Smartron coordinated with the utility company to unlock the panels and arranged inspection at the end. They took care of everything. We had a problem with double taps on an electric panel. Smartron upgraded the necessary panels and fixed the double tap issues. As you can see from the pictures the work is very clean and organized. I will definitely call Smartron again if I need anymore electrical done in the area. Also, Smartron made sure there were smoke detectors located throughout in order to pass inspection. For some reason, he thought I was going pay 1k on the spot to have him fix "loose wires" and $2500 to fix the lose wires with a whole house surge protector. And for 10K, I can have all the above done plus rewire "back stabbed outlets". He wasn't going to insure his work without replacing all the back stabbed outlets. Spoke with three electricians this morning who are laughing at these prices. The tech wouldn't email me the estimates because of "competition" but I think it's because the prices are so outrageous that he literally didn't want proof of them in anyone's hands. I did get the two lowest estimates that I described above sent to my email... he'd only send two out of the five or six he wrote up on his ipad sitting in my kitchen. Just really bad optics. I'd find an hourly electrician of I were you. I felt I was in a two hour sales call that I needed to pay for. The whole thing was just really bizarre and there were a lot of "firsts" for me that Ive never seen from any trades company.

Based on no follow through of something basic as a phone call, I went against my gut instinct and decided to give them one more chance. They gave me a one hour window of 2pm-3pm on Thursday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. The apologies sounded insincere as if it was something she was repeating all day long to people. She said she could reschedule me for the following Tuesday, but offered no ownership of the issue and no guarantee that the 3rd time would be any different. If they didn't want the job, then they should have told me. I wouldn't have wasted 2 days off and I wouldn't have written this bad review.
