I was requested to provide photos of my property for my homeowners policy. They gave me the option of taking photos on my phone and sending that in, or having an agent come out to take the pictures. Please, please, please ask for an agent to come out. I used my phone. The app confirmed that they received all the info they needed. I called the next day and the person confirmed they had received photos. A few weeks later, my policy was Cancelled!! I called and they apologized and said they would take care of it. Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. It's now mid-January - this clown show started in August - and they still haven't got it straightened out. read more

Enough parking near building. Short line to check-in, you just show your AAA card, then they ask you what you need to do, I had to pay for my registration. Then they ask if you're going to pay your registration with cash, check or credit card. They only accept Visa or MasterCard, no debit cards. There was no one was in line for paying their registration. Was prepared with my registration form, they already can see in the system that I got my smog check done and passed, then paid with my CC. Got my new registration and sticker. Easy peasy.. in and out in 6 minutes!!! Now I call that quick service! read more

I went in to pay my annual roadside policy of $57. Not bad if you get a flat tire on the street or freeway or out of town. The facility itself is extremely busy, but the employees are super great --Stephanie helped my dad and I out with re-enrolling on our own plan, and she was informative in every way possible. Bad service when it comes to paying for your tags. The lady was rude and didn't know how to count. She tried to keep the remaining money then instead of apologizing instead blamed it on someone else's paperwork saying she got the numbers mixed up. On top of that she refused to give me my tags until I gave her last year's paperwork, saying that AAA has to keep last years tags in order to give me the current year. I told her that's a lie and says so online that they are not obligated or required to keep my paperwork. Such incompetence and they need to do better. If you want people to be more professional I'd suggest going to the Rancho Cucamonga location instead. read more

Came to help my boyfriend get a handicap placard. Got here at 11:25a, checked in, and was told to wait in the lobby. We've been sitting in the lobby for 50 mins, and bf went and asked how much longer and was told 3 more ppl ahead of us. Well, if they would help the ppl waiting for service that are sitting in the lobby , that have been waiting for an hour or more. before the ones coming in for registration. Came here about two weeks ago for a title correction as my name was misspelled and the attendant helping us seemed annoyed, frustrated, and confused like she didn't know what she was doing. After a while we got everything settled and she told me to come back in a week to pick it up, she even gave me a pink slip with what to ask for written. Came back 11 days later, and she was the check in attendant today. Let her know that I believed she had helped us previously & we were here to retrieve the corrected title. At first she gave me a rude look as if she didn't know what I was talking about and then, without even looking up our information, said, "I know it hasn't even been a full week. You're supposed to return in two weeks." She didn't even check the date of when we had originally submitted but shoo'd us away. Upon speaking with a different, more helpful AAA agent over the phone she clarified that the title would actually be shipped out in 4-6 weeks and we would not need to return back to pick it up. I'm just annoyed because the agent that assisted us (wish I could remember her name) looked visibly upset, annoyed, and tired both times we went. She gave the impression that she didn't know what she was doing and that impression was correct seeing that she gave us the wrong information, was unhelpful, and wasted our time. read more

I came in to get a disabled parking placard for my mom and wasn't expecting much of it, but Amia blew me away. Horrible experience! Never would recommend this insurance business. I recently cancelled my insurance. Brown insured me that my payment would go back to my card however this was not the case. I left multiple messages to her and the manager. I even called to see if anyone else could help and no one would call me back. I spoke to customer service and stated they could not do anything because they were not the original representative to assist me. I finally went in person as they said they cancelled it but in fact they did not nor my membership! This was months apart with all the back and forth. After a decade with AAA Auto Insurance, the time has come to part ways. In the time I've had insurance through AAA, I've moved a bit and visited many offices. My complaints aren't specifically with this particular office (the staff is at least polite enough, although maybe not competent and honest, it seems), although I'm experiencing the same issue here that has been my experience with all the other offices: for some incomprehensible reason, they simply NEVER can get my Annual Mileage right, whether I call them, use the convoluted website, or even visit in person. And since they can't record my mileage accurately, I can't trust that my policy rates are as low as they should be. Every. Single. Year, they mess it up, and I have to take the extra time to straighten them out. WHY is there such a problem?? On top of this increasingly-irritating issue, my auto insurance policy DOUBLED this year, despite my never having an accident or claim in my entire LIFE. I do realize that California has become an increasingly expensive market for insurance companies, and I was expecting a slight rate hike this year; some online reports suggested increases of 25-30% were likely. I was shocked to see mine DOUBLED. Now, I certainly could have found far less expensive insurance in the past decade. I continually paid AAA's rates for the peace of mind that I was insured with a reputable, member-focused organization. Yet after all the years and dollars spent, AAA is rewarding my loyalty with a kick in the teeth. I won't take it any longer. Like so much in this Liberal mess of a State, Law-Abiding citizens are punished for the crimes of those who flagrantly disregard the system, and are rewarded for it. If you can afford to have your bank account drained, so that the illegals, politicians and insurance companies can maintain their exploitive lifestyles, perhaps AAA Auto Insurance is right for you. I called earlier today and spoke with someone named Debbie and she was extremely rude for no reason. I just had some questions about my policy and she seemed bothered and impatient. When I tried to say something she was like "HOLD ON HOLD ON" in a very condescending tone. Her tone over the phone was very unpleasant and I felt like I was bothering her with my questions. As a AAA member you get many "discounts" to places. Well if you actually buy these tickets they charge a $32+ processing fee/taxes to these purchases and ends up being more than the actual place you are wanting to go. Skip using your AAA "discount/rip off" and buy direct. Fine print says zero refunds or exchanges after being ripped off. I've compared over 15 prices and NONE are a discount compared to the actual place! AAA advertising a discount is a complete lie. read more
