Review # 548 * (According to My 10 year Log)…read more June 29, 2026 What a Fantastic 1st Time to Enjoy this outdoor American Polish Festival on the grounds of the Polish Century Club. The festival was three days and I attended their 1st day, therefore My Review is for My overall description of the Polish Festival compared to other reviews that are for their banquet hall of events inside. I'm so glad that the organization moved from Freedom Hill location to their own back parking lot and grounds with plenty of FREE Parking in two lots. Business/ Club & Banquet Info: webmaster@american-polishcenturyclub.com Address: 33204 Maple Lane Sterling Heights, MI. 48312 PHONE: (586) 264-7990 I arrived on Friday June 26, 2026 at 4:30 pm and stayed for 2 hours. The Price to enter was $10.00 but on their Facebook Page, I obtained a $5.00 Off Coupon. (Photos Attached) First off I followed the many FREE Parking Signs on Maple Lane to park at the Career High School where there were several "Lavadas Limo Buses to shuttle guests to the entrance of the Centry Club. Thank You so much for that idea to the Polish Committee and I certainly tipped the drivers on drop off and the driver to drove Me back to My SUV in fact right down the isle... Classy, Polite and Efficient Drivers. (Photos attached including Sterling Heights Police Controlled) What a perfect evening to visit the many variety of Craft & Vendor Tents while hearing Polish Music in the background. Then after an hour of walking and smelling the Polish foods throughout I decided on the Homemade Booth/Tent to purchase a Polish Platter of 8 food items including Marble bread and butter. ALL WERE SMACZNE ! (Photos Attached of course) The Music Tent was huge for those to stay out of the sun and enjoy the music and dance floor. The Heritage Dancers were gracious and performed together with their routine! (Video's and Photos attached) I know how to dance the Polka from learning years ago from My Parents as a teenager. The music here was on tone and a few songs I knew the words too unfortunately No one to dance the Polka with. Several Food tents were available from the Hardworking Staff of the Century Club Cooking All Day with Polish Platters and Srodek's Market Foods plus Z & Z Polish Street Food pricing separately. NEW Food item was Polish Nachos... didn't try so next year since I WILL be back to enjoy the Festival again and try different foods. The trailers set up offered Fresh Lemonade, Elephant Ears, along with Funnel Cakes. Unfortunately I didn't taste test since I was FULL ! :-) "Na Zdrowie to the Polish Beers!" Oh Yes I enjoyed 2 different ones from Poland and a Local Michigan Brewery, since 2014 called Kuhnhenn selling "Pole Dancer Ale both priced $9.00. I will shop to buy their limited edition Beer and enjoy at My Home In Macomb. (Photos Attached) My photos I posted are of the Craft and other business tents that offered different merchandise to buy. AND Guess what business was at this Festival that I shopped at ? "Polish Pride of Michigan" had the first tent upon walking in. I talked to Erica, daughter of the owners Doreen & Craig Geml who weren't there but she wrapped up carefully my purchases of a Polska Mug, Shot Glass and sticker for My SUV. Even though the shop is no longer next door to Srodeks on Mound Rd., you can shop on line at: www.polishpride.com or email her at PolishPrideofMi@gmail.com SpecialK - Me is a Helper Yelper to continue to promote this Business. In Conclusion, I'm very proud to be 200% POLISH from both of My Dear Parents (RIP) and their traditional upbringing with facts about Poland, My Mom's Polish Food recipes that I cook and Post on My Cooking Page and of course My Dad who Loved his Polish Beers. My Compliments & "Dziekuje" to All the APCC Staff and its Members for preserving the Polish culture in the past at different historical parks and now promoting their 44th Annual Festival in Sterling Heights. My visit showed great teamwork, organization with the Music, many tents, vendors, variety of Polish & American foods, table areas to sit inside tents or umbrella covered tables outside. The Security personnel company keeping the environment safe and salute the Boy Scouts and their leaders who were walking around assisting with cleaning areas and First Aid if needed. I'm looking forward to another Polish Festival visit in 2027. Do Widzenia (Goodbye), Pozegnanie (Farewell) Dzien dobry (Good Day) Sincerely, Karen N. SpecialK - Polish Princess ... Wish I could post the Poland Flag
