Big fan of Mia and what she is trying to do for the community. We have been with her from the time she was just helping out other farms until the new farm was hand built by herself. Loving the new facility and as always Mia's approach to taking care of horses. Quality horse-care at reasonable rate. If you are looking for a good stable, you've found it! All the kids that have taken lessons there have raved about Free Rein Farm. read more

Private Horse Boarding Facility. We do not offer horseback riding. Free Rein Farm is a small, family owned local horse boarding facility - minutes from NYS Thruway Exits 20-21 and just a 5 miles from HITS Saugerties! The farm offers lush pasture, ample turnout and safe shelter from the elements including run-in sheds and matted stalls with fans. For the rider, we offer a wash rack, tack room, and lesson availability.

Coming to Free Rein Farm I had no knowledge of natural horsemanship, but when I started riding and doing groundwork with Mia and her wonderful horses and ponies I learned about a whole new connection. Free Rein Farm is like my second home, everyone is kind and well-meaning. Mia helped me train for a show and a Hunter Pace this summer, and honestly I could not have been in better, safer hands. I would DEFINITELY recommend Free Rein Farm for Boarding, riding lessons, summer camp or whatever it may be. Everything is set in a calm and controlled environment. I am so thankful that I found Mia! read more

Mia is a wonderful trainer and she is an amazing person her horses are amazing and she will also teach you a lot of things you didn't know and I am proud that I have her as a trainer even though I don't go there a lot she is amazing read more
