Small but really nice. About 6-7 vendors selling a nice variety of veggies, fruits, flowers, meats, baked goods, and one selling cooked something-or-other for a meal to eat there. We will definitely be coming here again! Most of the items *we think* are locally-grown, but cannot absolutely verify this. This market is open year round on Sundays and in the summer they add Saturdays. The covered pavilion hosts a variety of vendors. Beyond farmers selling fruits and veggies there are vendors selling seafood, cheese, baked goods, coffee, jewelry, pickled veggies, jams, and illustrated note cards among other local items. The parking lot can be busy, especially in the summer months, but spots turn over quickly.

Was able to find enough fresh goodies for several meals. It is also a bit hard to find, even though there was a sign on the road, it was hidden behind a big parking lot and the firehouse. Cars were being prevented from entering the lot, probably because the lot was full. I kept driving a short distance and parked at Ducky's farm stand where I asked directions to the farm market (and purchased a few if their own goodies, to boot). You can grab a hot breakfast and brunch, empanadas, pies, donuts, coffee, vegan items, dips, fresh bread, flowers, tea, dairy meat and, of course, locally grown fruits and vegetables. I went to the market for some fresh baked bread and bagels. While I was there, I was persuaded to purchase a vegan sandwich and some organic vegetables. I had to stop myself because there were quite a bit of other things that caught my eye too. The market is set up right below the highway and was very easy to get to. There is a public parking lot right next to it as well as lots of street parking. I found the Instagram page for the market and the website to be very helpful and informative with information like times, vendors and explanations on how to arrive. All of this adds up for a uniquely Baltimore experience with something for everyone.

What I thought was going to be a small town farmers' market with only two dozen vendors was so…read moremuch larger than I expected. It encompasses Main Street and two other streets. It's open every Sunday May - September 9-1 pm. We got there at noon, so most of the produce was sold and some vendors were packing up and taking down their tents. The variety of vendors is amazing. Baked goods, booze, plants, veggies, and craft goods to name a few. I didn't see corn (too early) or peaches which is what I would have liked to purchase. Then... one vendor had left and returned with freshly (yes, just picked within the hour) picked strawberries. They were the sweetest and most delicious strawberries I have ever had in recent years. People were scooping up the limited supply four at a time! I bought one pint, but should have bought more. My friend bought two, and she bought some flavored olive oil for her budding chef husband. One of the plant guys sold her a large mint plant for $5 because it was the end of the day, and he was out of the small ($4) size she wanted. Plants were cheaper here than my local farmers, market just outside DC. I'll have to make a special plan to stop here the next time I'm at the beach.

I actually…read moredidn't know about the Farmers Market until I spotted one of my favorite dessert shops are vendors at this location. So what did I do, planned to go first thing Saturday morning! Located at the Crofton Library parking lot, parking for the Market is onsite - front and back parking lot options, street parking and the church across the street provides parking. Open at 8am - noon and food trucks until 2pm on Saturday's, I saw any and everything you could imagine. Farm fresh produce, pies, goats milk soap, freshly pressed juices, speciality cookies and cupcakes, and EMPANADAS! We were like kids in a candy store, so clearly everything I just listed, we purchased. All of the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The Farmers Market opens in May and closes for the season in November. My top 3 vendors, Sugar Butter Love, DMV Empanadas, and the Goats Milk Soap vendor - sorry can't remember their name. All had quality options to purchase. The Market has a website to check out the vendors that will be on display, as well as social media pages. I was impressed and will absolutely be back! Note to the wise, bring a reusable bag or two to collect your purchased items. I even brought an insulated bag for my hot/cold items.
