YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS. Horrible customer service from both the local agency and the 800 general number. I called a week in advance to update my car insurance policy for an accurate quote for the next six months coverage.The CS person from the 800 number that started the process did not add my son, so the quote was incorrect. Not able to solve the problem, she transferred me to the agency which I have called first, but it seems that when the local agency doesn't answer it gets automatically routed to general customer service. I explained to a lady from the agency my problem and at the end she was also not able to add my son because the CS person did't do the process correctly, however her concern was not trying to solve my problem but rather to make sure that I gave her a good rating about her service, solving the issue was not her priority. All companies and employees should know that when you receive bad service it reflects on the entire company. Since due to Allstate incompetence I had to wait almost a week to add my son I decided to shop around to have an alternative to the Allstate quote. While shopping for the quote I found a better quote for my two properties which I also had with Allstate so I decided to cancel all of them. Fed up with their customer service I canceled the insurance online on May 30 which was the last date of the car insurance, but I needed to be transferred to a chat conversation, I waited to get an answer they never connected, obviously a system glitch on their website so I called the agency and they did not answer. I called again on May 1, but they did not respond so my call was routed to the 800 number and they said it will be canceled on May 2. I told them what had happened and I was told they would escalate my problem and should get a response within a few hours but it never happened. I called again to the office and left a message for the second time and finally someone called me back saying that they were having power outage problems. I explained my situation and they canceled my auto quote but they did it for May 2, so I need to pay $9.11. Having different answers from the 800 number I decided to only talk with the local agency. The agent I spoke to was a lady named Jasmin Villagram. She asked for the declaration page, which I sent to her the same day she sent me a message stating that my auto insurance was already canceled. I replied to her stating that I already knew it was canceled. The problem I had was that they canceled my quote for May 2, and I needed help with the balance they wanted me to pay when they put the cancellation date on May 2. I contacted the agency again and asked for the office manager. I spoke with Daniel and he also told me he will look into it and I never got a call back or a resolution but instead today I got a bill that I owe them $9.11. I know $9.11 will not make me poor but why pay these multi millionaire companies because of their errors. Bottom line: YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS as their logo states this is actually one of the worst companies you can find. When I finally was able to talk to someone it was only for the person that answered to argue with me and threaten me with a collection disregarding the fact that I have cancelled on the 30th. You do not get better quotes having properties and autos together with this company. People should shop around for better quotes. You just need to invest time but it pays off, you save money which is better than paying high rates and getting HORRIBLE SERVICE. read more

I've been insured with this agency for over a year now on my home, cars and boat and have had great service from their in-house service team. Had a rate increase this past year like everyone else is going through and they were able to find some discounts for me that mitigated the increase. The reps there are always polite and efficient which is more than I can say for many other people I deal with on a daily basis. read more

The Brimberry Allstate Agency is by far the BEST Allstate agency in the Houston area. I'm sure it's the best in the state of Texas! I've had my home and autos insured with them for years. I always recommended my family and friends. When I purchased my policies I was well educated. All of my policy questions were answered so that I could understand my coverage and all I would be paying for. Their customer service team have been outstanding to my family and I every time we have questions when our policies renew. I definitely recommended this agency to anyone shopping for new insurance. If I could give this place a zero I would. Or maybe even a -3. We've been emailing,texting, calling and trying to get a hold of them. They won't meet with you in person. You'll never talk to the lead broker. They took over from our existing agent and nobody even gave us a courtesy of telling us what was happening. Then they raised our rates. I've been an Allstate customer since I was 21 and now I'm 60 and I've never experienced such terrible customer service in my whole life. And when I tried to call Allstate corporate they wouldn't talk to me saying I wasn't on the account when I have just spoken with their people three weeks ago. I've been trying to cancel renters insurance in Lubbock since before it's for the Fourth of July. The Allstate app sucks too. When you click help it shuts it down. After being a Allstate customer for 30 yrs I canceled my policy today. I had a flat tire and used motor club and guy couldn't get tire off my car. Said I need a tow to tire shop. I left it at gas station overnight and next day went back to get a tow and was told I don't have roadside assistance coverage even though I did night before. Spoke to several agents and got nowhere. Tried calling this office and never got a call back or an answer. Ended up having to enroll with AAA and spend &140 to get a tow. Allstate owes me my money back and my whole family is now leaving this incompetent company after being a faithful loyal customer for 30 yrs. this agent office sucks !!! read more

I was looking for car insurance quotes and received an email from Tiffany's office. She seemed professional and personable by email so I wanted to inquire on a rate. It took me a few weeks to call back with work and such but I finally called this week. When I called I got Margaret or Margo I think her name was and she badgered me with all kinds of questions and tried to correct me on my insurance history and driving record. I had a blemish on my report from a small incident last year but she was very persistent on how "this would affect me" and frankly, I didn't call to be told over and over about my record, I called to get a quote. She insisted I had a lapse in my coverage which was not true. After 15 minutes I told her I had to walk into my work meeting and asked her if she could provide the quote. I was already annoyed with our conversation but figured I already had her on the phone. She said she would get it to me by email. Still waiting for this quote. It's been a few days. To be quite honest, I was put off by how she handled our call. If this is how all new customer inquiries are handled I don't want to have my insurance handled by this office. Maybe she needs additional training but I don't believe this initial conversation was handled correctly and I used to work for an insurance office. I know how it's done! read more
