Eric Wells is an enterprising young man with Down's Syndrome who decided to open a store where people with different mental abilities can sell their artwork & crafts, along with unique gift items. Eric also sells informational and children's books about including individuals with special needs into our lives. They are located in the Rosemont Farmer's Market, with plenty of free parking. Open Thursday - Sunday. I am seriously excited about this business and am really looking forward to my next visit!

FTD-picks.org is a leader and important resource to researchers and caregivers of those affected by FTD. This wonderful organization's mission is to: * To promote and fund research into finding the cause, therapies, and cures for the frontotemporal dementias; * To provide information, education, support and advocacy to persons diagnosed with FTD, their families and caregivers; * To educate physicians and allied health professionals about the FTDs and how to improve patient care; * To bring about greater public awareness of the nature and prevalence of the Frontotemporal dementias and the needs of those who are coping with them; * To advocate with public officials and to promote public and private programs that provide appropriate, affordable and high-quality long term health care and social services. I personally salute this organization and thank them for their mission, as I and my family has personally been affected by this terrible disease. I hope and pray that FTD can one day be cured.
