I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I have been a customer at this store since it was called Nana's Attic. Today I was there, looking for furniture. The selection was a bit overpriced for the quality. Suddenly, I needed to use the restroom. The woman working informed me that they did not have a public restroom and that I could go to the Dollar Tree next door. The Dollar Tree did not have a usable restroom. I returned to thrift and thrive because, quite frankly, I was literally about to pee myself. I begged to use the employee bathroom. The employees lied to my face and said that there was no bathroom in the entire store. Yeah right, if that's true, then that's a worker's rights violation, and they would not be in business. I explained that I was having an emergency and they did not care. It really stinks to be a loyal patron of a store, then to be treated so poorly in return. Particularly during a vulnerable moment. There are plenty of better thrift stores in the area with better prices AND customer bathrooms. It's a shame that a store that has such a great mission doesn't provide a great shopping experience.

However finding these pieces took me about two hours the store. Although the selection wasn't as impressive as other consignment stores and greater Philadelphia the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Two weeks later I stopped in again and the other worker, Michelle, said they were not taking summer clothes because they "had too many". This would have been fine except her tone and dismissive attitude were rude and uncalled for, not to mention Daphne told me to keep coming in and their website does not indicate that they had stopped excepting consignments. I then left Daphne a voicemail and emailed her but received no response so I stopped in a few days later to speak with her. As I was walking towards them Michelle said to Daphne "THIS is the girl I was telling you about". Daphne rudely told me that they were no longer taking anything unless I wanted to leave my bags for them to go through and they would donate the rest (even though the old procedure was they would go through it and then call you to pick up what they didn't want). I guess their consigners are no longer worth a phone call! The next day I returned to pull all of my items that did not sell with very very little help from both Michelle and Daphne. Michelle could not even figure out how to work the computer to print me out my lists of items that were on the floor. It took over two hours to find all of my items because of the awful organization skills of this place. My clothes now smelled terrible so I washed them and will take them to other stores I consign at that treat me well, such as LuLu, The Loft on 724, Greene Street, and even Plato's Closet. These stores are pickier, but for good reason - they have a MUCH better selection and I would recommend checking them out before you waste your time looking for hours for any quality items at "Love" It!

I absolutely love this shop and vibe!  The selection feels thoughtfully curated and the best part is that their prices are affordable. The denim selection is amazing, and I'm obsessed with all the crochet pieces. The jewelry is just as good -- tons of gold, plus beautiful silver pieces (which is so in right now). My life was forever changed when I found the best pair of aviators here -- I've been dreaming about glasses like these, and somehow they were just sitting there waiting for me. That's the kind of place LuLus is. If you're looking for something unique and one-of-a-kind, this is exactly where you should shop. It's the kind of boutique you keep coming back to for the fun, the glamour, and of course, because you never know what you'll find next. Thank you! Support local

Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.
