This is a great spot for summer! I was visiting friends up in Lewiston for a concert this week and we stopped over here before walking into Artpark. This spot has a great summer vibe with the open air bar and patio. There is plenty of seating and the food menu looked good. Small apps and pub food mostly but everything sounded good. The bar itself is huge. The two bartenders were incredible service-wise and never let drinks run out. Incredible! I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and it was very good! It tasted like it was homemade, not exactly sure on that but I enjoyed it! The mini pizza flatbreads also looked pretty good. Overall, this is a great little summer spot and I can see why my friends come here so much. If I were closer, I'd be here all the time in the summer before concerts or just on a nice night. read more

Visited during the Lewiston Art Festival for lunch. Very very slow service. They had 1 bartender and 1 food server for a packed outside patio. The workers were doing the best they could but they clearly needed more staff. The food was what you would expect from frozen and pre-packaged type foods. The Caesar Salad was okay, nothing special and the dressing was what tasted like Ken's Dressing. The steak quesodilla was decent. All in All, the food was average to below average. The ambiance and decor are good for a friendly lunch, dinner, snacks or just drinks. Lots of seating on the patio and at the bar. Good variety of choices and specials for both drinks and food. The servers are friendly but definitely overwhelmed due to staffing issues. I would have given a higher rating if the food was a little better quality with more homemade options and they had more staff to meet the demand of customers at tables abd the bar. May have been just an off day but I dont think I would return to this place with so many other options available nearby. read more

This was a great experience, Jocelyn was a fantastic bartender and she kept the life of the party going. The food was great and filling. I had the Steak and Cheese sub, recommended by Jocelyn and it was not disappointing. This was a great place to stop at and the atmosphere was great. This is a cool place to just hang out with friends, have a drink or two, and grab a quick bite. They have lots of high top tables around, in the sun, and outside of the sun. Quite a number of different types of wines are available; we tried a rosé from France. Staff is friendly and relatively quick at serving you. They have food her too but I never tried it. We stumbled on this place while on a motorcycle ride to meet friends in Lewiston, NY. I absolutely love the outdoor bar and patio! The bartenders Mike and Gail were amazing! Friendly and attentive and made fan-frickin-tastic drinks! Ok, so the guys drank beer but we gals had cocktails. The cucumber cocktail is soooo refreshing! My friend had the blue moon as well and she loved it. There's plenty of seating outside. We didn't eat here but will most definitely put this on our list of stops when we ride. There was a soccer tournament going on in the area and a team from our home town of Chili walked in! Fun times! The flatbread pizza they had looked so good! I have been going there for years and it is by far my favorite spot in the village. It is a beautiful outdoor bar and they also have a light food menu. The servers are welcoming and the owner is just the sweetest lady I know! They have live music and keep some of the coolest parties .During the summer months you'll find the whole village there but due to the pandemic it is best to call and put in you order ahead of time. Their current hours are Saturday & Sunday 1p-5p. Try their famous slushies, the blue lagoon is my fave with the coconut rum, hhmm you'll be asking for more! read more

Okay so me and my babe (birthday girl) stumbled across this place a day after everything was shut down due to Covid. We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop in after a few failed attempts to eat elsewhere. Forest and foremost, it is super clean! The staff is very, very friendly, warm and welcoming. I'm so mad I forgot our waitresses name. Home girl was such a vibe. Lol. I would come back just to spend all my money with her. Lol She was very sweet, down to earth, and fun. She got us drunk. We ended up trying the spinach dip & wraps. Both was really good. It was my first time having spinach dip. My gf had the chipotle wrap. I had the ranch chicken w/o bacon! Perfectly made. I had no complaints. The only downside is that the menu is really, really limited. It took me a while to order. Lol but it all worked out because my food was really good. And once again, they were VERY clean and sanitized. That gave this germophobe here a piece of mind lol read more

The patio is what caught my eye. It has a huge wrap around stone patio that just screams 'COME DRINK WITH ME', especially in the nice weather. Not a bad wine list, they had quite a few kinds. We ordered drier rosé and enjoyed the outdoor patio. The patio had plenty of high tops and tv;s to keep you entertained. The wait staff was extremely friendly and it was quiet(ish) until around 9:30ish. Once 10pm hit, the place packed in tight. I'm assuming they all came to drink after an Artpark concert or they just really enjoy this place. Who knows. I can't speak to the inside of the restaurant or the food, but from what I saw the portions looked larger and delicious. Will update when I go back! read more

Really cool looking outdoor patio, built for the buffalo summers and nicely decorated. Geared toward the locals. Bartender was polite but focused only on those she knew. Full bar. Option to order food at the bar or at an outdoor window. Food was inexpensive and included burgers, quesadillas and flatbreads. I ordered the veggie flatbread but I wasn't impressed. Canned mushrooms included on a fairly bland flatbread. I will never understand why places include mushroom if it's coming from a can. I would return for a patio drink but go elsewhere for food. read more

This was our first opportunity to go out on a patio after the whole covid-19 situation. The staff were super friendly and personable and were good about utilizing their masks, etc. We sat on the patio which was beautiful and our dog was allowed with us. We each got a slushie drink which were at great prices and were fun and tasty. We also shared a flatbread pizza which was excellent. We came on a Monday evening, so it wasn't very crowded. The weather was pleasant, so we enjoyed our seats on the patio. Our server was very new to the job...but she was so pleasant and friendly! The cocktails were very good! The food was plentiful and tasty, although the menu was a bit limited. The steak and cheese flat bread was our favorite, as well as a chicken bacon ranch flat bread on the specials list. We will be back when we are in town again! read more

WE went during the Peach Festival and Center Street was very busy. This was our first time at the place. The bar is a very fun place on a beautiful day, the service was very good, and the food was excellent we started with the pretzel and beer cheese than ordered the Veggie flatbread. This wine bar is in a great location on Center St. in Lewiston. We sat outside on the patio so I am unable to comment on the inside. The patio is huge and perfect for a nice summer day. Their wine list was decent. I think I expected a little more from some place whose main draw is wine though. They also have a few beers and a standard selection of alcohol. We had a good time relaxing there. After about 2 glasses of wine we decided we wanted something to snack on. Unfortunately all they offer is a cheese plate or a fruit plate. They apparently did not build a kitchen in the establishment. We ordered the cheese plate. Probably the worst cheese plate I've ever had. It had cracker cut cheese on it that you can find in any grocery store aisle. Cheddar, Swiss, Pepper Jack. The crackers were again Keebler brand Toasted crackers which are in every grocery store. It was very disappointing. A true wine bar should be able to serve a decent cheese plate. We ended up cashing out and went down the street to a real restaurant to continue drinking and have appetizers. I believe this place has a lot of potential if they would expand their wine selection and serve some tapas or appetizers of some sort. There are a lot of great restaurants within blocks of that area so it is going to be very hard to compete with them when you just serve wine, beer and alcohol. They are really going to have to create a niche market for themselves somehow. read more

This place has an awesome wine selection including varietals from the FingerLakes region. The bartrendess who take care of us Sunday night has an amazing personality and very welcoming. The hubby and I had been in a futile search since wine in the area was hard to come by. (They don't sell it in grocery stores in NY) We found this place at the last minute about an hour from close. Nice outdoor patio. Nice village charm. The bar is supported well by the local community. They also had a decent beer lists though mostly lagers so craft aficionados may not be happy here. read more

Wonderful location, wonderful food and wonderful drinks. I came on a perfect warm summer day and enjoyed the outdoor area which was a great experience even for a large party. This place is well-known for their delicious $5 wine slushies and I am still recommending them to family and friends. The wine slushies were enticing and I did enjoy the mango margarita slush, but I had to try one of their cocktails that all had variety and were perfect for the season. I ordered the blueberry wine cocktail which was delicious. My party ended up splitting appetizers which were all amazing- ranging from chicken wing dip, flatbreads, olive bread and pretzels with beer cheese. Stone House is a great place to stop for a drink and apps in the summer! The patio is perfect for hanging out with friends and family; it's a really great atmosphere right on Center Street in Lewiston so it's got a small town vibe but is still near all the local shops. The bar was well stocked and they have great deals on different selections each day. Definitely try a wine slushy while you're there! They also recently opened a kitchen in the back of the patio which sells tapas, flatbreads and quesadillas separate from the main bar. I would highly recommend the bruschetta flatbread! read more

I recently went here for my first time and found it to be outstanding. The food was out of this world- get the Artichoke Spinach dip or a flat bread pizza and thank me later!! The drinks are amazing- the wine slushes are great and an excellent bargain! The patio has air conditioner blowing from the ceiling so you can enjoy it on the most humid days. The building is amazing and so historic. The bar was packed, and the wait time for drinks and food was next to nothing. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful with making food choices! I am a fan of the stone house. Decent wine selection by the glass, good, reasonably priced food and a nice bar with large TVs and a good amount of seating. However, on my last visit they did ask if i wanted to pay a 'glass deposit' for an actual wine glass or else I would be getting a plastic one (I guess people steal the glasses?!). This was a bit ridiculous, especially considering it is a wine bar. The plastic glass was not even a wine glass, but literally a disposable plastic cup :( read more

Met with a friend on the patio. Really nice patio and the Berry Sangria slushy was delightful. That being said, I probably will not return. The slushy was served in a small plastic cup that MAY hold 6 ozs. A bit pricey for a small cheap cup. I asked the waitress if the mushrooms on the flatbread pizza were fresh. She responded "absolutely". When I received my cheese Flatbread with added mushrooms, (extra charge) they were quite obviously canned. I did not complain. I then ordered an order to go. I requested a steak and cheese sub and an order of the pretzel sticks. The sub came after 20 minutes of waiting and no pretzels. After getting the servers attention she said they would be right out. They came, 2 to an order and a side of beer cheese dip. I did not request the cheese sauce and was charged extra for it. Then to top it all of, I was charged a Processing fee for using my credit card. I've never seen THAT before. All in all, not a great experience. read more
