What do you look for when you look for a church? For me, it was a place to call Home- a place that felt as welcoming as seeing a group of friends. I also wanted a place where I felt fed in the word of God with real life examples that tie together the Bible with my daily struggles. I came from a small town church from about 4 years ago, and along the way to finding Freedom I sampled about 4 churches in different areas. What makes Freedom different? Well let me explain: First of all, they're transparent. They are the first to tell you they're not perfect, no church is. However- their mission is to reach people to know God. I mean- the pastor wears t-shirts and jeans sometimes! Secondly, they're innovative. When a pastor climbs a ladder on top of a raised stage, roller skates, or drags a ball and chain around to make a point that's how you know this church is committed to making an impact in a big way. Third, there is convenience. Don't have a Bible or forgot yours? No worries, the worship guide most likely has the scripture for the day, and if it's a special speaker they'll put the words on stage on huge screens. Lastly- but certainly not least they're friendly. I'd be surprised if no one say hello to you during your visit. They have special parking, and gifts just for 1st time visitors! This church is all about getting you connected with others that you can do life with. Some other things of importance that I can't leave out include: the worship service. It's like a concert experience every Sunday. The children's ministry is also wonderful. The visual appeal alone is breathtaking. The sanctuary is relaxed and comfortable like going to a movie theater. The restrooms are always clean, and there is a water/ coffee station. Also, there is a room where you can still watch service, but in a separate room if you have little ones who are upset. There is also a room just for prayer, and a resource area. There is not enough great things to say about Freedom Church! I've been baptized by Pastor Terrell. I have not felt No need to search for another church home! Pastor Terrell Somerville, his family and Freedom church teach you values, teach you how to grow, to be a better person In Christ,a better husband or wife, a better father, a better friend! He speaks truth, Terrel is real! There is no hypocrisy! Freedom church is genuine, loving!, Accepting ! No matter what color, what language, what you look like, or what you wear! You have the availability to connect with like-minded people! Freedom Church kids or FC kids ministry is top! They honestly care about your children and teach your child the Bible!, How to be a better kid, a responsible, pure teen with The Edge! Lead by Pastor Chad Dunning. I love my church, Pastor terrific Terrel Somerville, and all of the staff! And last but not least the worship team lead by Danya is phenomenal!! And yes if it is too loud there are earplugs. We love Freedom Church! It is a true church family! I am always amazed by the level of community of everyone we meet and see. We started coming to Freedom almost 4 years ago. We were looking for a church that would be engaging for us but also provide a great place for our daughter to get involved. Pastor T is real, funny, and engaging. We have been going to Freedom church for over a year now and we love it! After going to a different church for many years, most Sundays I came home and couldn't even tell you what the sermon was about. Not so at Freedom Church. Pastor Terrell always makes an impact! My husbands do had recently moved and our old church was so far too drive. My husband suggested we try this church and I am so happy he did. We love the people at this church and our kids love going. It used to be a morning fight to get the kids going and now they are excited when Sunday morning comes around. Not till I finally attended Freedom Church after passing it hundreds of times, did I understand what having a true home church really felt like.
