a sandwich and potato salad

Went with a friend to check out this new-ish bar in the area and it did not disappoint. Stayed for a couple drinks more than expected and tried the food as well. Their signature items are the paninis and I highly recommend trying the Open Face Memphis Pulled Pork ($9). It was really, really good. All sandwiches come with chips (which were also good). I also ordered the stuff pepper Mac and cheese ($4, cup). Didn't wow me as much as the sandwich, but it was good. Love the staff begins the bar and the atmosphere was very comfy and neighborhood bar feeling, but way less grungy looking, haha

Absolutely wonderful! Came for my birthday with my bestie and had a blast! Mike was nothing short of the best host we could have asked for, he was super accommodating, polite, friendly and good at what he does so two thumbs up especially on the margaritas and that Mac and cheese! We'll be back!

Great sign in the bathroom. While there Josh Allen watched over you.

This bar opened not that long ago on Niagara Street. It is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Not too big, screens with sports on the brick walls, just a nice place to have a beer with friends. The bar has no taps, beer is served in bottle or can. Don't worry you have to drink out of the can, a glass is provided. I did not study it, but there is a small plates menu, so come hungry. Did I mention the bar tender was a very nice, friendly guy?

Doing everything right. Paninis excellent and large variety. Everything in the menu that I saw was under $10. Play the football games on Sundays and Monday's and turn the music down and sound on. No long wait for drinks or food. Amazing wine list actually. And not freezing cold inside. Oh and clean bathrooms and friendly, helpful staff.

This review is loooong overdue since I found myself becoming a regular here. I can't say enough great things about Free Street. The staff is friendly & welcoming, the food is delicious, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The space is small, but it makes for a cozy experience. If you're not in the mood for one of their paninis, they always have something different going on in the crockpot. I have made it a goal to try every panini on the menu, but found myself in love with the Memphis BBQ panini and can't bother to order anything else.

Best bar in America. And Canada. Probably in the world. Great food, great people, great beers, great ambiance.

Josh and Anne are the best! Great cocktails and a cool NYC small bar ambiance. Will be back many times.

Don't waste your time, just another trendy location with below-average food and customer service.

What a very pleasant surprise this place is tucked away on Niagara Street. It is enormous and can…read moreaccommodate huge crowds of people. There are two parking lots so parking was not an issue. There're tables outside, but the patio area is limited, so we sat inside. It is bright, vibrant and had the best vibe! Our server was friendly, professional and helpful. The food was fantastic! I was\nA little skeptical about eating at a micro brewery.Because in my experience , the food is not the main character, the beer is... But here at Britesmith the food room the prize! The portions are generous and the flavor outstanding! The menu is varied and we had a hard time choosing our meals... At one person with us had the Nashville hot chicken.Another person had the bright smith cheese steak and I chose the white pizza... ,we argued about whose meal was better!! I really want to go back because they have a brisket plate that looked so good that I was thinking of ordering it as well as the pizza. We each had half of a meal to take home with us, not because it wasn't delicious , but because it was so generously portioned.

This newer brewery (I say newer because last time we were in Buffalo this was Resurgence brewing,…read morethey have moved to a bigger location) is located right around the corner from Mortalis brewing. Still a nice spot with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. We ordered up three flights of beers so that we could try a few things and for the most part the beers were ok. The food offerings looked fantastic, although we did not eat this time around.

There were only a few other guests during our stay and things began to pickup as we were leaving. In the past, later at night, we've walked by and the place is quite packed. If you like quiet intimacy and a deal on drinks and food happy hour is your golden time here. I almost hate to share this secret tbh. Don't go. Leave this for me haha. The drinks here are all delicious and lovingly made. Really superb cocktails that taste good. The food is pretty good. It is clearly prepared well and presented artfully. I do think that calling a burger, "A quest for heaven" and not having it be super memorable and mind blowingly flavorful is a miss. It's a good burger and I'd eat it again but it's not a craveable item and I hoped with such a small menu it would be amazing. The charcuterie is super generously portioned and the nduja add on is a huge portion of nduja. Get the charcuterie. The crab toast was good and I'd get it again. We want to try baked brie next time. We also tried the pistachio mousse dessert and it was very pretty but lacked a lot of pistachio flavor. A chocolate cup full of unflavored but rich whipped cream and a minuscule amount of pistachio flavored something that was holding the cup to the plate. We were mostly just confused by the name of the dish versus the experience. It was good just not pistachio mousse. We actually wondered if someone accidentally prepared it wrong. We were here for an anniversary and were given free champagne before our meal and offered more at the end which we declined because of all the other lovely drinks we'd had. The service was great, the staff were polite and informed about the menu and drinks and the bartenders made wonderful things. Will be trying Saint Neri again soon.
