Love this place especially the color changing spoons.

Love this place, they have speciality cocktails including boozy shakes and floats and a full coffee bar. Th store is super cute with a variety items from carved wood items,T-shirt's jewelry. The ice cream spoons change color, love that.

Neat little place. Pecan pie ice cream was delicious with chunks of pie in it. The spoons are temperature sensitive and change colors.

Super cute ice cream store inside a fun gift shop. They had some more unique flavors, and the price was reasonable. The workers were also super nice!

Duck and cover!! Yes it is hot out, so we ducked into a cool little spot and covered our tracks with some ice cream to cool us off. Ok, yeah cheesy but hey. Looking through the wood carvers store next door we couldn't help but see the ice cream. And it is good. With its unique ish flavors and good helpings the over all effect was good. I got the Mississippi mud. Chocolate and marshmallow fluff. Wife got the key lime. Both were good. The store was cool, lots of cool trinkets and stuff. Tshirts hats earrings signs and heck even whiskey pours. Cool to check out and worth a look. Ice cream - worth it Stuff - nice and unique and a little pricey but nice. Wood carvings T-shirts And about the only thing open on Monday

Honestly this place is pretty insanely good. Pizza, ice cream, high quality coffee and (decent) pizza. And they've added beer, wine and liquor to the menu. This is a must visit if you're hitting up the resorts.

Our Girl Scout troop chose to come her for . We sat outside enjoying the nice evening. Glad we did they made our 5 pizzas and breadsticks pretty fast we was very surprised. The pizza was very tasty. Loved the this crust/ flat bread. All 3 ladies working were very friendly and helped each other out. The inside was nice smelling and welcoming. No one was insides when we arrived. After the girls finished eating they wanted ice cream. 12 ice cream / ice cream and the girls loves the ice cream.

    Banana split and hot chocolate

Ice cream was good, a little overpriced. But it's handmade so I guess it's worth it ? I originally went for the hot chocolate which I wouldn't recommend at all something about it was off. The lady that took our order was super friendly and let us try whatever ice cream we wanted. The environment was clean and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I had two small children so we couldn't sit inside if we wanted to because the tables and chairs are super high . Overall I'd recommend this place if you want to spend $8 on a banana split.

We love this little Ice cream shop!! I have had the ice cream a few times, and it is delicious. Creamy, refreshing, and in generous portions with interesting flavors. We sampled the pizza on this trip, and it was SO GOOD. The style is a little unusual. It has a very thin crust that gets quite crisp, and all of the pizzas are single serving. This is untested, but it seems like you get as many toppings as you want without further charges. My husband had the standard pepperoni, and he loved it. I'm a lover of chicken wings, so I was excited to order the Buffalo chicken pizza, and it really hit the spot. Pretty spicy but not too overwhelming, cheesy, indulgent, and flavorful. I also really enjoyed looking around the artisan gift shop that is attached to this location. I found several Christmas gifts for family while waiting for my pizza. Overall, a really nice option for a quick dinner in French Lick. It is a short walk from the resort, and it is very family friendly. We will definitely be back, maybe even on this trip!

A great stop in downtown French Lick! It's right next door to the French Lick Museum and attached to the Bear Hollow Wood Carvers. In fact, Bear Hollow is the same owner so you'll see some great woodwork going on in French Licks too! Their tables and booths are handcrafted and they have some fun wood statues like Larry Bird and Groot. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the ice cream, but it was recommended to use by several people at the French Lick Resort. We were though on a mission for coffee and enjoyed an Americano and latte. They use local beans for their espresso and coffee drinks. They also serve pizza as well.

Yummy ice cream in an old fashioned and wood carving theme. I had one scoop of chocolate and it was super good.

Margherita pizza with added hamburger. Tomatoes don't belong here

My five star is for the ice cream side, the pizza side I will give a 4 star bc of the pre-made crust & putting tomatoes on a Margherita pizza. For what the pizza was, it was super thin crust, fresh mozzarella, and I wasn't mad at it. The ice cream tastes more like gelato, (which is a good thing), because of how light it was without being overly sweet. I would be here every weekend for ice cream if I lived here, and then walk it off walking through town.

Nom nom nom! If you are looking for a sweet, cold, refreshing treat to help keep you from melting while you are walking around French Lick, head in to French Licks for some delicious ice cream and sorbets. The flavors are unique and special with some like pecan pie, or key lime pie.. I mixed key lime with a cherry almond dark chocolate to create a cherry limeade cheesecake kind of sensation that really worked for me! Be sure to stop into the wood workers shop that is attached and has some cute, cool, funny, and quirky items for sale. Don't forget to ask for a military discount at both places! They honor our veterans with a discount

We decided to try out French Licks Ice Cream after dinner. I am so glad we did. This store is in the middle of a museum and wood carving store. This place incorporated various wood carvings into the decor of the store. They have some rather unique flavors like maple bacon Ice cream. I wanted to try out Mississippi mud Ice cream since it reminded me of north Tonawanda New York. We enjoyed the store and are glad we visited.

After navigating the charming but challenging rural byways-- which included horse-drawn buggies and flooded out roads--tourists from the north deserve a good meal when they arrive, and they will get one. My lunch companion chose a Reuben, which was served on delicious dark rye bread, along with a cup of fresh fruit. Yes fresh, not commercially prepared. I chose the 1/2 soup and sandwich. Flavorful tomato basil soup and half of a club on focacia? I believe. That was a little difficult to eat, but it tasted good. I chose French fries with mine, which were hot and plentiful. We both had iced tea which was fresh and good but we were never offered a refill. Service was efficient but not super attentive. The snack mix that arrived with water when we sat down was a nice touch. Oh, and did I mention the atmosphere in which we dined? Only the 8th wonder of the world. See it for yourself. Although this hotel seemed less popular than its nearby sister hotel, French Lick Springs, West Baden hotel was a better experience for a day visitor. We had a lovely day; well worth the trip.

We were seeking a buffet restaurant to eat at and for me, it had everything a buffet should have. Sure it is not one of those HUGE buffets that you would expect, you know? Extravagant water fountains. Chocolate fountains. Everything surrounded in glass to make it look more upscale? It; however, did have some highlights. The salad bar had many options and toppings including the pasta salad, which I loved. The main food was basically comfort: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, sausage with onion and bell peppers (DO NOT MISS THIS DISH and mistake it purely for vegetables, the sausage was hidden at the bottom), mac & cheese, and white fish. There were other foods; but they were not enough to be memorable. We had a long drive back to Louisville and Lexington and I decided to ditch any kind of diary in the food, just in case. Desserts were great. They had a pineapple cake and a chocolate cake, ice cream, pineapple, strawberries, and cantaloupe for the taking. Customer service was great. I got the steamed chicken and shrimp which came out smothered in teriyaki sauce and the shrimp were the most disgusting pieces of rubber I have ever encountered. Our service was great though.
