They have damaged my vehicles and not said anything until I notice it and point it out. I have the owner on video stating how unsafe my previous brand new truck was and then put me back in it two days later without fixing a thing. I will add i brought it in that same morning with my whole family in the truck and their service advisor Kens response before having the owner, Tom Schuiteman- who you will hear in the video,ride with me- "you didn't buy that truck here, there isn't anything we can do for you" I will add not for sympathy but just so you can understand how little they care about their customers this was all going on while I was receiving chemo treatments for cancer. At one of the most stressful points in my life they truly made it worse trying to get this brand new truck fixed. It was in there over a dozen times for the same issue. When went to have the vehicle lemon lawed they fought it every step of the way and continued to tell FCA the vehicle was fine. I almost forgot they tried to void the warranty on the air suspension of the truck because they said it was overloaded and the compressor burned up. Only because I refused to accept that did they actually do their job and realized the system was never charged from the factory. This truck was only a few months old at this point. They installed the steering gear wrong on my charger. The last time the charger was in there they said the main wiring harness was bad and that it was discontinued. The harness was in fact not bad and only a pig tail connector needed to be replaced and was available through FCA. Now on to my latest visit in which the drive line has a significant vibration and carrier bearing chatter. They refuse to warranty it and say there is nothing wrong even though it is very obvious that it is a problem. Even with video of the driveshaft and carrier chattering I was still told no there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. I could add 50 more stories of their failures as a dealership all the way back to 2010 when they put a motor in my 09 charger and 3 miles down the road had puked out all of the oil because they reused a parts. The dishonest nature of this business is deeply concerning. I have extended Mopar warranties on every vehicle I have owned and all of these items should be covered under that extended maxcare warranty. Because of Ben's help, I was back on the road by Monday afternoon and back home in suburban Detroit, that night. Back to the hundred things that await a family after a vacation like this. Avoid this service department…read more The service manager lies. They scheduled my truck for service and didn't start working on it for another week. Then returned it to me with an obvious coolant leak. Within 100 miles after their repairs, I had a check engine light on and found that they smashed a connector together, bending the pins, and had to pay someone else to fix it. The service manager said he "would get back in touch with me", but never did. They are okay for tires and batteries, but if you need anything complex or involving them touching your engine, go elsewhere.

We had repetitive problems with the same issue that we had fixed by local repair guy in California. When this happened again while in Michigan we were hesitant as to who to call. After calling Great Lakes Ford, we decided to get it fixed right this time. We had it towed to Great Lakes and they diagnosed the problems as to what was causing the repeat starting issues. They had to order a part, and as soon as they could get it on their schedule got our truck repaired. It was a big relief to have this specific problem diagnosed correctly finally as we have to take this truck back to CA. Shuttle service they offer was really appreciated as well.

First he asked me to bring it back the next day because he wanted mechanics to look at something first. Which I did, calling in advance to check. Well then he decided they should look at it overnight to check for something else, the engine had to be cool. So I call and ask if they have time the next time, which he says yes. I call at 11:30 like he tells me to, mechanics haven't looked at it. He says call back around 3:30. I do so, and mechanics still haven't looked at it and apparently won't have time to. When I expressed how he wasted my time, he took no responsibility and said other repairs were promised. Mechanic told me same thing...well, so was I. That's why I called day before to check. Other worker told me I need to talk to someone who knows what they're talking about. They smugly told me, oh well I can have my car and sell it myself. Thanks!
