This is my experience purchasing the Sunny Sunflower Deluxe arrangement from Provo Florist, which uses deceptive practices in their ordering process. Only after you've invested time filling out all the information and you're at the last step of the checkout process, are the hidden fees finally disclosed. Even then, they are still hidden and you're required to click on "Order Details" which is in lower case and sandwiched between the SUBTOTAL (uppercase and bold) and the GRANDTOTAL (uppercase and bold). "Order Details" gets lost.The subtotal and grand total show the same price. To be transparent, the subtotal should be the cost of the flowers and the grand total should reflect all charges. They are the same, which makes it seem there are no other charges. The hidden fees: Delivery $9.99 - Even though I selected "Delivery" on one of the first screens and put in the zip code, no charge for this was displayed on the screen. Only the charge for the flowers and tax showed. There are some florists that don't charge for delivery if it's within a certain area. The florist and the recipient are 2.1 miles apart. Since a delivery fee wasn't listed on this screen, I thought this was the case. Teleflora/EFlorist Service Fee of $4.95 - Nowhere in the description does it show the arrangement I selected as aTeleflora product. Others were, but not this one. Once I selected this arrangement, a transparent business would have shown the Eflorist Service fee along with the price of the flowers and taxes in the initial screen. This was never clear until I got a confirmation email, which unfortunately went into my junk email so I didn't see it until much later. This business needs to do better. Clearly, they don't care since they never responded nor changed their practices.

I was seriously blown away. Because of that experience, he ordered from here again for Valentine's Day, requesting another all-white arrangement at the same price point. Unfortunately, the difference in quality and design was extremely disappointing. I completely understand the demand around Valentine's Day but the arrangement I received felt rushed, poorly composed, and nowhere near the level of craftsmanship of the one from our anniversary. Knowing how beautiful their work can be made this especially frustrating. The inconsistency between the two arrangements was surprising. I'm sharing this honestly because the anniversary flowers set such a high standard and I wish the Valentine's Day arrangement had reflected that same care.

We confirmed and they committed. Because of this, we didn't look into other options. My husband has consistently followed-up 3-4 times since they reached out in October so we could see when we'd be on the schedule. Today, I'm sure because of my husband's follow-up, we received an email saying they won't be able to install this year due to staffing issues. I understand staffing issues and they are Christmas lights- not the end of the world- I'm disappointed about the lack of communication and the fact they waited too long to tell us. I'm convinced they only told us because my husband kept reaching out. There is no way I can find someone now that it's the middle of November. I believe in excellent customer service and effective communication- this situation failed in both areas. Super big bummer for us but most importantly- I hope this helps someone else think twice before committing to work with them.
