    New and Improved!

The Frog Pond has been a breakfast/brunch staple since 1982 and after nearly a full years setback from the Hurricane Helene disaster has very recently reopened and is back in FULL SWING serving filling & delicious breakfasts & brunch of all types! The renovations put it back about to about exactly as I can remember and the Frog memorabilia that help make a visit memorable is all intact! The staff was very friendly and service quite prompt in accommodating our table even receiving a visit from the owner Luciano. Being perplexed by the extensive menu we took the servers recommendations and ordered "The Frog" Benedict made with house made Hollandaise Sauce with hash browned potatoes. The food was fresh, piping hot and quite delicious and there were so many great things on the menu, I feel we will be making regular visits! The Frog Pond is BACK and certainly hasn't missed a beat!!!

Who doesn't love a good diner with typical diner coffee. There's nothing quite like the frog pond being so close to the beach and still being a locals favorite. Upon arrival is was pretty busy, but I was seated pretty quick. It seems like they are turning over tables in double the time of typical diners. The servers were attentive to the table but definitely moving quick. The ambiance is hard to notice with the hustle and bustle of the place, and there's a lot of people in one place. The food was okay and typical diner food. I wouldn't say that the breakfast was anything to crave, but it was good.

In a touristy town, finding a restaurant that has all the look and feel of local can be challenging-but you'll get that here! Everyone was very friendly and we had very attentive service. The food was amazing, we got the frog & Neptune Benedicts and the Georgia waffle. I'll add my photos but it was all so good. The bacon is top notch!

My family just moved to the area & have been looking for our next fave breakfast spot & Frog Pond NAILED IT Luciano was & is always welcoming & just so freaking kind! Louis was the 1st person I got to know, & he ALWAYS makes us feel like were "home" & knows our coffee necessities before we even have to ask! My daughter fell in love with Jacqueline & Raina.. who are both PHENOMENAL servers! Ok.. let's get to the food lol .. The food is TOP NOTCH . The coffee is strong but not overpowering & we LOVE our coffee. My fave dish so far is the Monte Cristo Eggs Benedict. They had a special (when I visited before we made the permanent move) Tiramisu French Toast stuffed with Nutella (Jacqueline MADE the mascarpone if I remember correctly) & it came with coffee infused syrup!!! My husband loves the western & home fries...my daughter was so thrilled she had options between French Toast, waffles, AND pancakes with a variety of options for toppings!!! We literally CAN NOT rave ENOUGH about Frog Pond .

    Keto omelette...meat lovers actually

Excellent!!!! Had breakfast two days in a row...best restaurant on the beach...Great service also...I would recommend and will be back...

So glad to see the Frog Pond re-emerge following the storms of '24. The restaurant seems better than ever! The extensive breakfast menu, generous portions, and attentive wait staff maintain the quality of hospitality they have shown for years. The New Owner was gracious and working as hard as his staff to make everything flow smoothly on a busy Sunday morning. If you're a Frog Pond repeat, you may recognize him. He's been with the Frog Pond since a teenager, and was the manager prior to the storms. So happy for him, for his next level of success, and for those of us who love the Frog Pond!

    Newly remodeled after the storms.

SO good to see them open after the storms with a nice remodel. The Special is my favorite on the menu. Quality food and friendly staff as always. They retain the crown for best breakfast on the beach! Served until 2:00PM.

I was recommended this restaurant by a woman at the airport. She said "Best Omelette". She was right! Delicious! Ambiance is definitely old Florida vibes but cute. Deliciousness, big servings, friendly staff and a full belly!

My wife and her mother have eaten at The Frog Pond in the past, but this was my first time. I was not disappointed. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by Luciano. I made the assumption that Luciano was probably the host or manager; he greeted us and showed us to a table. Following that he stayed very busy, vacuuming, cleaning, and helping serve guests. I would later learn that Luciano is the new owner of The Frog Pond. This truly impressed me. These days most owners feel that they are above everyone else, particularly their staff. They typically like to manage, direct, really they like to do anything but work in the trenches with the troops. As a military veteran, I can say that Luciano exhibited what we call the quality of "lead by example". I hope that he is as good of an employer as he seems to be. Once seated we were served by Lindsey and Luis, two wonderful folks who did an incredible job for us. Truly, if I were a business owner I make every effort to steal them away from The Frog Pond. Lindsey and Luis were both very attentive (as was Luciano), very professional, courteous, and friendly. Lindsey and Luis are both great representatives of The Frog Pond, and Luciano should be proud to have such nice folks on his staff. My wife and I sincerely thank you Lindsey, Luis, and Luciano for your wonderful service! We will be back on our next trip to Redington Beach. Now to the food. Wow. The food was great. My wife had the Apple & Walnut Waffles while I had the Roast Beef Omelette. The food was terrific, the portion size was very generous, and it was all freshly made. The omelette was made with fresh mushrooms and onions instead of the canned type that most restaurants use these days. I usually love ketchup on breakfast potatoes, but truly that would have ruined the potatoes which came with my omelette. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned, tasted fantastic, and I could not bring myself to tainting them with ketchup. This says a lot, because I truly do enjoy breakfast potatoes with ketchup, but in this case that would have been a great injustice. I cannot wait until our next trip. God willing, we will be eating at The Frog Pond again. Attached are a couple of photos of our breakfast. Kinda like the ketchup on potatoes thing, I'm absolutely NOT one to take pictures of my food or post many reviews, but this had to be done. Thank you again Lindsey, Luis, and Luciano!

Indoor dining space is small, but the food is so worth it - order a bit of everything, take it home, and try something new is my advice. I'm Puerto Rican [grew up and lived there my whole life until young adulthood], so I can tell you this food is AUTHENTIC. Everything else we ordered was mostly fritters for a get-together, and EVERY single empanada was made-to-order and crunchy. We tried the crab/shrimp, beef, cubana. They were all TOP. Juiiiicy, with plenty fillings and a good size. Homemade taste was obvi. So tasty, every single one. We both wish our tripleta sandwiches had more noticeable "mayo-ketchup" pink sauce, though, to better balance the meats. But! Those meats were JUICY perfection in thay beautifully-caramelized crunchy-yet-soft fresh bread -- great size, too. My only disappointments were the yuca con mojo and sancocho soup. The yuca was oily & didn't have that traditional garlicky flavor and texture I'm used too. Felt too soggy and somewhat bland. The sancocho had good flavor, but way too thin -- not the traditionally hearty, root-vegetable-filled goodness I know and love. It was more of a gandules/bean soup w/ beef pieces than anything. I had ordered it thinking if my fiber intake and as a great veggie side dish, so I was a little sad. Still, all the food was great tasting, fresh, and just like a family member cooked it all for us. Best of all, customer service is *STAR* quality. So please, come and support this GREAT local business! We're def coming back. PS. They had a gorgeous coquí [local little toad] and garita 3-D-printed art, along other trinkets on display, which you can purchase and take home!

I ordered two eggs sunny side up, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes ($14.45). Everything was just right. The sunny side up eggs were glistening and perfectly fried, the bacon was easily 10 inches long and had no grease, the breakfast potatoes were brown and crunchy just the way I like them, and the sausage was spicy and tasty. In-N-Out in 25 minutes with time to go to the clean nuetral gender restroom as well. The small venue only has about four or five 2 person tables, most of their businesses is to go. But don't let that stop you! This is a great place to break your fast! Discount if paying cash. Upside App users get cash back.

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. The home fries were very yummy and crispy (which made the boyfriend super happy). The star of the show was the country fried steak and gravy .... Omg .... So tasty!!! So tasty, in fact, that in spite of many other breakfast options in the area, we chose to go there again the next day. This time we ordered the biscuits and gravy (w scrambled eggs and home fries again) and shared that, as well. That gravy is SO GOOD. We were a little surprised that this entree was only one biscuit (instead of 2, like we're used to), and it didn't have as much gravy as the breakfast from the day before. But it was still super delicious. We could've asked for more gravy, but we didn't, and that's on us. Hopefully we go to the beach again next year.
