After my previous lash lady (who l'd been with for five years!) moved back to Hawaii, I was really nervous about finding someone new. I have always wanted to get lash extensions, but I couldn't find any lash tech that had good recommendations. Since my friend suggested her, I figured "why not?" I chose the "hybrid" style, which is both classic & volume. I think the classic style is a bit too simple and the volume style is too much for my taste, but it is entirely up to you. I explained and showed her a picture of what I wanted, which is HELPFUL by the way. Let her know what you want because it will make you & her life easier. Trust me, lol. 9 months later, I'm still going to Justine for my lash extensions! I've also been commuting from San Francisco to San Jose each time-- if that doesn't show how amazing she is at doing my lashes, then I don't know what will. Justine has been friendly, sanitary, professional, and goes above & beyond for her clients!!! She's sweet, kind, and a great listener (I tend to update her about my life because I feel comfortable around her; sorry if I get too excited at times. Haha!) The studio is always clean, calm, and organized, appointments run on time, and the whole experience feels relaxing rather than transactional. Not only is her studio welcoming, she is very pleasant. I workout several days a week and have not had any issues with my lashes falling out prematurely. Linda actually uses a higher quality glue that keeps my lashes in tact even in the harshest of conditions. I recently ran a Spartan race after getting a fill and did not have any lash casualties that were more than the normal fall out. Thought I'd try this place since it's close to where I work and I can come regularly before or after. I was told I had to put down a 50% deposit and if I needed to cancel I need to give a minimum of 24 hours or I'd loose my deposit. Of course, being in managment, I was called in at the last minute to work. At 1st I said to myself "Welp, there goes $40!" Then I said well let me call and try to work something out since I'm a 1st time client, maybe reschedule since I want them done it's just work comes before lashes. I called and they said they'd re-schedule but I'd loose my deposit and expected me to put another deposit down. I gracefully declined and took that $40 as a loss for me and the only gain for them. As opposed to a long term relationship past the $40. My search for a natural lash bar continues.
