They had a great variety of flowers and one of the biggest varieties of vegetable plants I've seen at a nursery before. the employees greeted me as I walked in. They look like they are enjoying their job which is always nice to see. The unfortunate part of my visit is a lot of their plants did not look healthy. You can tell they are watering on top of the plant instead of at the roots. You can see a lot of scorch marks on the flowers and the leaves. On the bright side the trees looked very healthy. They also had the beautiful hydrangeas lime light trees/shrub that looked beyond healthy which is rare to see at a nursery. But above all I might stop by once in awhile but I probably won't buy especially because the prices of the plants are so pricey. read more

The worst. I have tried so many times to give this family owned business a chance. I live locally in Lindon and of course the location is convenient. However I will no longer shop there. The service is a joke. Never enough staff and the few who are there sit at the register and do nothing. If you are lucky enough to see someone and ask a question...dont bother. They never know where anything is or any info about lawn or garden care. The product often looks dry...so no one is watering or caring for the trees or plants. Now they have sold out to some developer putting in townhomes and creating a huge traffic mess. What a joke this place has become. I searched several nurseries for the things I wanted, couldn't find them. Linden had them all! Healthy plants, great selection and helpful personnel. The only criticism I have would be that it would be nice to have a few more knowledgeable experts out in the nursery, but other than that I really love this place! read more

This is a wonderful family owned nursery. It's one of my favorite places to come when I just need to look around and feel some peace, ha ha. Seriously, though! I love walking through all of the plants outside, seeing the chicks and bunnies inside, going through the big room of parts, browsing the seed selection, and running into a middle-aged gentleman that may be the owner of the store. I was a new homeowner when I first went in there and was concerned about my soil. He told me I could bring my soil in in just a little bag and he could tell me what it needed. He was so kind and knowledgeable... Like a family member that cared if my home and garden looked OK and was done right. The lady that runs the cash register can sometimes seem a little crabby... But I don't mind those kinds of people. She's serious about what she does and seems to have a lot of knowledge about the business and the plants. It is sometimes hard to find help because they have only a few workers. But they are all very good, hard workers. I bought two very large planters from them and they planted them and helped me load them into a truck. It was over $500 worth of flowers including the price of the pots and planting. Those things grow beautifully for months and months! I love this place and want to see them succeed always. read more

Really this nursery deserves 4.5 stars. Best selection in Utah County. If you have a new yard with nothing on it, this is your nursery. They give discounts to customers that buy plants in bulk. Also they have a fair return policy. If they plant dies within a year, you can bring in your dead plant and receipt and get 50% of the money you spent on that plant towards a new one. They have some of the most knowledgeable personnel in Utah County. If someone doesn't know the answer to your question, they will look it up or find someone that does know the answer. The prices are very comparable to all of the other nurseries. The store is great and they have acres of selection. Sometimes it's a little hard to find the plant you want because they have such a huge selection. They have done a good job trying to fix that by laying it out in a shopper-friendly way. Each year they get better at this. Why not five stars? 1) The gravel is not stroller friendly 2) It can be difficult to find someone to help you on Friday nights and Saturdays. If you want help go on weekdays before school gets out. 3) They go through a lot of plants so they run out sometimes and you have to wait for a new shipment to show up. read more

I went to this place with my wife and looking for some wind break trees. We wandered around the tree area for a bit and didn't see any one. My wife went into the actual store to find a person and the employee acted like my wife was an inconvenience. When an employee came out it was like pulling teeth to get them to provide any kind of input. The person left as soon as they could without making sure we needed anything else. When I decided what trees we wanted. I had to find my own way into the proper area with my vehicle and then had to go to the end to find a turn around spot to get back out. The person who opened the gate for me also acted like I was a major inconvenience. They have a good selection but good luck getting anyone to answer a question or provide any help picking a product or assisting with loading. read more

Nice local nursery. I have purchased several trees and plants. They have a good variety and can special order. They provide good guarantees on their products. Lots or variety with good info on what grows well locally. Also good for buying chicks, ducks, gardening needs and landscape art. They deliver and install trees if desired. read more

I bought some seeds a few weeks ago from Lindon nursery and planted them. There were a few different plants that didn't germinate. I looked back at the package to see if I had done it right and noticed a raised label that said it was packaged for 2018. I peeled it back and the original date was packaged for 2015. So, obviously, they didn't sell the package in 2015, so they relabeled it and sold it in 2018. All three of the plants that didn't grow had been relabeled. All the others grew. If you choose to buy seeds from this store, check the labeling on the back of the package. If there's a raised label with a current packaging year, peel it back to see what year it was really prepared for. It will make a difference when you plant it. I contacted the nursery. I won't give even one star to Linden Nursery but it won't let you. After a 6 week wait they didn't even look at my generator. I asked the manager why he didn't tell me he didn't want to work on it when I brought it in all he did was grin and say it's not his problem. We had the most wonderful wedding reception at the Barn here! Soooooo dang fun. The outdoor dance floor with surrounding pavers and overhanging wooden trellis with lights....all so awesome. And if the weather would have been poor, it would have been just as good inside. Probably the reason we picked the barn in the first place was the room upstairs...full of all sorts of bottles, frames and other decor that guests can use. How cool is that??? These guys, Carol and Adam, are the absolute best to work with. Loved working with them and their ideal venue. read more

Terrible service. The lady who answers the phones is sweet as Pie. Really nice lady. However, that was the end of my pleasant experience with Linden Nursery. I dealt with Ben, he is the guy who gives estimates/bids. He was a full day late for his appt. with us. And he was to create a bid for an insurance quote we needed. He said he would have it ready Monday. He came to our house Friday (was suppose to be there Thursday). Monday comes, no phone call, no email, no nothing. So I call Tuesday, let him know, we have to have the bid before 1pm because the insurance adjustor is coming out at 4pm. He hadn't even started it yet. 3:45pm rolls around and nothing. SERIOUSLY!!! This guy is a joke. Inconsiderate, rude, self involved, and apparently very rich because he certainly doesn't care about keeping business. He caused more problems for us than we already had, as we were counting on him to give us an estimate for the insurance claim. If you want to work with a company that is honest, considerate, etc, then DO NOT USE LINDEN NURSERY. Ben is a real joke. read more

A year ago Heather and Liesle helped us with a considerable re-design of our yard. They were terrific to work with -- knowledgeable, friendly, professional. We had a vision that they were able to translate into an action plan and were very flexible at incorporating existing perennials we wanted to harvest as well as suggested shrubs and trees that would provide great structural bones. Now a year later we are delighted every day to see how it grows and changes and evolves. The plant quality is top notch at Linden Nursery and they are very helpful with questions and suggestions when you visit the nursery. They also have a good selection of hardscape and decorative items.I have recommended LInden Nursery to several neighbors who have also been very happy with the services provided by the folks there. And yes-- the chicks and the ducklings are a bonus for me--a must see when I visit even though I am not an urban egg gatherer! read more
