My transmission was never fixed and didn't even make it 20 miles down the road. When I called him he never called me back and still hasn't answered any texts or calls and nothing was ever fixed at all and he costed me 4100 dollars in repairs he didn't do read more

I'm so grateful for Jason at Freedom Transmissions. He really saved the day when my car entirely stopped working with a transmission problem. I instantly had the expectation of having to replace the transmission, which would have been a disaster since my family and I were over 1,000 miles from home and still 200 miles from our destination. But Jason diagnosed the problem, made the repair and charged me an entirely fair price. He could easily have overcharged me, and I would have had no choice but to pay. Instead he did a great job, charged a very fair price, and really went above and beyond. I consider it a blessing to have met him and would highly recommend his services if you need any of his services. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Jason D.

My name is Jason and I am the Owner of Freedom Transmissions located in the Thumb of Michigan. I started my career right out of high school at 18 years old and have had years of ongoing experience and advances in this field. I started out at the local dealerships after finishing college, and worked my way up to Ford Motor Company, earning my Ford Senior Master Tech Recognition. I moved on from there to Roush Industries, where I added Hybrid and Electrical Research and Development training, applying these concepts in the lab. After a while, I relocated down to the Ozarks where I ran my first transmission business, eventually moving back up to Michigan, settling here in the Thumb. I was employed for GM's Technical Assistance Center before deciding to open another business up here to meet the needs of the community. I take pride in what I do, and try to meet the needs of my customers. Feel free to reach out for a quote or with any questions you may have. We're always happy to help!
