When I got there I could tell right away that they were not a consignment shop, all pieces are original and very unique! Prices aren't too shabby either. I have a couple photos attached but I could've spent the day. I'm still trying to figure out what pieces I can't live without but I could spend a fortune! The sales associate was friendly and not overbearing. Check it out if you're looking for some accent pieces, night stands, TV stand, tables, chairs, and bookcases. They have something for everyone: industrial, modern, post-modern, country, Southwest, rustic, anything. Very unique colors, distressed, clean finished. We met Jennifer and learned while working with her that she is super knowledgeable about the makers and qualities of each and every single pieces of furniture we considered! We ended up furnishing our entire new house with the Amish make and other quality furniture we found at Furniture and Things with the fantastic help of Jennifer. Today I visited the new location that opened TODAY 3/3/22 (3006 Texas Ave S, St Louis Park) -- great luck!! There's plenty of parking and the space is laid out beautifully. You can really see all the items and everywhere you turn, there's something new. My mom and I like to frequent this shop to see what's new, and I think we'll come even more now that there's a new location! Be sure to follow the owners Instagram (@retrowanderlust) to keep up with any sales she has or if she has changes to her schedule. I believe she's planning on doing a bit of e-commerce, so that will be fun to see as well! We've bought some dresser drawers from RW before, and today my mom picked up a beautiful large blue tablecloth for only $28. She also bought a concrete candle for $14. I'd say pieces are priced fairly -- sturdy and unique antiques are an investment! That said, I think there's something in this store for any budget, there's a wide range of pricing. The material frayed and pulled away from the seam so I called and worked with the warranty company and they said it was not covered. SERIOUSLY. Why do we have warranties and then Furniture Manor said I could bring my couch in and they would repair it for 175.00. I cannot move my couch in my jeep. Why can't you come out and repair it it is your crappy couch you sold me. The person I did pay to come out to repair it said this will probably happen again because it was loosely stitched and he said this is totally manufacturer defect and not sewn correctly. So I would not recommend anyone buying anything from Furniture Manor and their crappy warranty company. I thought I was helping a small store I will only go to the big box stores from now on.
