Horrible customer service. As a lot of people mentioned already. Rudy was our representative and she was very unprofessional. When we first walked through the door. She told her coworker she couldn't take us because she needed to leave early. However she was told it was her turn to take the next customer. I've never walked into a business and be treated in this manner. However we needed insurance right away and decided to buy insurance here. Worst mistake ever! Price is not too bad but customer service needs a lot of improving. If you are expecting a refund it will be hard for you to get them back. I cancelled with their insurance 1 day after. I already paid everything and was told i will be receiving a refund its been a month and I'm still waiting. I called customer service they then started saying words to buy time but once you throw in some knowledge and actual paperwork, they will hang up on you. 3rd time they did this. Was there this past weekend, customer service was awesome. Teresa and Sergio(manager) have excellent customer service skills. I got there late and they never pushed me to make a decision on what type of insurance I wanted. Teresa took her time explaining me the different coverages with great detail. Yes, I would recommend them to my friends. Update 3/07/15 Had to go back to their office for a technicality and Sergio sent it out of the ballpark one more time. Went in today for a policy renewal and to check on an sr-22. Yoland Bonilla helped me out and was VERY informative of what was going on. She went the extra mile to ensure that I got all the discounts that I qualified for. She even recommended some tips for future discounts as well. Came in a month ago to get a quote for car insurance and was assisted by an agent named Dainese (hope I'm spelling it right) . Anywho she was very nice and very helpful. I had a whole lot of questions, being this is my first time actually trying to understand fully the different types of insurance coverages, and she answered everyone of them in layman's terms lol. So I really appreciated that because previously at other establishments I have left not understanding anything that was discussed. So I really appreciated that. How do I stat to say that I have never been treated so bad by a company in my life. The first thing I have been with freeway for about five years. When I went add a car they told me that I would have to change my coveage. this was the long beach freeway on wardlow street. I started getting calls from the lender that I didn't have insurance. so I contacted freeway and spoke to Ana garsea . she never bothered to call me back or follow up with me in regards to the problem. Then I got a call from the lender my car was ready for repo pickup due to no insurance. that I already paid for and thought that I had. I would anyone that are looking for insurance to stay away from this company. If I could give them a zero I would. Don't ever go to this insurance brokers again! They are rude, conniving and thieves! They arranged for us to have full coverage on both of our cars but, we had to pay $500 down. We could not afford that so they negotiated with us to pay $267 down on 1/25 out of my debit card. On 1/23 two days earlier, they tried to debit our account, which there was no money so I was charged a $35 dollar overdraft fee. I called them back and they lied and said I agreed to the $500 so they are going to keep on debuting my account even after I called the insurance company and canceled my policy! They threatened to report my to the law enforcement of Orange County for writing a bad check!. They were rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional! They are money hungry liars! DONT EVER TRUST THEIR WORD OR THEM. I went down the street to Farmers insurance and got the same quote and only had to pay the first month payment to get a great policy. Just and FYI,they are still calling us and threatening us. read more
