Fraudulent Charges & Terrible Customer Service I was a loyal Progressive customer for over six years, but my recent experience was a nightmare. After selling my car, I canceled my policy, yet they kept charging me. Customer service repeatedly hung up on me, and they even generated new policy documents after my call--clear fraud. They refused to refund me after charging for a full six-month term. Even in person, canceling was a struggle. Signing up is easy, but canceling is nearly impossible.
