It was much more one-on-one than I expected, and I really don't think I'd be doing as great a job as a mom as I am if I hadn't met the kind people here. Plus, when we go out of town and leave the cloth diapers at home, they help us out with a package of disposables via baby bucks earned during visits. If you're looking for a place to invest some good will in or you're a first time mom who needs a little guidance, these ladies are experienced and very helpful, as well as kind and caring. My only complaint would be that when my husband did one on one with the men, he always came back to me early after doing nothing. He was asked the same questions every time (how do you feel about becoming a father, do you think you're ready,) and not really offered advice or education from his advisor. He watched one video one time, and it's such a shame because more fathers out there often need a role model more than even the women do. It was a very big deal to me that they offered class with the father as well as the mother, but didn't really deliver. I felt like he needed the support and guidance much more than I did, and now like most women, I'm carrying the heavy part of the parenting. He still does a good job, I just wish he had gotten that male perspective on parenting. It would have made a huge difference.

I went to the Republic Family Medical walk in center yesterday for an earache. While waiting to be…read moreseen two women walked in and identified themselves as from the Pregnancy Resource Center. One said they were there to pick up a package they asked to be delivered here because their business would be closed at the expected delivery time. They walked past me while leaving and one said "Can I pray for you." I said "No thank you" She said "Are you sure?" I said "Yes, I'm sure!" She said "Jesus loves you" and they walked out the door. I talked with the woman at the window and the nurse about this. I have a right to seek health care without someone pushing religion on me. I felt the need to write this review and warn anyone who seeks help from the RPRC of their religious slant. I don't know if they are funded with taxpayers money but if so, they shouldn't be.
