We said not to touch our neighbor's tree because it provided shade in our backyard. Because they rushed the job, they were careless. They cut some of the branches of my neighbor's tree making it look asymmetrical now. They are two different trees so you can't mistake one for the other. They broke a trellis, a water feature and cracked several slate slabs because they carelessly dropped chunks of the tree trunk instead of lowering them carefully. The workers were thoughtlessly stepping on plants, putting tools on top of plants. I had to mention the damage to Lauren the owner. Her business partner Wilfredo said nothing to me that damage was done as if it was acceptable to break things in the process. I was beginning to be sorry I hired them at this point because they still had to remove the stump. They were scheduled to come the next day. My wife was waiting in the 90-degree heat outside to save a parking space for their truck and equipment when they arrived. They didn't show. I received no call or text. I called and they cancelled because they were running late with another job. They came the next day to finish the stump and bring the replacement items that they damaged which was a clay pot which was part of the water feature and the slate that was damaged. I was at work and my wife in good faith paid them in full because they said they replaced the slate tiles. When I came home from work, I saw that they brought the wrong tiles and the wrong size and just took tiles from where the tree was removed and replaced the broken ones with them and still there were broken tiles. Nothing was replaced. I decided to let the trellis and water feature go because they weren't serious about fixing this and I wanted these people out of my life. I noticed a couple of days later on my neighbor's tree that there was a tree limb dangerously hanging by a thread and was about to fall. I brought it to W&L's attention being that they caused it. W&L said it was pre-existing damage which was baloney because the break in the tree limb was fresh looking. The limb fell a few days later. If you look on their website, there are two phone numbers, only one works, and it is Lauren's direct cell phone number. There is no official business number. I was going to let this whole thing go, but I don't want other people to go through this. I understand it was a very hot week, and it is very hard work, but it's the owners that are solely responsible for overseeing the work that is being done. Also, it shouldn't take a week and multiple calls to get a simple paid in full receipt. Totally unprofessional! Phil and Chris Buck

His crew was already in the neighborhood and showed up just a few hours later. They safely took down all three trees (including a full stump grind on the big one near the house), removed a giant heavy branch hanging toward our roof from the utility tree, and trimmed two others. Everything was done professionally with great care around the house, power lines, and landscaping. Sammy also informed us to let our town know which tree would be cut down to obtain the proper permit and approval. They also provided their updated insurance on file with our town. Everything went smoothly and on the day they were scheduled, they confirmed prior to the date as to what time they were starting. Sammy is very responsive via text and they did an excellent job pruning our trees and taking down the large oak tree including grinding the stump. The company was doing a job at my…read moreneighbor's, one of his guys came over gave me an estimate of 550 I said I'd  pay  500 cash for bringing down the top of my birch and shaping the sides, it needed to be thinned. The owners  attitude started to show during the job when I asked him to cut two branches on the tree. He complained and said that's not part of the job, I am only topping the tree not doing side work.  At the end when I gave him 500 cash he immediately went off screaming and belittling me and trying to intimidate me and then moved that into the street sounding like a crazy man. I said to him if you spoke to me and you said you didn't agree  to take the 500 like a person in a normal voice I would pay it  but you start shouting at a customer immediately without discussion. I said this is how you treat a customer immediately going off on them!  You certainly do not want future work! After they left I noticed that my window screen was ripped from a branch after it came off the tree!

Due to scheduling, it worked best for them to do the job the next morning. No complaints here. Tree was gone by 830am the next day. Worth mentioning this tree had grown up into the power lines. These guys looked comfortable running the saws near the lines and seeing as how the power stayed on, I assume they know what they're doing. Quick too. Cleanup was thorough when they were finished up.
