Freeway insurance has poor customer service, I called multiple times and every time I was passed around like a basketball and eventually disconnected. The last time I called on 6/3/2025 to cancel the coverage of my car insurance, again I was passed around and finally disconnected. I called back and I was told it would cost $50 to cancel my auto insurance over the phone. That's a bunch of horse manure. I ended up finding a corporate store that would cancel the insurance policy. I found myself coming to this Freeway Insurance firm after I had a couple questions on my insurance policy. About 5 minutes after coming in I was made aware of a multiple ways I could inexpensively add mcuh more protection to my auto policy. I was even made aware of the inadequacy of my previous agreement. Specifically, JAMIE WALKER has gone over the top to ensure that I drive protected and covered for the remainder of the policy! As an 18 year old service worker and college student, Im simply not too educated on the world of insurance. This makes it easy and common for agents of all sorts to try to take advantage of my ignorance. Jamie took away any doubts that I had almost immediately, she made sure I knew the ins and outs of what I was signing on to. The whole experience was just great and didn't add any stress to my plate. Honestly if I could give it 0 stars I would. I regret getting car insurance through them. I needed to change my deductible so I called customer service and I was told I had to drive to Western General to change it. So I drive 2 1/2 hours there just to find out I need to go to a freeway insurance office. So I drive back to Lancaster in traffic that takes 4 hours and I get to Freeway Insurance. After spending $80 on gas that day and completely waiting my time I then had to PAY A FEE of almost $40!! I wouldn't recommend this shady insurance, they have complete lack of accountability. read more

Came in today for a quote, And wasted an hour and a half Agent had quoted me $156 monthly payments with $157 down payment for two cars, full coverage. But she said she couldn't start the policy until I bring both cars in to get pictures taken So I called my son to bring in the xtra car in as I wanted to get the policy started ASAP Once my son showed up with the car, she said she had to run our driving record, she had already input my personal info in the system and had already quoted me.. To make long story short... when she "runned " the driving record, payment went up to $191 a month with $669 downpayment! Reason that hubby had just gotten his driver license! By this point I was already irritated that she had quoted me a different price and makes me bring in my other car and then gives me a total different price after! I said no thanks! She brings boss in to work on the policy and gives me one with $387 down and $157 monthly but tells me that if I get in a car accident within 60 days, my deductible of $1000 would go up to $3000! WTH!?? No thank you again! How can I trust this company when I was lied to since I walked in. Untrustworthy, unprofessional! Wouldn't recommend this place to no one!
