Do not use this company; they reported the wrong vin number on our policy and now the DMV will not allow us to register the vehicle. I have been on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes and can't seem to reach this broker who created the policy. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! How do you work for an insurance company and NONE of the customer service reps know how to correct this issue and keep routing our call even out of state to New York when we live in California. She's pleasant and efficient, while sending documents on the phone, which required prompt signatures to complete the process. When I got off the phone with her, I was done updating my insurance, printed my documents at home and had no need to follow-up. I called freeway to make a change to my policy & the lady from San Bernardino office answered & right away transferred me to customer service. I was on hold for 42 minutes. I called the number again & told the lady I was on hold for 42 minutes she didn't let me finish just put me on hold without telling me . By this time I'm frustrated called again & another lady answered the phone . I explained what happened & she started to help me with removing a vehicle off my policy. She gave me my new rate but then tells me I will be charged 40 to remove my car which I wasn't happy about asked to speak to manager . She was very rude & had a condescending attitude . Which didn't sit well with me . What happened to good customer service ??? Just know they are NOT your insurance company! Some clown from this office called to tell me my policy that was due on the 2nd was canceled on the 13th due to non payment. Ok that's kinda quick for a cancellation but ok, he then tells me to restart my policy I need to make a payment equivalent to my original start up cost, basically 100 more than my monthly payment. I told him helllllllll no that's crazy, he said well then my policy is canceled because there is nothing he can do, period. I then remembered they are a broker so i called my actual insurance company bluefire, and their automated system reinstated my policy by paying my monthly bill and a $5 charge. These ninjas tried to play me outta 100 dollars, not cool, never mentioned I could call my company directly, they LUCKY they didn't trick me, cuz I would've went to the office and brought alllllll the smoke!!! He had to call Maggie over several times to help and she seemed very angry and hostile every time she came. This place is a joke. For the past month they have been harassing my phone. 3-4 calls at a time. I decided today to schedule and appointment and give them a change because I had the day off. Pretty much Patricia who I had schedule an appointment with tried to hustle me. Don't get me wrong I'm a business woman myself but seriously when her and according to Patricia her "manager" yell "BS" when I told them the dealer where I had purchase my car had payed my down payment for my insurance. Save yourself some time, look a few other places but this is definitely not the spot. Freeway insurance might be okay but the rude staff at this location is by far the worst you will find. They are disgusting enough for me to have to write a review which I never do. The manager Jonathan is anything but a manager, and has no control over all of his employees. I called to get a quote and he gave me his number to call before I went in to purchase the policy. When I came in he was helping an upset customer so he had us wait. Then as time went by he started arguing with his employees whether who was going to write our policy. They started going back & forth that they each had things to do making me & my boyfriend feel uncomfortable. I offered to come back another day if no one wanted to help me and the manager said no. So eventually the manager left and had another girl finish with his upset client. The girl, upset that she had to stay, immediately called the other girl who got to leave and started complaining about how their unprofessional manager left unfinished paperwork somewhere on his "messy-ass desk" & how it wasn't fair that she had to stay. If it is your top priority to be out early for the weekend, do not advertise 8pm as your closing time then leave 2 hours before. I am upset I was supposed to get insurance today & after waiting over an hour, eventually me and another customer had to walk out because it seemed we were the problem for them constantly complaining for having to work. I won't stay if my business isn't wanted and definitely will not tolerate employees talking s*** on others who walked out knowing it will be the same when we walk out. I would hate for a location like this to continue losing customers for freeway insurance just because of this staff and as a manager believe your corporate offices need to take action.
