I have never had such a frustrating experience with an insurance company. I called Freeway Insurance simply to change my deductible because my auto loan company notified me that my coverage was considered deficient and I was at risk of being force-placed into an additional $255 insurance policy. What should have been a simple request turned into a nightmare. I was hung up on SIX different times while trying to get assistance. When I originally called to update my policy after trading in my car, I was told I had to cancel my existing policy and start an entirely new one. This resulted in me having to pay an additional $750 just to keep coverage in place, on top of my regular payment that was due only two weeks later. The process and costs were never clearly explained. To make matters worse, I received notices in the mail stating that my policy was missing required vehicle photos. However, when I contacted customer service, they could clearly see that the photos had already been submitted and simply uploaded them to my policy themselves. So why was I being threatened with issues over documents they already had? The lack of communication, repeated disconnections, conflicting information, and overall disorganization caused unnecessary stress and wasted hours of my time. Insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind. Instead, dealing with Freeway Insurance has been one of the most aggravating customer service experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend Freeway Insurance based on my experience. read more

This is the worst place. They lie!!! They charge processing fees to process your payment, the charge late fees even though i paid on time. I am warning you NOT to get insurance at this place. You will be sorry. You have been warned as I wouldn't be so adamant about this if they weren't really, really terrible. read more

I called for a quote gave my vehicle identification number along with my drives license number to run my info and give me an exact price so I could pay without any surprises. She took all that gave me A SET PRICE just for me to call back and be told "you talked to the MANAGER Louisa ( or something around those lines) and she didn't run your information.. so the rate is now this...... I ASKED SPECIFICALLY to GET EXACT DOLLAR AMOUNT and they gave me false information and acted like they ran my info very upsetting. read more

Worst insurance ever!!!! Dave yourself stress an money. When i first called they told me my down payment was 180 an 65 a month for car insurance. They took 365 out of my account for a down payment an now charging me 108 a month for insurance.the contract they have you sign doesnt have any of the totals they charge you. They will literally rob you an the customer service is a complete joke. Everyone tells you something different.dont even bother with this place. You will definitely regret it. I did. I went in for a quote on an insurance policy & left with useful information. I already had a policy with an insurance company Freeway uses so I didn't make any changes to my policy. I was told I could go into this office to make my payments instead of making them over the phone. This way I could avoid the service charge the insurance company charges to make a phone payment ($8 phone fee). Today, I called Freeway on Truxel to confirm when my payment was due so I could stop in and drop it off. The first girl, Adriana, answered the phone & put me on hold to help me but instead transferred me to an automated line without telling me she was transferring me. A customer rep eventually picked up & put me on hold for 7 minutes before I hung up. The automated voice had told me there were zero calls in the queue so being on hold for so long made no sense. I called Freeway back hoping to speak to a live person & not be transferred back to the automated line. This time the girl who answered the phone didn't say her name & hung up on me when she said she was putting me on hold. Called back again & a gentleman picked up. I asked him not to hang up on me and please help me so he put me on hold and then transferred my call back to the automated line. I called Freeway back and the phone rang and was answered by hold music. Hung up and called back, same thing. They're not even answering the phone now. Unreliable, awful customer service when I had a very simple question. Look elsewhere for your insurance needs unless you want a headache. read more

I called the truxel branch and had an appointment with Robert. After setting the appointment he called me back clueless to who he called the first infraction. Since I called him people from this number (+1 (909) 465-4266) keep calling me. First couple guys I asked to stop calling then some bitch called me speaking Spanish then when I politely told her to remove my number I'll call freeway when I need their service she hung up. I called the number back and asked to speak to a supervisor she got all bold and disconnected the call again. Umm the bitch called me.. I'll probably report to the BBB and complain everywhere possible. read more
