I hired Freeport trees to remove a large tree that was threatening my roof. They did a good job, clean up well but, two things: they left a large amount of shavings, too much that had to be hauled away by the new tree planter. And they left a large portion of the trunk in the ground that impeded the planting of new trees; they aren't evenly planted and it seems I will need to get the planter back and remove the obstruction and replant the new trees. I tried to contact Freeport but never got a call back. I'm disappointed, I'll have to pay to get this trunk completely removed. It's not my business and went into this blind, trusting Freeport to do a proper job. At this point its become clear that was my mistake. My advise is to be forewarned. Better, find another tree service. The new tree planter told me they completely remove the old trunks, had I known they also remove trees I'd have given it all to them. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would! Rene is the MOST unprofessional business owner. He's rude and he always tries to take advantage of you. We've used them before & they were very messy. We decided to give them another shot & they agreed to take down dead trees and the quote was confirmed numerous times with the office. Rene shows up on the scheduled day, cut down one large branch & said I can't do this job for that price, then proceeded to threaten he would leave the job if he didn't get double the price to do the work!! We refused & he left! Who does that?! If you misquote that's on you! Own it & do the job you committed to do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Rene is rude & a con man!!! read more

Wow! I am really impressed and couldn't be happier! Rene was prompt when he came to give me an estimate. His crew was prompt when they showed up for the job. They trimmed a large tree that had several dead branches and had branches that were too close to the house, they removed several large bushes, and removed a tree stump. They also smoothed out a path that had protruding roots that posed a hazard. The crew was very professional and worked quickly. Santos checked with me to make sure they understood exactly what was needed. When they were done, he showed us what they did and made sure we were happy with the results. The crew was courteous and left everything clean. I highly recommend this company and will keep their card in my rolodex! read more

After a few missed dates that they were suppose to come, they left a ton of chips behind, I paid for complete removal. Had to almost harass the guy to come back to pick them up, after he tried to charge me for coming back. After they removed just the chips I personally removed the dirt and soil only to realize the stump and roots below are all there above grade level. Had to have another company come on and complete the job. You get what you pay for, what you don't get, is what you paid for. read more
