She is always in great spirits when I pick her up, and she does not hesitate during the drop-off, which are both good indications that they do what they can to make it a low-stress experience. I highly recommend them! As a side note: they are located near a Safeway, dry cleaner, wine shop, and lunch spots, so there are plenty of things do to (fun or chores) nearby in the hour it takes them to pretty up my girl.

Jen has been grooming my family's two poodles in San Francisco for years now. She's an avid…read moredog-lover and is an almost dog-whisperer level dog enthusiast. Dogs are happy in her extraordinarily capable hands, and they always come out looking fantastic! My two dogs never look better than after they've had a grooming session with her. She is also quite well-versed in canine health; one of our dogs has some stomach problems and the other had a couple of unexpected seizures, and Jen is always doing a quick double-check to make sure they're happy and healthy, oftentimes pointing out things that we may not have noticed or know to look for. I cannot recommend Jen highly enough; my only regret is that she isn't still in California because I don't know if we're ever going to find an acceptable substitute.

She has some great pictures on her website and we used a couple of those to show her what we wanted and then Terri asked us some important questions about our little guy - things we never would of thought to ask but were really important. Jack came home smelling great with a perfect cut and most importantly he was happy! Not stressed or upset, he had energy and you could tell he felt so good and pampered. Jack doesn't like getting his legs brushed or groomed, Terri noticed and still did a great job on his legs and feet. He doesn't particularly like to be put into a kennel when he's done either, like his old groomer use to do and when my husband got there to pick him up, he was sound asleep, laying on the floor next to Terri as she groomed another dog! One of the staff had been through it herself on moving to Bend from PDX. All of her pets developed bladder crystals due to the high level of minerals here in the water. She told me what I would need to do (switch to distilled water) and what supplements to use. My pup is allergic to corn and the vet told me he would have to be on a special corn diet for bladder crystals for the next two months. She found me a food over Chewy that was not corn-based and recommended another food brand that has been a game changer for both of my pups to supplement with until the Chewy order arrived. Fast forward to the 4th of July. I spoke to another knowledgeable staff member about my other dog's anxiety with firewords and she made recommendations that were so effective, we decided to curb his anxiety naturally from now on with the 2 products she gave us samples of. My pup was like a puppy again, playful, cuddling, tender, soft. We appreciate their return policy, too, that allows us to make returns if needed. They have never judged us as we have been honest about pet concerns, which can be emotional.
