There's always something to find here! There's a lot of vintage, secondhand clothing here - and nothing is boring. Think bold colors and patterns, quirky designs, and out-there materials. Statement pieces for sure! There are certainly some staples as far as accessories and footwear goes, too. But much of the accessories are quirky and unique: think doll hands for earrings kind of vibe! There's a decent amount of knick-knacks and giftables here as well, that are more local artisan made or new. The store can feel a bit overwhelming at first entrance, so take it by section and putz with an open mind. Prices were on par with higher-end vintage stores, but they do run some sales a few times each year. There is a dressing room with a curtain for trying things on!

If not, you can find them by the registers. They're for tagging larger items you want to buy. You put the sticker on, and take it's product/price tag to the cashier for check-out. -the store is packed with items and people, which makes moving around not so easy. I don't think it's ideal for walkers, wheelchairs, or strollers. If you have mobility challenges, navigating may be tough. -some items don't have a price tag, like the pillow I bought. I asked the cashier how the price is determined, and was advised they assign what they think is a fair price at check-out. My pillow was valued at $4. -i got there at 10:07am, 7 mins after they opened and there were people everywhere. That said, if you're a serious shopper arrive early to see the goods before the super-early birds snatch it all up. -again, it's filled with stuff; mainly furniture, home decor, dinnerware, kitchen goods, some shoes, books, and I even saw cute scarves and bags. Flying Pig Thrift is staffed primarily by volunteers and everyone is beyond kind. Community resources are available onsite via a bulletin board and the shop supports 3 main non-profit groups. Within the dressing area room, there was a flyer supporting mental health resources and I smiled when I saw it. There are a wide variety of items that shift seasonally and frequently. Items are fairly priced and there are often sales, half price item days and even a permanent sale section in the back. I was really excited to score a denim button up with funky colorful bird designs, a cute yellow bee kind sweatshirt along with a black Nike top.
