They were wonderful! I had gotten out of the hospital the day before with pneumonia and really needed pampering. I had my pedi and then they brought a shelf to my chair and did my manicure in the same chair so I didn't overdo it. I let the receptionist choose my nail color and it's bright and beautiful. I went in to get my acrylic set removed and then get a regular manicure. The nail tech started to file them off and then proceeded to chip away at the acrylic with clippers. I was saying that it hurt but he continued for a bit until I asked to have them soaked off. I was not happy with the finished result and to pay $23. I had a mani/pedi done and had requested regular nail polish. The technician recommended gel which is quick drying. I asked how to remove it and was told to just soak my hands in warm soapy water and I could just peel it off. Well, that didn't work. I called the salon and was told I needed to come back in to have it removed. I live in WI, so that is not an option. They refused to give me a refund. No other recourse offered. Overall decent place for pedicures, my mother in law, hubby and I all got one. My mother in laws was great (kudos to the guy that did her toes and massage) but mine was very so so. Fo start I was first told the color I wanted to wasn't a good choice, so I picked another but the application on one side was just poor. I can see spots that don't have as much polish and feeling it it's lumpy and not smooth. Not what I would expect from a professional gel nail application. As for the pedicure portion nail and cuticle trim it didn't not seem like they paid a lot of attention to it and went through the steps fast. Great experience! I was referred to this place from a local. My husband and I just moved to the area and I was looking for a place that gives a great pedicure. I was not disappointed! They give a nice long massage (which is what we're all really in it for right?) and they separate the pedicure chairs into the back room. This is a nice touch for me because you can't smell those nasty acrylic nails at all! It's also quieter in the back. Both people who did mine and my husbands pedicure were very gentle and kind. The only thing I would say is it would be nice if they offered a refreshment. But truly, it won't deter me from coming back again. read more

I had a wonderful experience here the first time I came. This was the only place I found in town that did the dip nail polish! Easy to make an appointment, nice interior, and great location. The first time I got them done my nails lasted the expected 3 weeks, and then I slowly removed them myself. I went back a couple of weeks ago to get them done before a wedding by the same person, and I had huge chip, like half of the polish came off (pictured below) within 5 days. All my nails chipped so much and were so loose, I was able to peel it all off within 5 minutes after only having them done for 6 days which shouldn't happen :( (also pictured). I would have gone in to ask them to fix this, but I was out of state for the wedding and just wanted them done for this event which unfortunately did not happen. They were busier and seemed more rushed the last time I went due to a staff who did not come in so I'm Not sure if this had something to do with it. I was excited to try this place because it was recommended by a friend. However, the woman who did my nails was not friendly and kind of aggressive. For example, she told me to put my hand in the UV light for my gel manicure, which I did, but she decided not to believe me and came around to my chair and grab my arm and try to force my hand in the light box. My hand was already in the back of the light box so her doing that was pointless. After my manicure was over I found it was messy with nail polish on my skin and little fuzzy things stuck within my manicure. Overall this was not worth $31+tip and I do not recommend and I would love my money back but I know that will never happen. read more

Overall I had a relatively good experience. I called the day before to set an appointment and 45 minutes before my appointment they called me and told me to come in 15 minutes early (didn't really even ASK if I could, just told me to). So I got there early five minutes earlier (20 minutes before my original appointment) and waited for 20 minutes to get called back. Not a deal breaker, but definitely annoying. The man applying my acrylics was nice, but when he asked me small talk questions he didn't really listen to or respond to my answers (all responses were "yeah." "Okay.") once again, not a deal breaker but kind of annoying. I didn't get the design I wanted (which is whatever, at least he was honest that he wouldn't be able to do it well) but the actual deal breaker for me is that one of the nails isn't applied right. It's pinching the side of my finger and I can tell that part of it isn't stuck on right because of how it lifts when I use it. They look nice, but I won't be coming back. read more

I am confused by all the great reviews, it's been a week since my awful experience where my nails were destroyed. I went in wanting a simple manicure and polishl. I am not good at shaping my own nails, so I always have them done at a salon. My daughter and I wanted to try a new salon so we read the reiviews for this one and chose it. My nails were clipped with a nail clipper and never shaped. Gel was pushed on me instead of the regular type polish I always use, now my nails look tashed after the gel has all chipped off after only 6 days. All I wanted was a simple manicure and polish. I would name the woman who did this, but I won't because I don't feel right about it. My nails will hopefully return to health, I however will never return to this place and if they had any ethics would refund my money. read more

I went to get a pedicure done today to treat myself to a little self care day & Ive been to this nail salon before so I didn't think I would be so let down. This new girl, Penelope or something like that, was the one to give me such a bad pedicure service today. The first thing she does is clip my skin way too high up, making me bleed & she's was trying to make it stop for at leasttt 20 minutes. I am new here and I have been searching all over this area for a nail salon that could do a set of "Pink and White Dip Nails with tip extensions", this salon did an excellent job! I was in the process of having my nails done at another salon, when I had to get up and leave before she finished because she was doing them incorrectly and they looked horrible!!!! Ok, so I have been going here for a couple months now. My review is based on one person, so be mindful of that. I was going to Tina, and she was great, but then a couple days ago I really needed to get a quick appointment because I'm a grad student with a massively busy schedule and I just had to take what they could give me. Kevin did my nails. They look ok, but he put them on extremely thick (which is bad), and he didn't shave the underside of them correctly, so they're just blunt at the end instead of sharp like they should be. Here's the part that really sucks: He actually sliced into my finger with his tool, pretty bad. It was on the under side of my nail (on my thumb) so it's really hard to clean, and now it's infected... So that's cool. And then on top of that, he still charged me for the manicure (even though I was bleeding all over the place), $32. I'm definitely disappointed in this, cause I really liked this salon... I would suggest that if you were planning on going, DO NOT schedule with Kevin. read more

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT; they aren't quite staffed to reliably serve walk-ins. $30 for a basic pedicure is just pushing into the pricy zone for me, but the jury is out on how well it lasts--if I'm set for the month then I'll be reasonably pleased. I do think that my cuticles could look a bit better, but am willing to let that go if the polish stands up. The most surprising thing was the fully 15-min leg and foot massage; I never received that so thoroughly before and it felt GREAT! The setting was nice enough: certainly not the fanciest nor the most divey salon I've ever been in. And as was pointed out earlier: the pedi chairs are back away from the smelly chemicals, and it's a bit hard to find - tucked into the middle of the mall. All said, neither the best nor the worst salon I've been in, and if it lasts, I'd probably go back. UPDATE: am demoting from four to three stars because the polish didn't last as well as I would like (maybe because they don't use light to "cure" the topcoat?). A really good pedi can last a month without touch-ups--at just over two weeks, I'm in desperate need for another. Will try another salon this time. read more
