All the guys here are great when they cut my boys hair ages 9 and 15. Friendly, clean, professional atmosphere. They pay great attention to detail to their needs and lining them up. You can definitely tell they take pride in their craft to make sure their hair is on point before walking out the door. If you are under time constraints you can call ahead and book an appointment. I get the feeling these Arab barbers, whom portray a cordial and hospitable demeanor upfront, speak ill of their customers in their native tongue while they pander to your hair requests. But that's just a hunch. What's important: They greet you as you walk in, shake your hand, and strike up small talk. That's good enough for me. Some effort to make you feel welcome is all I require. What's really important: They are good at cutting hair. I have to mention this. I witnessed a barber shop first. This gringo dude was getting his haircut, and his girlfriend stormed in the place (she must have been waiting in the car) and started bitching out the barbers, insisting that they speed up the process because they had somewhere to be. "ARE YOU ALMOST FINISHED? MAKE HIM FINISHED PLEASE, WE HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE!" She exclaimed. The funniest part is the guy and the barber were both laughing about it after she abruptly exited. She was PISSED. I bet she's awesome in the sack. Just sayin'. Back to the business. Why only three stars? Well the place is kind of a dump. The tiny three-four store strip mall is a pain to get into. And on weekends, they need more than three barbers. I waited about an hour and was a good hour and a half by the time I left this joint. Albeit the styles of cuts they master are very labor intensive and cannot be rushed. But they are awful chatty at times. My suggestion is if you have somewhere important to be in about an hour, give yourself at least a good two hours extra before coming here. However despite the long drive from home, I see myself coming back for a fade in the future. $12 for a cut is pretty reasonable. read more

I am 27yrs old and I've had plenty of barbers in my time. Fresh Fades has been my last and only stop for over 6 years. My barber Ahmad is one skillful barber. I usually change barbers because they tend to slack off and lose my business. Not these guys! Ahmad always cuts my hair how I like it and the prices don't change. I feel very comfortable and the hospitality is great here. They have a 60" Tv here to keep the customers entertained with free wifi and coffee and vending machines. This place is very clean and professional and they always greet you when you walk in and make you feel like family. I came here after reading all the positive yelp reviews and it was a good experience. I got there without an appointment and only had to wait about 15 minutes. (on a Saturday) when I pulled up the front of the store had a couple of dudes smoking and chatting casually. Then I went in and was kindly greater by a guy and said that I'd be next and to just chill and watch the game. (Soccer game was on). I saw that a cut was like $15 and a beard trim was $13. I got both and got lined up pretty good. I don't usually get all lined up so I was shocked at first but got a bunch of compliments so I'm down with it now. It was a total of $25 for the cut and the trim and the experience was good. Not too much talking during the cut. Which is how I like them. I'm a whore when it comes to getting haircuts and I hop around shops without any loyalty but I think I'll be coming back here when I need a fresh cut, line up and trim. read more

I used to go here all the time when I was growing up. This was my first real barber shop and I loved it. I finally felt like I was in good hands. You can really tell the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one even if you've been doing the same thing for years and years. These men know they're good at what they do and know there is little to no competition in the immediate area. However, that doesn't justify multiple price increases. Especially when your customer service sucks. What im talking about is the long wait for a hair cut only to be skipped by someone walking in after me that just so happens to be close friends with one of the barbers. There's no excuse for that and I don't care how good a person is at what they do, if you don't give your customers the most basic level of respect then you might as well be working in some crappy salon chain. read more

First I'd like to say I'm very picky when it comes to my hair. couldn't find better barbers than these guys at fresh fades. I've been coming here for 10 years and every time I get a haircut I always get compliments. people ask where did you get that clean cut, most barbers are hit or miss sometimes they'll give you a decent cut sometimes they won't, not with my barber Ahmed same perfect fade every time just the way you want it no one does it better!!! read more

Bad stuff. I walked in and waited for about 45 minutes. People walked after me and were taken care of. One of the staff went to get food, he came and ate inside while I was still waiting, I asked when my turn is and they told me to wait a little more. So I'm out of work. Why not live it up a little until I strap on another ball and chain. I came in for a hair cut and left with my eyebrows plucked and a fresh shave. I can't tell you how friendly these guys are. Mike is my guy and he treats me like a King. This place is all about service. (They should open a restaurant.) After I got my head lowered. He cleaned me up with a new razor. I have never seen a barber shop use a new blade for each customer. He even used a different one when he gave me a shave. The eyebrows were a different story. He used the string. I didn't know how hairy I was? I didn't give him much to work with. But when I left there I looked pretty damn good. read more

Ok I don't care that i cannot fully understand. These guys give a great haircut. When they buzz your head they go over a few times to fade it in good, then scissor clip the top. Out with a new razor and shave around ears and neck to even it all out. Then he looked at my eyes and grab some string and started threading my eyebrows. WTF that shit hurts. Walked in on a Friday night. Was instantly greeted by all the staff, whom were all busy with clients. Waited for 5 minutes and got Don, who sat me down and asked what I was looking for. He killed it. He doesn't say much, but he does a damn good job! Price was beyond reasonable for a straight razor head and face shave, beard trim, dye, and fade. I was not expecting the place to be cash only, but who cares? The work here is worth it! Will be back for my next cut! read more

I've been a customer here since this place has opened 10 years ago. Ahmed is my preference for barber but the others are just as good! The best part about this place is they pay attention to detail. They have all types of services other than just a haircut. They do eyebrow threading, nose wax, shampoos, graphics, etc. You can call for an appointment with Ahmed or if your schedule permits you can just come along as a walk in and they will take you. Very flexible shop and will have you feeling good and confident as you walk out. Not only did the one stylist decide to ignore us, go out side and bs with his buddies, when he came back in, he took his friend (who was not waiting inside) in front of us, but another customer who was waiting as well. Awesome place to get your haircut and other services! The barbers are super friendly and welcoming and even if you have to wait it is well worth it! I asked for a haircut for my 4yr old with scissors and even though it was time consuming that way, our barber was great about it!!! He did a great job on my little one and didn't seem at all upset that we didn't want the "maquina"... He was so focused on getting the perfect cut for my little guy that it was artistic to watch him at work! My hubs will be bringing our little one more often here for his haircut, the barber got it just right!! I saw this at another barber shop so here's an idea, how about a pool table while your customers wait?
