This was a surprise Christmas family outing. We had no idea where we were going. We were only told to dress comfortably and wear lace-up sneakers. We were paired up with another family that was scheduled at the same time. Our guide (I dont recall his name, but he's from Colorado) gave us full instructions and was very friendly and patient. He was sure to give us great kuddos when we did a good job. Our family did so well that we were invited to come back to learn tricks. It was one of the best family fun events we've had. Just finished up a flight here and I highly recommend this location, it was clean and spacious and the perfect place to host a party. Alex our flight instructor was absolutely amazing and so professional! Please make sure you tip your flight instructors! It's definitely harder than it looks! A unique experience of indoor skydiving. Great for something you've never done before e before if you aren't over 300lbs. The children (all teens) enjoyed it. Great place for families took my nephew for his 19th birthday if you want a place that gives you the opportunity to do "skydiving" without jumping out of a plane this is the place to go. Now I'm afraid of heights and have vertigo so I did not do this activity. However my nephew (5'10"), my daughter (5'11") and my husband (6'3") enjoyed it immensely. The require you to take a mandatory safety course before each flight. Safety gear provided. If you have long hair braid it or make sure you secure it. No ball caps can be worn nor eyewear. The pros: Our flight instructor, Josiah, was phenomenal! From beginning to end had a very positive attitude and was very helpful. Also very funny and helped our group enjoy the experience. It is a very fun and enjoyable experience overall. The experience: Each session is either for 1 minute or 2 minutes and you can pay for different levels depending on your experience. Our group had a couple of folks who were practicing for skydiving. It was really nice to watchnth folks that had experience and even was able to learn a maneuver as I watched. The cons: One of the female workers wasn't very friendly and looked like she hated being there. She also ran the video for our flight although she was originally behind the desk when we walked in. Since flight times are only a minute or two (depending on package), you would have to spend a bit more to get a more full experience. Do not buy flight vouchers that you are not going to use that day. Ifly will let anybody who knows you have purchased gift or return vouchers use them without your permission. In my case, I purchased 2 return voucher for 10 flights each. When I went to use them, I was informed that my guest that day had come back without the voucher and cajoled the employees into letting her reprint and then use my vouchers. Again Ifly let somebody who did not have the physical voucher use the vouchers I paid for. Let that sink in. I lost $400 to their complete lack of controls. read more

We had this planned for my sons birthday....we drove in from out of town for him to experience this just to arrive and be told "sorry, our system is down and we'll call you when it's up to reschedule. We don't know when it will be up". So we prepay $276, drive a few hours to get here, for absolutely nothing! The representative was way too casual about this! What company doesn't have a backup. We bought 2 jumps for 2 people so that's 4 minute of flying for about $149. When we got there my husband said it's so short, he'd rather give it to our 5 yr old son. Who was super eager for this experience. He's the one who requested it. I know so crazy. He saw something on youtube my husband is a thrill junkie so we went. The person who checks you in will try to sell you the Fly higher experience for $20. Ok we bought that. They also sell pictures of the flight. We bought those too. Joe the instructor, really knows his craft. He was wonderful with taking it slow and pulling back when my son was visibly scared. He was red faced and on the verge of crying, the audience of other people waiting for their turn all could see and there were audible cues of 'aw's', and 'he's so little'. Joe would bring our son around to face us to calm him and then go slow to continue the 2 minute flight. Then other people would take their turn and my son would wait again for his turn and i think spacing the flight experiences out like that is a good idea. In his next turn, he was still red faced and tense but at least not running to the door. LOL. I credit Joe for being a great instructor. He's really great at reading people's cues. Because of my son's fright, I don't believe he ever did the high flight that we paid the extra $20 for and the pictures they took were dark and small. I would advise against purchasing the pictures. Your own phone will take better pictures and videos than what they took. Did we get taken? Maybe the high flight. I read some of the reviews who were upset at the cost of the experience. But iFly, tells you and shows you what you're getting before you purchase the tickets. I don't see how you can blame them for that. Alternatively, you could jump out of a real plane for hundreds more. Yeah I don't want that for my 5 yr old either. The best deal comes after your jump, they sell packages that seemed half the price. read more

Went the first time with one boy a few days ago and came back today with all 4 boys. They had a blast. Our 5 year old was scared to go in on his turn and Joe took his time and made him feel comfortable enough to get in, jump on the net with no wind, worked up the wind and he flew a little. It was my sons birthday this past Sunday, and he was really looking forward to this. We had scheduled our skydiving experience online. I tried calling a few times because I had some questions about it, but it wouldn't get me through to actually speak to someone, I figured they were just busy. I decided to just ask in person once I got there. So my family and I drove to the Woodlands location, which is about 45 minutes from my home, to get there to a written sign on the door that said "NO POWER" I really wish they would've called me, or not let me book this reservation. It wasted 2 hours of my sons birthday and a long drive. He was so disappointed! The reason I gave it two stars is because a few days later when I did call, they didn't give me a hard time refunding me my money. It would've been nice if they would have offered some type of credit to make up for the inconvenience. All I would advice is, management should have blocked the online booking that day, and had customer service call all scheduled appointments. read more

My wife made a 7:00pm reservation as our time is limited and valuable. We arrived early @ 6:30pm to get checked in. It took 15 mins to sign all the wavers for our reserves time. The kids didn't get there safety orientation for another hour. We didn't pay $180 to sit and wait as they had overbooked, very poor time management and communication on there part. They said they could rebook but our niece was in from Canada leaving the next morning. Very disappointing, make sure you reserve 2 hrs of your day for 4 mins of fly time. read more

I was at this tunnel somewhat recently and wanted to check it out. It was really busy, but the staff made a legit effort to accommodate me and my friends. Two of the Instructors (Jed Lloyd and Joe P) we're outstanding, and went out of their way to ensure that my friends and I had a great flying experience in a safe environment. Would be more stars but the center allowed professionals to fly in between our group. There was a total of 10 in the group. In between each person they allowed professionals to fly for 2 min. This added a lot of time to go thru the group. I wouldn't have minded but this wasn't disclosed before hand. We had other plans after that this affected. I bought the 2 minute fly package for 75$ and made sure to tell the lady at the counter that my son does NOT want to do the high fly and accordingly I did NOT pay the extra 19$ . During the tutorial my husband made sure to tell the instructor NOT to do the high fly .When it was my sons turn he made sure to tell the instructor NOT to do the high fly . The instructor still did the high fly causing my son to almost faint vomit and go into a panic attack ! I don't understand why he did it !! I do not recommend trusting the workers here if you pay for something you should receive only what you paid for ! I am saddened by the whole experience and will never go there again !! Paid $335 for a family of five to "fly" 4 feet off the ground for a grand total of 10 minutes. Paid an additional $40 to go "high". Which is an additional 8 feet up...yippee! Can't do anything but float on my stomach with a man holding me...yay! Instructors flip and perform tricks that paying customers can not attempt, why was a waiver even required? My 3 kids (age 12,14, and 17) literally had more fun in the hotel pool. When we finished we were offered to go again as a daily special for like $120 (wow, was I ripped off the first time or what?). Afterwards we were given a cheesy certificate that we all threw in the trash. All 5 of us wished we would've spent the hundreds elsewhere. The staff was great though, very courteous and accommodating. The product just blows. Mark my words, this business will flop in a couple of years if they don't add some excitement. read more

So much fun. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpfully andand they explained the cost of everything upfront and allowed you to prepay. The waiting area was comfortable and you're able to watch other skydivers practice. Our instructor was Gabriel and he was just awesome. Made you feel comfortable and at ease and was very professional and well trained in the tunnel. I definitely recommend paying the extra $10 to be taken up to the top it was by far the most exciting part of the flying. I also recommend getting your photo taking it's only four dollars and you get actually get to choose from a bunch of photos which ones you want. My recommendation to the ladies is to bring a brush or comb because your hair doesn't look so good afterwards is quite tangled. Also ladies make sure you wear your hair in a low ponytail or a bun because you have to wear a helmet. Overall had a great time and will most definitely come back soon. read more

As a pretty frequent flyer at the wind tunnels, I have to say, the facilities here are excellent. The flight deck is spacious and the team room is fairly large. I love this tunnel for hosting things like competitions and great camps (including the current one with Inka Tittoo and Reed Ramage) to work on your freefly skills of all levels. If you're goal is improving as a return flyer, this is a nice place to do it. I love flying with John Berry! He's a blast inside of the tunnel and out! read more
