We had a great time painting and the pieces came out so beautifully when I picked them up a week later. I had such a good experience that I decided to enroll in an adult art class and I have been going for one month now. I love it! The instructor is wonderful and the community of other students in the class are so encouraging! It's been a special time of the week for me when I get to spend a couple hours painting on Tuesday nights! I have 2 children I plan to enroll in the summer art camp and I'm exited for them to enjoy this art school like I do!

There is also a small soccer area, which was perfect for my kids. The food is probably the weakest part of the experience. The drink selection is limited and consists mainly of Pepsi products. Food options include hot dogs, pizza, and ice cream, but there wasn't anything I would consider remotely healthy. The restrooms were very clean, which I appreciated. The only thing I noticed was that the mirror in the women's restroom seemed a little loose or wobbly when reaching for the soap dispenser. The price feels a bit high for families with multiple children. For my two kids, the total was around $80 because the required Slick City socks must be purchased separately. The good news is that the socks can be reused on future visits, saving about $4 per pair next time. One feature I really liked was the toddler area, which has massage chairs inside. It seemed like a thoughtful touch for parents who want to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones. Just be aware that the gate out of the toddler area does not lock. Overall, I would definitely go back. Next time, I might bring a snack for afterward or plan to eat somewhere else once we leave. My kids are 13 and 11 years old, and they always have a blast when we visit with friends. I would recommend Slick City to families looking for an active and fun outing.

My son started here at 14 months, and sadly had to say goodbye at 3.5 years. His coaches here were named his best friends. They truly do a great job on giving one-on-one attention during class. They are extremely well balanced on work/play and maintaining relationships while building new ones when new kids come to join. The things my son learned here are irreplaceable. If My Gym ever comes to St. Louis, we will continue our membership.

But with mom out of town for the weekend, I was looking for stuff to do with my son, and it actually seemed like a pretty solid option. He's 6 years old and plays (kid-friendly) Squid Games worlds on Roblox. It's one of his favorite things to do, actually. So when I saw that they had a Squid Games thing here, I was pretty intrigued. It was noted to be 12+ though, so I opted to not book in advance and just ask the people working here when I arrived, if it would be appropriate for him. They all universally said that it would probably be too challenging for a 6 year old. So we booked Paw Patrol instead. Walking in on a Saturday meant that we had an hour wait, which was no problem because we had plenty to do at the mall in the meantime. He absolutely loved it. He hasn't stopped talking about it in the 24 hours since we finished. It was definitely easy enough for him to figure out how to play, other than the 2nd to last game where you were supposed to herd ducks and fish into their body of water. Even I struggled with that game. But the rest of it was very manageable. It's not the cheapest way to spend an afternoon, but we will definitely be back to do this again in the future.
