We came away with a ton of pumpkins for only $27. I don't have a porch (I live in a condo), but when I do, my porch will be overtaken by Mabey pumpkins. Next year we'll have a little 6 month old to take to the pumpkin patch, and you'd better believe I am pumped for those photo ops. For this year, it was a super fun date night. They have 14 acres of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, with small ones pulled aside into big bins you can pick out of. Grab a barrel and walk around with it, because you'll end up with more than what you thought you wanted (I can't be the only one who thinks pumpkins are so cute!). My husband being the chatty person he is struck up a conversation with the owner, who is a fourth generation farmer. He was so friendly and kind, and it made me feel happy to support a local business. I highly recommend bringing some kind of gloves or protection for your hands. Pumpkin stems are prickly! I also don't recommend wearing your cute fashion boots since you sometimes need to walk into the patch to take a look at a pumpkin; they'll get dirty. Overall, a super fun date night or family night. I was intrigued because I went to the Haunted Forest last year and the animatronics and sound tracks were not my favorite. The ticket price also seemed well worth it too. I really liked that there were employees taking pictures for each group with the sign and then explaining the rules, allowing each group to gain some distance between another. The characters did a great job! Lots of jump scares and they hid pretty well. It wasn't so much a maze, just a path through corn which made it easy to follow when you aren't thinking to straight from fear. The rest of the farm is as expected with all sorts of fall fun! I loved that one of the tractors was made up to look like Frank from the Cars movie from the tractor tipping scene. I do have to say that with the construction on the road it was hard to see in the dark where to pull over and enter. I missed it at first and had to make a U-turn.

They were warm, slightly crispy, and yummy soft of the inside. With the cinnamon sugar on the outside, they didn't last but a few minutes, so get more than the baker's dozen. Personally I feel like the admission price is too much for the experience, but I also understand because they have a lot of animals that need care and food so once again it's understandable. I personally got tickets on Groupon for my friend and I to take our little boys. From online or the outside I really had no clue what we were getting into. I wasn't sure if I should get my stroller out or not, but to be honest it's not really a large space, so I'm glad I didn't end up taking the stroller in. The lady at the front desk was helpful and we scanned out virtual ti key for entry. They have some real animal lovers working and I love that they employ some younger persons who obviously love animals. There was a really pretty multicolored little bird in the front and a hand washing station. I saw a hedgehog, rats, ferrets and fish/frogs at the front. We went past the gate into the same room and there was a pig, two goats, an alpaca, two baby lambs, and a small type of horse. The alpaca and horse were tethered, but the others were free to roam within the room and there were some toys around. The gates (within the same room) have 3 other separated sections, there was a reptile section with turtles, a lizard, I can't remember exactly, but probably a snake. The next section had bunnies, small bunnies and full sized bunnies of a few different breeds, they were very soft, but a little difficult to try to pick up as most of them were hiding under their cages. And the last section had some baby ducks or goslings I couldn't tell, as well as some empty bird cages. It depends on who you go with. I kept trying to pet the baby lambs because I had drove 45 minutes to get there haha. From what I understand, they also have like a traveling petting zoo and you can hire them for parties/events. All in all, the animals seem well taken care of even though there isn't a ton of space. Now that I've been once, I don't think I need to go again, but it could be a fun activity for a local to try.
