The parts of the lawn that were very overgrown were pretty evenly mowed and the rest of the lawn was just right. I did not expect them to be able to come the day I accepted the contract but they did. (We were happy they could.) I called them Monday and described the property to Sean and he gave us a quote for a one time mow. I told him that part of our lawn was very over grown (3 feet tall in places). Tuesday, I updated the description on his web site and he adjusted the quote. We spoke Tuesday morning to ensure that our description was clear. We accepted the bid then he explained his crew was going to be in our area so he suggested that we pay by credit card (we do not use Venmo) we did and paid the quoted amount (included tax), tip and credit card processing fee. His crew showed up around 2:00 PM. They asked my neighbor if they could park in his driveway. My neighbor said yes and gave them further input about our lawn. My neighbor said they were polite, friendly and professional. I would use them again if I could not mow the lawn for some reason. The prices seemed reasonable for the service provided.

We scheduled a estimate time/day and actually arrived on said day/time. He gave me a fair price and so I decided to do both tree and gravel parking space (this was on a Friday). He showed up Sunday after asking if he did the space out for the parking space. Monday he came and chopped the limbs off the tree as per uploaded. Tuesday he came and cleaned (very well I might add) the tree limbs and branches. Also brought the gravel and dumped/spread it. Finally called plumber at Brown's in Waterloo. I wanted to keep the work in my area. They called right back on a Sunday and came right out to check the situation with the plumbing. He end up doing some work In the basement and fixed some things, then ran snake after snake before he decided it was a pipe on the outside in the ground! They came bright and early the next day ( after he gave us a idea of what it was going to cost). They called and had the utility companies come and mark everything out. They dug the area, fought with rocks and slug and items that should never be flushed, pulled the old pipe, dug some more, and replaced the pipe with new. Filled in with cement, stone, refilled hole with the sod. It did not look like an easy job to say the least. My husband supervised as they worked and said they did a wonderful job. They were polite and they all spoke softly including the big hole digger! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Professional and they did a Great Job. Thanks for there swift action I have my bathroom back!

Outstanding experience with the work and care of Carl Prosser. I had a dishwasher water leak. Required replacement of floor, lower cabinets, some plumbing and electric. Carl Replaced damaged hardwood flooring and blended it seamlessly into older un-damaged floor. Flawless refinishing of old hardwood flooring. Installed new porcelain kitchen floor- amazed at how perfectly square tiles are to the new cabinets. Custom built new cabinets to match existing upper cabinets and cleaned upper cabinet so everything looks sparkling new! Dye matched stain on new cabinets so all match perfectly. Workmanship is the best I have ever seen. Carl showed when he said he would, completed work in a timely manner and kept to the estimates. Carl installed my new sink, re-plumbed sink/dishwasher and ran new up-to-code electric where needed. He was also very helpful with design elements and cost saving suggestions that saved me money. I highly recommend Carl to anyone . His work is immaculate and he won't be dishonest with anything. read more

For our recent remodel project, Carl was able to identify specifics of the wood species (in our case cypress), develop a plan to remove decades of gym seal & grime, repair damaged areas, sand and refinish this wood to absolute, like new condition.The tranformation was from old to new was dramatic. After moving into our "so not move-in ready" house a year ago without refinishing the hardwood floors first because we couldn't find anyone in the area that would call us back, we were lucky enough to find Carl. The orange floors were driving me crazy but I was dreading getting the floors done while we were living in the house. Since Carl is a perfectionist, it took quite a few days to sand the floors but he had told us that up front and it was well worth it! And there was minimal dust and at the end of each day, everything was swept and vacuumed up so there was no issue with breathing. I look forward to using Freedom Woodworks and working with Carl in the future for many of our other items on the never ending to-do list. read more

They were clean and efficient with clean up of old materials - we had old gutter attachments still on the house in certain areas, and they disposed of it with ease. He said it was the quality of the ashfalt and sometimes that happened. He offered to seal coat for no charge later the following year. I was satisfied with that. After a few months into summer I sent him a text asking if he was still going to do it . He said he had not forgot about me. Never showed. Be careful! He came to look at the sidewalk, gave me a reasonable quote, and the sidewalk job was completed a week later. Toby and his crew worked hard all day and did an excellent job, leaving us with a beautiful new sidewalk. We have hired him to come back in about a month to reseal our driveway, and I am sure Toby and his crew will do a great job with that also. These are good people who work hard and do excellent work!
