I really don't like leaving one-star reviews, but my experience here was really awful. Even though the menu looked like it had a lot of variety, people with nut allergies CANNOT eat here. The person at the front PROMISED that, even though almost everything had almond milk and nuts, she could substitute it with coconut milk and that I wouldn't react from cross-contamination. She also kept the granola off and added more fruit. I ordered an açaí bowl that seemed decent and had fresh toppings, but as soon as I took a bite, I immediately started reacting and had to throw it all away. The staff weren't very empathetic, and now I've wasted $15 and hours of my time managing this reaction. Eating out always has its risks, but I even told them I would be happy to go somewhere else if their menu and kitchen weren't safe for me. I hope in the future they treat allergies with more of a priority to prevent a life-threatening situation. read more

This was a total miss for me. I was really excited to try it and maybe I just had my hopes up and got the wrong base? I got the pitaya base, which tasted like ice and a bit of strawberry--no pitaya flavor at all. In fact, the color of it was a really pale coral with a bit of red flecks and ice bits. It made me so disappointed, I went to another acai place the next day. My partner got the acai base, and it was much better though I wouldn't say amazing (still icy and fairly bland), but at least it had some acai flavor. Needless to say, I didn't finish mine. The person who helped us was very nice and we had no issues with anything except for the pitaya bowl, which I guess is the main selling point. I'm hoping this was just a fluke, but I'm never coming here again. This was the worst pitaya bowl I've ever had, and I've had some pretty questionable ones. Come here at your own risk. read more

Once you're inside the shop it is an instant breath of fresh air. It's colorful, light, and airy! Totally a place anyone would want to hang out in and yet still so accessible for easy takeout. Fresh Factory Food: Okay so the menu is simple in that it is essentially a smoothie shop that also has a couple extras ('cado toast, salads, and sno balls). The names for the bowls are half the fun, although I swear I didn't choose mine based on name alone...okay so maybe I did. I ordered the Walking On Sunshine bowl, a spirulina base with goji berries, kiwi, banana, and blueberries. It was an energizing bowl of nature's candy that tasted more vibrant than it even looked! Avoid if you have food allergies. My daughter has severe allergies to milk, eggs and peanuts. We made sure to tell the person taking her order. She assured us that the Avocado toast (without eggs) and the açaí bowl that we ordered would be safe. It wasn't. My daughter took a few bites and began to feel really dizzy and nauseated like she was about to throw up and pass out. We asked for ice water and were told that they don't have ice and that we would need to go to the coffee shop next door to get a cup of ice. (They make smoothies so of course they have ice). We were able to get a cup of ice water from the coffee shop next door. We gave my daughter her allergy meds. The remainder of our day was ruined and I'm just thankful that my daughter didn't end up in the hospital. Problems: - Staff needs to understand the seriousness of food allergies and risk of cross-contamination. -Staff need to meet the needs of customers and not send them next door for ice. -Owner needs to have an adult on-site.
