I hired them to clean my house I…read morepurchased and wound up having to call them 3 times after the "cleaning" because the job wasn't done properly. After paying them over $400 I had to spend an additional $200 to have my house actually cleaned. I spoke to them to try and get my money back. Understandably I was upset about spending money for no reason. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. After 4 months, they finally responded, asked me the same question 4 times, and then offered to settle with me for $42... a hours worth of cleaning. By this point, I had had it, and I knew they weren't going to understand why I was upset and just accepted the payment. Last week, I got a phone call from Danielle at Ronnie Reliables. Her boss asked her to call me and remove my review of the company from Google!! Against my better judgement, I did it. I spoke to my mother, my attorney, and my husband about this to find out if I had done anything wrong. The point of these rating systems is so that customers can share their experiences and by telling the truth of what happened, I did nothing wrong. So, I decided that I was going to put my review back and and mention what happened with my Google review. I'm sorry if my review is giving you any sort of bad press, but maybe you should have done the job correctly.

I am so glad I did. After installing the first set, there was not water come out of my shower head. After several attempts to get the water running and a call to the plumbing supply store where I purchased the cartridges from (the guy there help to troubleshoot but it didn't work), I called Mr. Plumber. I am so very happy I did. Joe heard my story, suggested a few steps to me, gave me his cell phone number all because had faith I can get the job done (I appreciated that ) and I did. A month ago, I dialed National and got a free estimate. The person's name Artie showed up late. He will give you a good price and that seems to be catch. Schedule to install Sprinkler system was agreed on one of Thursday. No one showed up the whole day. After three try Artie texted me that it was mix-up and he can do installation on April 30th. We agreed. Yesterday 4/29, I had neither text nor phone call for confirmation. I texted Artie and no response. I left VM and no answer. After that he started disconnecting my phone. I had no choice, so I called the main number. At office one lady tried to help me by checking schedule and told me we are not on their schedule for 4/30. I explained that I need to take Day-off for this and he should have at least a curtsy to call me. She promises me that Artie will call you. Instead of calling I got text, and he said I am running late in scheduled installation, and I will not be able to do your job. He even told me that he would be fine if I found another company to do a job. Really, After one month of loss. Please take in writing if they will honor the installation date.

On the day of the inspection, Rich showed up on time, and was very thorough and informative. Plus he offered helpful advice regarding other ways of sufficiently heating our home. i don't normally write reviews, and apologies for the length of this one, but I have to give a huge…read moreshout out to Rich and Chimney Plus. I have a gas fireplace that would not stay lit. I tried a couple fireplace repair services who replaced every component of the fireplace and concluded that the problem was in exhaust pipe and starving the flame of oxygen. I was told I need to find a chimney guy who would likely have to rip it out and replace it. This would be an extremely messy and costly job. I got Rich's name from recommendations I found on Facebook. After speaking with him a couple times about my situation, he told me he doesn't deal with that type of installation. I told him I was stuck because nobody has been able to figure it out. He offered to take a look and made it absolutely clear that he also may not be able to find a solution. I was impressed by his need to set expectations and told him to come and give it a shot. Rich came the next day and in less than 5 minutes he told me "It's not the pipe, it's something electronic. The fireplace is shutting down, not suffocating." He then went up on the roof to confirm that the fireplace was exhausting as it should. He didn't know what the issue was though, and honestly, he could have left at that point. Afterall, I hired him to check the exhaust pipe, which he did. He began to question me about how the fireplace works and what parts were replaced. Then he asked, "do you control the fireplace from that remote?". I said yes and he asked "have you tried another remote?" The remote is the only part that had not been replaced and nobody ever thought of it being the possible cause. We played around with some settings on the remote and suddenly the fireplace was staying lit. Again, Rich could have left at that point. Instead, he stayed about two hours and read through the entire installation manual to see if there could be anything else causing the issue. He suggested I try a few things (furniture was in the way so we couldn't do it right then). He then left but returned a few minutes later to check the gas lines to be sure they were sufficient to support all of the gas appliances in the house. He was determined to check everything! Rich then left, but called me multiple times that day with additional ideas as he continued to research my fireplace online. A couple days later he left printed copies of the documents he found online in my mailbox. All of this was done as part of the initial call! The fireplace is still working. I think his initial instinct about the remote causing the issue was correct. A couple times that the fireplace went out since then, I played around with the remote and it re-lit and stayed list. I'm going to order a new remote which I'm confident will solve the problem completely. Rich is a rare find. He's a nice guy who cares. He went above and beyond and saved me a lot of headaches and a lot of money. I can't recommend Rich and Chimney Plus highly enough.
