This is the best laundromat anywhere! Great staff, spotless facility, all equipment always working and free drying.

People always put bad reviews but you rarely see good ones, but here is one. I've been going to Freeway Laundry in EP for 10+ years. I did stop going here for awhile after they fired a lady by the name of Jen who was a great person and friendly. I decided to go back after a few months and low and behold they hired a new person to replace Jen. After a few weeks of being back, I will say they hired a great replacement for Jen. I think she is the manager, and I believe I heard someone say her name is Marie or Maria. Whatever her name is, she is great...very friendly and helpful when I have an issue with the washers or adding money to card machine. It's funny, but she has same work ethics as Jen, loading up machines with customers clothes then goes around and is either sweeping or wiping / cleaning machines. So, kudos to you you Freeway for hiring at least another good person to work for you! I just hope you don't get rid of her like you did to Jen (as after knowing her for 10+ years of going there, I think she was wrongfully fired, but anyways) please know this new lady in the mornings on Fri / sat when I do my laundry is a good pick for you!! read more

Recently, my dryer died.... with a pile of wet clothes in it. Womp womp. Amongst those saturated clothes? The uniform I had to wear the next day to work, the one and only one I own. I bagged my clothing up and went out on an evening search for a laundromat where I could simply dry my clothes. Who knew that could be so hard? One place said I couldn't just dry clothes. Really? To the next place I went. I eventually came across Freeway Laundry and boy am I glad I did. It could not have been simpler. I walked in, threw my clothes in a dryer, popped a couple quarters in, and had a pile of dry, fluffy articles within 33 minutes. Perfecto! Plenty of bench seating, flat screen televisions, vending machines (both with food and laundry supplies), a bill breaker, lots of laundry carts, and a great number of washers/dryers to go around. Staff were busy folding laundry and cleaning up. Lots of parking out front. No hassle, quick service, open late! I highly recommend this place for your regular (or emergency) laundry services. read more

This is the only place I'd ever bring my dry cleaning. I don't know what makes it nice or special, but I feel like whenever I go there, Jennifer is behind the counter making my experience wonderful. It's also much more affordable to bring my shirts to have them serviced here. Oh word to the wise, they use a lot of starch in general, so I usually ask for light starch and it does the trick. read more

I really love this little laundromat. The people who work there are so friendly and professional! Unfortunately, most of their customers could not care less about the current social distancing rules (clearly posted everywhere) and the laundromat employees do nothing to enforce the rules. I make sure i come during the slow periods on slow days, but I've still too frequently had people push past me to get to a machine instead of wait a minute (literally, one minute!) while I finish loading my machine. Today was the last straw. I was one of two customers in the whole place and the second customer shoved by me and refused to follow the social distancing rules because "it's inconvenient". I'm part of a high risk demographic, so until the Covid-19 pandemic is over or this little place starts enforcing the rules I will be going to a larger laundromat where it's easier to social distance. read more

This is a small laundromat, very limited parking and very busy. The afternoon/evening employees are nice and helpful and the other customers friendly, but the manager is one of the rudest woman I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I'll still go in, but not when she is there. The laundromat itself is clean, but cluttered. Plenty of seating, but you usually have to move a pile of newspapers or other reading material. Plenty of washers and dryers available, but very few folding tables and the place is really small, so they're all packed in. Prices are good for the area, washers average $4 up to I think around $7, but that's for a washer that you can fit a months worth of laundry in. I put 5 quarters in a dryer and got 40 minutes or close to it. So 3/5 stars is all it gets. and that's only because everything worked when I was there and the Spanish girl who works afternoons was friendly. If I had to deal with that rude witch again, I'd knock off all the stars. read more

I would agree with the other yelpers. Plenty of washers/dryers, but limited folding stations and parking spaces. I'd recommend trying the sister location in Providence. Parking is also a hassle at that location, but that location is far more spacious on the inside. read more

Nice little place. Clean, good machines and vending options. Also they have a bill breaker and a coin changer. Nice big TVs and a place to sit and wait. So I would recommend this place for sure. read more

Well, they just lost a long time customer after today. Dropped off clothes for their wash and fold service, 4 blouses are missing from my order! No one knows what happened to them, they person who did my order said she folded them - I never had anyone there fold my blouses, they have always put them on hangars. And to top it off the store I purchased the blouses from (2 of my favorites) no longer has them in stock and will not have any more arriving. No only will I no longer use their wash and fold service, I will look elsewhere to do my laundry and also to wash my car, since Freeway laundry and carwash are owned by the same people! read more

I like this place, but I don't prefer it. They are really good for bulky laundry, but is always crowded and the folding stations are very limited. I wouldn't suggest dropping off here, though; I've done it twice and I lose a lot of clothes that way. It's the latest opened in EP, so that's a plus. read more

I have used their wash, dry and fold service on and off for the 11 years I've lived in RI (minus years i had laundry at my apartments). Out of all those years and dropping of laundry weekly, I've had 2 little hiccups which were corrected right away- never any damaged or lost items. Jennifer, Maria and Jacky are incredibly helpful, accommodating and friendly. I recommend them to everyone! read more

had issues with this place I use to always come here and never had one up until the day before xmass eve 2016. put not one but two cups of soap in both washers and no soap just water in the washes when my clothes where washing the Spanish lady had a really bad attiude and told me theres nothing they can do about it I had to bug her to come look at the washers her self so she can see she said since I used TIDE it does not get soapy.... i laughed ive been useing that for years and the water gets soapy with suds.. went back there two days later and the manager had givin me another wash for my baby's clothes and the wash washed rite SOAPY with SUDS .. came back to pick up the clothes and put them in the dryer and the Spanish lady had putting my clothes in the laundry cart in the middle of the laundry mat I had to look for the clothes and some shirts that belonged to pants where missing I had told her next time please don't touch my clothes and she claimed there where no other washes for other people when I clearly seen plenty others open and empty. she had touched my clothes after the manager left.. on 1-2--17 my boyfriend wanted to go back there after I had said NO WAY .! he went anyway so he went back to pick up my daughter's car seat cover and highchair cover.. AGAIN the babys 's was out of the wash and he had to ask where it was.. also one of the clips to the carseat cover is missing.. it was the size of my index finger.. she claimed it muist have fell down the drain.. she claims my boyfriend left the clothes there for over an hr she took are clothes out once again beacuse there was no washers when again we seen plenty of OPEN WASHERS.. lol I guess the clip and the soap went DOWN THE DRAIN along with my money.! my upstairs neighbor also came here last week and they over charger her credit card and the washers wouldn't spin she had washed her clothes in.! also another friend of mine had an issue woth them last week.. the Spanish lady with the blonde hair has such an attiude and clearly she is a ball buster and I'm not the first nor last to say it.. just because its not under a revew does not mean it dosent nor didn't happen.!! this place BLOWS..!! read more
