Bark Busters Home Dog Training - Us with Roux, a very good boy!

Bark Busters literally saved our dog, Roux. We thought we were going to have to lose him due to his…read morereactivity. It was only a matter of time before he really hurt someone. But after only one day with Ryan, he's a whole new boy. He listens, he's no longer anxious, he doesn't follow us around all the time, he stays out of the kitchen, and he walks calmly on a loose leash. Best of all, we can have friends over again. We had just accepted for a long time that he'd have to stay in the garage whenever we had guests over, but he is doing amazingly well with visitors now. We never thought it was possible. It's super expensive, which sucks, but it was worth it for us.

He was severely aggressive towards other dogs and sometimes humans after being attacked when he was a pup. even though he grew up socialized, he was always frightened, spazed out in public and would 100% look for blood from any dog that was too close. DAYCARES WOULDN'T EVEN ACCEPT HIM!! We tried getting advice and watching videos online but nothing worked!..I now get complements about how well behaved and awesome my dog is.. By the end of our first session I was almost overwhelmed with the the fact that half the techniques you hear/watch about training and living with your dog, are actually ineffective/opposite of what really produces effects!!!! Even after a few sessions with consistency and use of the tools (highly recommend the training collar!!) we already had a changed dog. He has his confidence back and I truly have control and communication with him. Every session is a new hurtle. I would absolutely recommend!!

I purchased a German Shepherd puppy from Hugh McDonald and Angela Gaskell of Von ALPENMAC German…read moreShepherds. They gave me a lifetime warranty on his health. At two years old he developed severe hip dysplasia and I ended up having to euthanize him at two years and 11 months old because he had bone cancer. Hugh refused to honor his health guarantee on my dog and five years later, still refuses to talk to me about it and just hangs up on me when I call him and ignores my emails. He insists I am making all of these stories up, but I have all the paperwork and pictures to prove him wrong, along with my dog's remains in a box. I have owned many German Shepherds and one of the biggest problems they can develop is hip dysplasia, so I did not worry whether Tristen's diagnosis would fall under their lifetime health guarantee, because that is a given with any reputable German Shepherd breeder. My previous experience has been a five year health guarantee, covering hip dysplasia, with at least three breeders I have purchased a puppy from in the past. At this point, both Hugh and Angela told me Tristen did not have hip dysplasia and his diagnosis was incorrect. Long story short, Hugh does not honor his guarantee on the health of his ouppies or anything else for that matter. He got lucky and had a good stud that produced beautiful puppies and made a fortune. I believe he's in the Rye, Colorado area now, doing the same thing. BEWARE OF THIS BREEDER!!

There is a picture of my dog on their website: Google.com/site/vonalpenmac/m-litter. He is renamed…read moreas Ace on this site. He was my service dog and he's wearing an orange service dog jacket. My ex-husband is holding him in this picture. I purchased my puppy from this breeder because of their "lifetime" guarantee" which they used to claim in 2013. Latest Update: 11/19/16. My dog has now been dead for 2 1/2 weeks. When I took him to the vet to have him examined for hip replacement surgery, the vet noticed his back left foot was swollen. After several tests, it was confirmed he had osteosarcoma (bone cancer). He never had a chance to have his hips fixed. I was forced to put him down approximately 3 1/2 weeks after he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma because he was in so much pain. When I first wrote my review, he was 2 1/2 years old and was diagnosed with hip dysphasia. I informed them a couple of days ago and they said they'd get back to me. Not only did they not get back to me, but they have blocked me from contacting them any further. Off to court we go. Stay away from this breeder if you expect them to honor their guarantee. THEY WON'T. The cost to have his hips replaced will be approximately $5,000. Buyer beware!!! Update: 10/16/16: My dog has now been diagnosed with bone cancer and has a couple of weeks to months to live. I called Hugh with this new information and begged for a replacement puppy. My dog is not even 3 years old. Hugh hung up on me twice and then stopped answering so I could leave a message. He nor Angela called me back of course. I'm now out over $4,000 in vet bills and I cannot save my dog, no matter what I spend on him. How can you two live with yourselves? You also have the nerve to have a Go Fund Me page for Angela Gaskell (which you finally closed after receiving over $2,000 more than you said you needed) for your kidney, but meanwhile rip me off, disabled from a brain tumor, while I watched my service dog die.
