    Nov 2020: Many masks @ $5 each
    Kaitlyn S.

Five stars for the dedicated vendors who show up once or twice monthly to sell their wares! This open air market is held the 1st & 3rd Saturday from 10 AM till 2 PM-- twelve months per year. (Now that the Sunday South Tampa market is no more, traffic here may pick up.) Have yet to encounter even one unfriendly seller. Most vendors take cash, credit, & debit. Some take EBT. You may bring your own reusable bags, although the vendors usually have plastic handled bags available. Here you'll find jams; produce (one vendor is always on site); fish dips; cheeses; & prepared hot foods such as Thai & polish sausages. There's also Maine lobster bisque & sliders; refrigerated meats; frozen crawfish pies; farm fresh eggs; soy candles; Irish fudge; biscotti; green teas & herbal juices; handmade jewelry & cutting boards; organic dog treats; CDB products; limited crafts; & a host of other offerings. There's often a stage featuring live entertainment (usually an acoustic guitarist or two). On most market days, there are approximately 50 vendors under tents. On rainy and colder days, there may be fewer. The website boasts of 80 to 100 vendors, but I've yet to count over 70 on any visit over the last three years. (The market opened in 2010.) The street is closed to traffic. There is plenty of parking on the side streets. If you have a disabled parking permit, parking is free throughout Wiregrass. The market street sign reads, "Face masks are required"; however, the policy is not enforced, & thankfully no one is confrontational. Most patrons are masked. ALL VENDORS ARE MASKED. While you're in the area, check out the Wiregrass stores that are open Saturday morning. Two large chains are Macy's & Barnes & Nobel. There are many speciality stores in Wiregrass, along w/ restaurants like Chuck Lagers, Nobel Crust, & Pinchers.

Every 1st and 3rd Saturday - February through October.

November through January is only held the 1st Saturday of the month.

This Fresh Market is part of the Tampa Bay Markets around the Tampa Bay area. It's held every 1st and 3rd Saturday, except in November through January when it is only the 1st Saturday of the month. This is a great market with all types of food vendors, produce vendors, craft vendors, and pet vendors. They also have some plants such as orchids, and other tropical flowers for your home. My favorite vendors are Maine-iacs, the orchid vendor, as well as the hand made jewelry vendors. There is so much for everyone. It is also a great place to walk with your dog, and spend some time outside with your family. If you do get hot, check out the wiregrass mall stores. It's a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Fresh Market runs from 10-2PM, and parking can best be found in the parking garage, or on the outskirts on the mall area. Usually the center parking in the mall is closed.

Great market with the exception that there were not any fresh fruit/egg/veggie vendors. Lots of ethnic food, plants and crafts.

It's a small outdoor market held Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Dunedin. Since I arrived right at opening, it was pretty quiet, which made it nice to walk around and browse the vendors. The market itself is on the smaller side, but it has a really charming feel and fits perfectly with Dunedin's quaint, walkable small-town vibe. The community atmosphere felt very friendly, and there were a variety of vendors selling food, local goods, and other items. I only had time for a quick visit this time but still ended up picking up a few things. Next time I plan to stay longer, try some of the food vendors, and explore more of the booths. I'll definitely be back and will update my review after a longer visit.

This is evident by the huge Highland Games and Festival held in nearby Highlander Park every April which hosts hundreds of guests. There are so many restaurants, breweries, gift shops, art galleries and museums that you will definitely find something that interests you. It's a fun place to visit during the day and at night. I highly suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes. It's a close walk to the marina and St Joseph's Sound as well and It's gorgeous views. Some of the more popular gift shops are Tipsy Mermaids, Our House and Spoiled Rotten. Among some of the best restaurants are Crown&Bull, Seariders Restaurant and my personal favorite since I got married there, Bon Appetit which is located right on the water with beautiful views. If you're looking for some delicious desserts look no further than Kookie Krums, Strachan's Ice Cream and desserts or Ice&Cream Creamery. If you are a Beatles fan you will find the Penny Lane Beatles Museum here. Downtown Dunedin is also the home to many arts and crafts festivals held throughout the year. Parking can be found in the Monroe Street parking garage. There are also many nice hotels nearby in case you're interested in spending some time there. Beaches are super close and easy accessible.

Every Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, this community market hosts between 20 - 60 vendors. (However, I've never seen more than 20 during my four visits.) Today there were exactly 20. What's especially nice about this open market is the quality of its vendors. I've yet to meet one who was not very friendly. Don't expect to see lots of masks being wore in this open air market. It's Pasco County & many I've seen at this market are maskless. If you are super worried about Covid, you may want to skip this market. Vegan, organic, keto, & Gluten-free items are available every Saturday. Jewelry, art, facemasks, produce, meat, cheese, crafts, honey, cooked foods, & many other wares can be found here. Each vendor I've met accepts cash, credit, & debit cards. And many will happily accept special orders on foods, jewelry, fabric items, woods, etc. I have some favorite vendors here, & I've noticed that it's often possible to negotiate a better price. Can't hurt to ask! BL's WOODSHED offers quality & lower-priced hardwood cutting boards (see pic), cheeseboards (see pic), & Lazy Susans. At this time, Bob's selling his beautiful fused glass Christmas dishes! Artistic & friendly Kartika of **ArtsTICQally Made** showcases her handmade cloth baby needs, face paintings, greeting cards, sketches, & caricatures. (See the pic of my friend-- just $14!) She works her magic quickly:) Nicole & Ryan Dube of DUBE'S MOBILE MARKET bring their organic, local produce, eggs, honey, dressings, & meats every Saturday-- see pics. (You can even order full animals: beef, duck, rabbit, lamb, goat, hog, gator, & quail.) They take orders & even offer local delivery for just $5. (Within a few weeks, they will relocate to the Evolove Event Center in Lutz, but hope to continue @ this Saturday market.) And Sheri of SHERI'S BEADS AND BAUBLES offers "handcrafted necklaces, bracelets, earrings, & other semi precious beaded items." Her creations are of excellent quality, her prices are fair, & she will gladly take orders-- See pic. (I'm placing a special order tonight.) This is obviously not a large market, but I've been very satisfied w/ the friendly & talented vendors here on Saturday. Prices are generally BETTER than @ all the markets I've frequented in Florida. The only reason it's not a 5-star market (for me) is because the weekly vendor count is limited.

The fresh lemonades were a great addition as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Detwiler's cookies were another highlight of the visit. The building it self is pretty large and wasn't expecting to walk in to a store with so much to see and samples in every corner you turn plus a bakery with danish and croissants sold in singles or packs, everything in the bakery looked delicious! There is a lot of product here you probably won't find in other areas of Florida but you can also find a lot of the same stuff at Publix. When I came to this store on a Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of people shopping here. They lay out is the same as most stores but what is unique is the bakery is to the left when you walk in and the bakery offers a lot of pastries like danish and croissants in their case for single purchases and also already packed. I had never visit this specific chain store and after doing some research I out these stores are only in Manatee and Sarasota county's. Very unique store with some different varieties but also keep and eye on some items , I wouldn't buy cleaning products here or body care items as those can be found for a better price at Publix and often BOGO but some other items like candy's in packaging toward the produce área was interesting they also offer a wide variety of cut fruit. Beware if you don't like seafood the smell starts to sneak on you as soon as you get to the produce área and it's pretty strong. Costumer service here doesn't come close to like at Publix but overall a store to look at if you are near one in any of the the two county's they are in. Four stars, why? because of the strong odor of fish and I felt like the store didnt have enough space for costumers to get around ,to many displays of products in the middle off the aisle.
