. He was just not a good fit. YIKES! Do not join this program.
