Every ReStore will be a little different as its inventory is dependent upon its community donations, but the general store model is to have dedicated ongoing Home Depot clearance section for a good portion of the store. The Phoenixville store, like others, will be hit or miss on what you need. Yesterday I needed prehung exterior doors. Called ahead and they claimed to have some, but they had zero. I took a pretty thorough look around and posted a lot of photos. I bought some small items for an art project but otherwise it was wasted gas based on them claiming they had what they didn't have. Good cause, and if you are remodeling one room, or trying to fix or replace something in your home, you will probably have good luck here (or at another nearby location), but if you own a rental property, have new construction, are doing a major reno, etc. and need bulk stuff, you will be out of luck. Flooring and tile are in "leftovers" batches of one or two rooms worth, if that. If you check these stores' social media, you will see new arrivals if a supplier donated a larger quantity, but if you have a time limit on your job, you can't rely on them to have something in stock as you need it. I couldn't even get a door, which they claimed to have, so take phone calls with a grain of salt. Prices are okay, not amazing. The 5-gallon paint at this store is $75, while same stuff at the West Norriton store is $90, so watch out among stores.

As a marketing gimmick, they'll ask "What is it that we can do to help make our organization a better place? Well here's your answer: Advice to management? That's the whole problem with Child and Family Focus. Management is not interested in taking advice. The CEO's got a bunch of control addicts, more like "yes people" saddled in key positions reporting exactly what he wants to hear. There are key employees that are more interested in personal gain than following the supposed mission statement that the organization was founded on, "enhance the quality of life and relational well-being of youth and their families." Overall, administration is beyond unprofessional with the way they conduct business. CFF has some incredibly talented employees that are underpaid, under appreciated. There have been some key players lost over the years due to some bad business decisions that rest within administration. If one doesn't fit into their "cult", you're shown the door within time. Oh yeah.. advice? Start out by getting rid of the "yes people" that are bringing down your business specifically in the heart of administration. Get rid of those who don't have enough guts to make a decision, and are more interested in keeping their head in the stand. Find a replacement for those who choose not to start their day till 10:00 a.m. and are more interested in what to order for lunch as soon as they get in, as the work continues to pile up. Most importantly, get back to your original "commitment to serve with excellence". That means serving your employees as well as your clientele. The attempt to grow a non-profit that lacks overall structure into a " corporate environment" will never work. It's failing. The last time I checked, that's not serving with excellence.
