I was coming to town for my brother's wedding (so excited!) and Freedom Car Service provided the transportation. This is how it works. Freedom Car provides you with an estimate for the job when you make the reservation on line. You provide them with your flight information and they monitor your flight. As soon as I turned my phone on after landing, I had a voice mail from Mike, our driver, requesting a call to let him know if we had checked bags or carry on. We had carry on bags. I called Mike. He told me where to meet him. We walked right off of the plane and out off the airport and into the clean, black, Toyota Avalon that was waiting for us! We arrived to our destination without any issues. Mike was a friendly,  professional, and conscientious driver! They automatically charge your credit card when you are dropped off. Easy peasy...The process takes the stress out of transportation to and from the airport! I would definitely use them again. read more

Gregory was our driver in Baltimore to my destination in Towson on July 31st. He was super polite and chose the fastest route through the tunnel. He was a safe and smooth driver! We contracted with Freedom Car to run as a shuttle between the guests' hotel and the wedding venue. They ran back and forth for an hour and a half in the party van:) The funny part of that name is it was the transport for our extremely valuable - but also extremely fragile older guests and family that couldn't safely navigate the Fells Point cobblestones. Mike - our driver was just awesome - respectful, on time and professional! The feedback from the guests and my family were outstanding. Top drawer company, superb service. Really like that they'll bill my company direct and tip is included in the price so it's a cashless transaction all the way. Or of course you can pay by credit card. I have used them a lot to bwi, dca and Dulles. They are usually waiting for you 15, 30 or more minutes early. in the rare occasion where things get delayed its customer service all the way. Also if you use carryon you can call from the gate and they'll be waiting for you. This is a really well run business. read more

I was picked up in a huge van at Baltimore Penn Station, so I had considerable room to stretch out and get comfortable. Matt, my driver, was lovely and communicative. Very friendly but didn't push for conversation when ours naturally petered out, which is the best! The folks who helped me book my ride were so helpful and really went out of their way to give me excellent service. They took me from Penn to Monrovia, MD, about 40 minutes outside of Baltimore. Highly recommend Freedom Car. They were a pleasure to deal with, particularly Emily and Mark (the manager). Due to our schedule, we had to book car for in the middle of the night for a drive that would take a few hours. They weren't fazed by this, nor was the driver, James. James was pleasant, showed on time, appeared rested and put-together despite the early hour, and seemed to have researched the route prior to getting us as he knew exactly where and how to go. He was a safe driver and was also very quiet during the ride so we could get some needed rest. The car was impeccably clean, felt new and had no scents. All this made us very comfortable and the trip enjoyable. My parents in Baltimore also use this company for airport transfers. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. read more

I called to reserve a car last minute on the Thursday night before Presidents' Weekend. When the very polite man at the other end of the line told me they were probably all booked up, I was not surprised. Then he said that he might be able to figure something out. After a short while, I was informed that he's called one of his drivers and that he could come in a little early and pick me up! When that generous man arrived outside my door promptly the next morning, I was greeted with a warm smile. The drive was pleasant and informative (do you know the history of the superstition around Friday the 13th? I do now!) and I arrived at my destination on time. Freedom Car was great! We used them for airport drop off and pick up for our family vacation. I was able to book online, talk to their agent about what I was looking for (family travel, lots of luggage). They were very transparent about the price and super easy to use. We had some personal difficulties when we landed (absolutely NOTHING to do with Freedom Car) and they were incredibly patient with us as we got them sorted out. Thanks Freedom Car! I've used Freedom Car before in the past without issue, but this past Monday, the driver was late so I hopped in cab. Two days after my scheduled reservation, I was charged for the ride and when I called to get a refund, the operations manager was a complete dick to me. I didn't have time to call FC to cancel on the day of because I had a flight to catch and was worried about finding new transportation to get there. The ops mgr would not help me out and demanded that I explain to him why I should get a refund. I finally spoke to the owner who compromised and gave me a partial refund. Yes, this situation is probably mostly my fault, but the company's response showed a lot (particularly the jerk ops manager). Bottom line, these people are terrible at customer service and are short-sighted about retaining customers. I will walk before I use this service again. read more

I can't recommend Freedom Car service enough. The car arrived on time and they were very professional, but that's not what's exceptional about them. It's a family business and my driver, who is also the owner, was one of the kindest and most interesting people I've met in a long time. We have used Freedom Car twice. Both trips have been stellar! We were a group of fourteen attending two very large political events in DC. The owner Mark was amazingly helpful and responsive. I had many questions, concerns and special needs regarding our riders. He made excellent recommendations for our group. Our shuttle bus was super nice, perfectly clean, comfortable with good suspension (excellent ride). Our driver Chuck was terrific and took impeccable care of us. He was prompt, incredibly polite, patient and professional. We had a wheel chair and a special needs rider both times. He took care of everything. I planned my destination wedding in Florida and needed my mom to fly out of Baltimore. She doesn't fly very often and had never flown alone so I was really nervous leaving my mom to fend for herself as she was traveling as typically I'm with her to help. I figured it was easier to have a car take her to the airport and pick her up on her return flight than deal with parking and shuttles. I desperately needed to find a company I could trust and safety was my main priority, so I hit the internet and read review after review until I found Freedom Car. The reviews for this company are amazing. Now I know why. They helped my mom and I during every step of the way. Their communication is stellar. I received email updates before the pickup each time. They were prompt, helpful, easy to deal with and on time each way. For the return flight the driver met her in the luggage area with a sign so she felt safe and helped her carry her luggage as she has a bad shoulder. My mom even raved about how kind and communicative the driver was. It put her at ease which is what I wanted. As a bride trying to coordinate everything and being stressed as it was, it was so amazing to be able to have one less thing to worry about. My mom was was in great hands with this company.
