I had some issues from the insurance paperwork I had gotten from a different branch of Freeway Insurance that I needed to handle some things at the DMV. When I got to the DMV I saw that there was a discrepancy with what I was told at the other branch and the broker Rony Lara went out of his way to try to help me and make sure my issue was revolved as this was an urgent matter. His car broke down and we junked it. We called him ack and wanted the SR22 only, and my son was told he can't do that. Instead of offering to cancel and give him a SR22 inoperable policy. If I could give Freeway ZERO stars, I would. Do NOT trust them and do NOT pay their broker fees. They lie and pressure you to buy their insurance. Do NOT go with Freeway. Cancelling a policy with them is VERY difficult and they never can tell you how much you're going to get back if you're going to get anything back at all. I had the policy for two days and even though I cancelled it on the second day and signed the paperwork on the second day, they didn't cancel it until the next day. I told them I paid for AAA and didn't need tire coverage, but they charged me for it anyway. A customer service rep at Freeway rudely told me that I should have seen it in my contract. However when I was electronically sent the contract I was told I had to sign everything quickly or I'd be driving without insurance. At that time my daughter was in her car driving her brother to his soccer game. I was worried if I didn't sign it quickly as the broker said, she would be driving uninsured. The broker knew my concerns and it seemed that the broker was acting in my best interest, but now I just feel stupid. I was scammed. I am out $400 plus dollars in broker fees. When I asked Freeway what the broker fee exactly was in dollar amount, they could not give me an exact number. When I asked to see the documents I signed, they refused saying since the policy was cancelled I couldn't see the documents. When I opened my policy with Freeway, it was a Saturday. All other insurance companies were closed, so they were the only company answering calls. I had many questions. I needed to change my auto insurance policy in order to save money. Freeway, which I initially didn't know was a broker, promised me they could see all other insurance companies and guaranteed I was getting the best price because they were doing the comparing for me. On the following Monday, Allstate called me and quoted me for much better overage at a much better price. I'm barely surviving and now I've got $400 plus leaving my bank account for terrible, uncaring service from Freeway. read more

Credit card fraud committed after I shared by bank details, the person purchased 1500$ in Ticketmaster with my details. And by the looks of it it's not the first time. They told me the policy was going to start off at 269 first month and then 90 after, they keep calling me 8 times a day harassing me to make an unexpected 200$ payment I never agreed on. I went by the office spoke to a very nice guy that gave me some phone numbers, now called the phone number and I canceled the insurance without a problem. I think the problem is the broker!!! He called me after I had already spoken to someone at freeway insurance and I told him I cancelled the insurance he said he doesn't care I still have to pay and he threatened me I wouldn't be able to get insurance anywhere else if I didn't pay this unexpected fee. Following a vehicle accident, I requested a policy cancellation from my agent, Steve. He explicitly promised to handle it and get back to me, but instead, he completely ghosted me. His failure to act in a timely manner resulted in me being charged for weeks for an insurance policy on a vehicle I could no longer use, causing me significant financial strain. I attempted to reach management at this specific location to rectify the situation, but those efforts were fruitless. I was only able to get the issue resolved after being connected to a different agent, Luis Alfonso de Santiago, who handled the task flawlessly and immediately. While I appreciate Luis's professionalism, the lack of accountability from the rest of the team and management in Azusa is unacceptable. Their website is designed to provide fake quotes and they even take bank your account and routing number before making you sign a contract that is apparently worthless. I once broke down and was told that they had no man power at the time I had to stay in my car until they found someone, which they couldn't find anyone. I called a tow truck from Fresno to come to Visalia to get me. Was put in hold a least ten times , and still no help. Today I get a text to renew my insurance..mind you I just sent a payment for April in which was received on the third of April. Still being told that I'd have to send money for the renewal..what the blank is going on. So what happened to the $92.83 that I just sent ??? Are you actually going to just take my money. Hi, I started to fill out a form but stop. I kept getting calls and texts and I asked them to stop. I then got muliple calls from Veronica harassing me ( literally back to back). I didn't even have the form submitted and they kept reaching out. I then asked them to stop and Veronica proceeded to call back to back 5 times between 1100-1103am. I then called and asked to speak to a Supervisor and she said there is only person here, I then called back and couldnt get through on the english line so I selected the spanish line and I was able to get through however that person "transfered me" but actually ended the call. Stay away! I purchased a policy from one of their brokers over the phone and the broker stole my credit card information and made numerous fraudulent charges on my card! I have filed a police repot and called freeway to inform them of the felony. They told me they would investigate it and right now this broker is still working for them when she should at least be suspended during the investigation! read more

And then when I asked about changing my due date last week that was not an option and they had no real good reason as to why. I never received anything from them in the mail so I never had AID card so when I got into my accident I needed to call them to report it and I could not do so because though because they connect you to the customer service no matter what you ask them if you call an office the office will connect you to customer service and the customer service auto replay will tell you to refer to your ID card so if I don't have my ID card then how am I supposed to refer to it and I keep going in circles and I'm not able to report my accident yet I accident yet and it's been 3 weeks and I've called every single freaking office And no one has been able to help me. read more

I called this company to get a quote and spent time on the phone giving all of my info including vin numbers drivers license numbers etc. After one employee took all my info, he said it would be a couple of minutes to calculate my quote. After a couple of minutes another employee got on the phone to give me my quote. He asked if I currently had insurance. When I told him yes, he asked why I was changing insurance companies. I told him I thought I could get a more affordable price. He told me that California prices had tripled because of inflation and that I would likely not get a better rate by changing. He asked how much I was paying currently, and I told him, "Id rather not say, I'd like to know how much you plan to quote me". He said, "Have a nice day" and he hung up on me!!!!! This company is garbage and obviously has no customer service or respect for potential customers. Avoid this company...I can only imagine how they treat existing customers who have claims!!! Disrespectful game players. I called 2 local numbers for Cost You Less insurance and get routed to Huntington Beach CA. Sales person asks me first off my date of birth and name. I questioned that why not auto info first and ask where am I calling which wasn't Pleasant Hill CA, I said I wasn't comfortable giving personal info to a different number than I called and i said never mind and ended the call. Sales rep calls me back with 877-672-6022 and says " you've been black listed" and then hung up the phone on me.
