I recently entered a dental plan with way more provider options, and had the luxury of choosing where I wanted to go. I chose this office based on the glowing reviews on other platforms. They were right. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment (a cleaning.) They were very thorough during the cleaning, and super kind. It turns out I had two cavities so I had to come back for two more visits. The procedures both went super quickly and I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Gallup is a delight. She is seriously so kind and warm. She starts every visit by explaining what she'll be doing procedure-wise and gives updates during the process so you know what to expect. No one tries to upsell you on anything. Of all the dentists I've ever been to, they've been the most helpful in guiding you with tips on how to take better care of your teeth -- without being judgy. Administration is painless too. Easy to check-in, check-out, and get your next appointment scheduled. If everyone went here, no one would be afraid of the dentist. Seriously feel so grateful that I have the option of going here.

Dr Laura helped me when I was desperate to get a tooth extracted. After that, I trusted her to maintain my teeth, but what I ended up getting was more Issues, that were a direct result of her work. I came into her office in pain unable to eat, and I left her office still in pain, with no relief, no antibiotics, a charge, and a referral in hand. I'm not sure if she knew at that point she injured my tooth and did not want to admit to it, but the specialist she sent me to seemed to hint that the filling she did was the "root" of my problem.

In my experience at dental offices, no prior dentist I've had for a first time at their office appointment has ever attempted to start dental work i.e. cavities, root canals etc on the same day they perform a cleaning. Eastwood had the earliest availability out of all the dentists we called. Against my better judgement, I scheduled the appointment. I wish I had not. The leading dentist is a senior citizen according to my husband is overdue for retiring. After his teeth were cleaned, she then proceeded to drill into the tooth that he was experiencing pain in and left it exposed. What she did didn't stop his pain and only increased it. Twice over two weeks post cleaning he went back to them and each time he was charged for the visit, even though the increase in pain was due to this dentist drilling into that tooth and leaving the inflamed nerve exposed. In addition, one particular female from front desk staff was unprofessional and rude when questioned over the phone and in person when my husband kept complaining about the pain. It's as if they're friendly as long as you don't question the dentist's work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I did all the things, all of them Arrived to my supposed-to-be consultation with the dental proprietor of the establishment, to be served a cup of rinse. I rinsed. I spat. I sat awkwardly through 20 pictures of my teeth being taken by digital camera. I held the tongs when asked. My husband raised an eyebrow. I shrugged. I was there to discuss a plan for getting implants, as my teeth did not make it through terminal lung cancer as peppy as I did. When I informed them I was not there for the $149 super special super cleaning, confusion was thick. I said again, I was supposed to see the owner. Andrea said she works with the #1 implant specialist in the country. I was stoked. We then waited 30 minutes for the dentist who showed up delightful, gentle and absolutely clueless to anything. She asked why I was there. I said to fix my teeth. She said what's wrong with them. I said there's only 7. She asked what I was specifically there for. Now less sure, I answered... expertise? On... dental... implants? Did no one... sigh. She excised herself to peer at my X-rays for the first time, and then said she would not be able to help me, but handed me a useless post-it where 'a firmer cancer patient like me can go to get specialized care for my cancer deformity.' Um. Those teeth were pulled in the 90's, back when sedation dentistry wasn't really a thing, and my dentist pulled anything that needed more than 10 minutes work because I had panic disorder. Unacceptable in the late 80's and early 90's. Point is, it was a waste of time, a schmooze to get me there and it was irritating because now my sedation dentist is like: appreciate what you have. And maybe that's it. I'll give him 23k because my deformity, whether from cancer or anxiety, doesn't bother him And he knows I'd absolutely smack him if he said I was deformed. Because what a douche to the ego High traffic. Very busy. It's dark. Addams family decor (black blinds with dark blue floors). Don't recommend. Unless that's your thing. Then go for it.
