I normally don't write reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience with Dr. Mamaram…read moreCeesay at MacArthur OB-GYN in Irving, so that other families--especially first-time parents--can be warned. My wife started her prenatal visits early in her pregnancy and was assigned to Dr. Ceesay. From the very first visit, things felt wrong. Dr. Ceesay was routinely late, showed no interest in answering questions, and often made us feel like our concerns were a burden. As first-time parents, that was devastating. At one point, Dr. Ceesay told us we were fully covered to deliver at Baylor Scott & White in Irving, and we trusted her. But when my wife later had a fall and needed an emergency checkup, we went to Baylor Scott--only to find out later from Dr. Ceesay that we were not covered there at all. She suddenly said we'd have to deliver at a hospital in Bedford, over 90 minutes away from our home, and told us that was our only option. When we expressed our concerns, her tone was cold and dismissive. At our 39-week appointment, she asked if we wanted to schedule an induction. We said we'd prefer to wait until 40 weeks. She agreed and said she'd see us next week. At our 40-week+3 appointment, she asked if we wanted a "sweep" but didn't explain what that meant. We declined because we didn't understand. After we looked it up outside the clinic and realized it could help initiate labor, we immediately went back in to ask for it. Dr. Ceesay refused, saying we'd need to book another appointment and left. We then asked her to schedule the induction. She said, "You declined last week, so now they'll fit you in whenever they want." No guidance, no support. At this point, my wife was past 41 weeks, and we had no idea when or if she'd be induced. We tried calling the clinic, sending portal messages, and leaving voicemails. No response. The front desk even hung up on me--twice. I eventually called the hospital myself. They confirmed that they were unable to reach Dr. Ceesay or her medical assistant, despite multiple attempts. After days of stress and no help from the clinic, we were finally scheduled for induction at 41 weeks and 4 days. When my wife was admitted, she had to undergo an emergency C-section--the umbilical cord was wrapped around our baby's neck, and we nearly lost him. We spoke with clinic management afterward, and they promised a follow-up within 3 days. It's been weeks. They never called back. Dr. Mamaram Ceesay's care was negligent, cold, and dismissive. She ignored our messages, abandoned us past 41 weeks of pregnancy, and showed zero compassion. If it wasn't for our own persistence and the hospital staff, we could have lost our child. If you're considering MacArthur OB-GYN in Irving--especially as a first-time parent--please think twice. The lack of communication, professionalism, and urgency could cost you everything.

I emailed them copies of the payment transactions from my bank that verifies the payment and eventually was told on the phone by another CH representative that my policy was reinstated or active, the bottom line is that they had the money and still canceled my policy, someone in that office was not doing their job, and this one phone assistant said that they still are having technical issues with their portal for online payments and that I would have to call back and speak with someone next month to make my payment by phone. What they are doing in billing does not make sense!

I have been ignored , and no follow up , has been done to say what action was taken.

My primary care doctor has been Dr. Bryan Wasson, DO for nearly five years now…read more When I first found Dr. Wasson, I was working in a miserable working environment that was not only miserable because of the hostility of the workers but the unreasonable use of the Air Conditioning at 62 degrees year round. I ended up with bronchitis and walking pneumonia three times in six months. Here is why I give Dr. Wasson 5 stars. He is one of the few doctors I have ever consulted with who actually realizes we might know a tad about our own bodies. What a concept? Right! Here is where we found this realization. I have been susceptible to chronic bronchitis for most of my life, an affliction I share with my mother. And both of us, over the years have figured out that there is a tell-tale sign of impending doom... a metallic taste in our mouth that won't go away. The first time I went to see Dr. Wasson, I complained about a metallic taste in my mouth. He gave me an antibiotic, a weak one and sent me on my way. Two weeks later I had full blown bronchitis that was borderline walking pneumonia. This time he gave me a couple of shots and some medicines to get me well. He wrote this metallic taste phenomenon in my chart. Every time since then, I just call and say I'm tasting metal and he gives me the full treatment before I have a chance to get really sick. Only once have I been given a prescription from Dr. Wasson where he didn't give me a sample or a coupon. And that one time was one of those days I was thoroughly glad to have such a great doctor! I had full-blown food poisoning. I had been attempting to take phenergan for a couple of days to no avail. I had both suppositories and pills. So this day Dr. Wasson gave me a prescription and sent me over to Las Colinas Pharmacy where they created a phenergan cream that I could rub on my arms. Because if you have been getting sick for 3-4 days you have to be able to get the medicine in you where it will stay, if you catch my drift. Dr. Wasson's office has always been able to work me in anytime I was sick...and they were very quick and thorough when I needed to have my pre-op screening to make sure my heart, my lungs and everything else was healthy enough for brain surgery. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Wasson if you are looking for an internal medicine doctor.

I'm extremely frustrated with my experience today. I went in for a scheduled breast ultrasound,…read morewhich I've routinely had six months after my mammograms as part of a long-standing high-risk monitoring plan. I've been doing annual mammograms since I was 35, so I'm very familiar with the process. I explained that I'm due for my next mammogram next month and simply wanted to proceed with the ultrasound today and wait on the mammogram. My reasoning was straightforward: if something shows up on a mammogram, it's typically followed by an ultrasound anyway. I was just hoping to avoid additional radiation for the time being. Instead of respecting that, I was told it was "protocol" and that they would not perform the ultrasound unless I also agreed to the mammogram--despite the fact that I'm not even due for it yet. While one staff member acknowledged my concern about radiation, the final decision from the doctor felt rigid and dismissive. At that point, it felt less like patient-centered care and more like being pressured into a procedure I clearly stated I did not want at this time. After 25 years of consistent screenings, I believe I've earned the right to have some say in how my care is handled. I ultimately chose to walk out. The experience left me feeling unheard, frustrated, and questioning whether patient choice truly matters here

All boxes were checked off. To start, you call to make an appointment. They were able to make the appointment within a reasonable time frame and at reasonable time. They ask you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to complete paperwork. I was promptly escorted to my room and given a robe (not a paper gown) to our on. Before I could even read two pages in my book, I was being escorted by the tech to get the imaging done. I think I was back in my car within 30 minutes of arriving. Then the next day I had an email with access to my results. You park in front of Baylor Scott and White. I didn't have any problems finding a space. Then you walk in to the medical building (not the hospital). They are on the second floor. When you get off the elevator, go to your left.
