Well.... Culver's. Their burgers are the truth. So delicious. The Deluxe is everything you would want. This location is always busy. That is a good sign for sure. We did not do the drive through. We decided to go inside. The wait is just as long because they are that busy. I never had their Custard before. So I asked for a sample of the Salted Carmel Pecan and it is really good. Very sweet for those who like sweet stuff. But it's really good. I have plans on going back for a fish sandwich. They use Cod. And I love Cod. read more

Always fresh food coming from this Culvers. It's often busy but they get the orders in quickly and the food out in a reasonable amount of time but worth it to wait for the fresh food. Most of the time I get the double butter burger or chicken tenders. Their custard is also fantastic. Inside there's plenty of seating but sometimes can be a little loud. I would give this place 10 starts if I could! For starters I actually live near a Culver's and NEVER thought to come here! Man oh man, I've been missing out! Their burgers and fries are DELICIOUS! Their menu has a wide range of food from, burgers to salads, chili cheese fries to mashed potatoes with gravy and frozen custard even pretzel bites! I couldn't believe my eyes! Culver's has one of the best honey mustards when compared to other fast food chains. The service was quick and friendly; the manager was outside taking drive-thru orders and training her team. Culver's reminds me of Chick-fil-A due to their larger menu. Although I love their chicken sandwich, I'm not a big fan of their crinkle-cut fries. I prefer skinny french fries. Wanted to try the pretzel haus pub burger at Culver's. I believe this has been around before but didn't get to try it. The staff here are so friendly and helpful when ordering. After seated, they bring you your order. The burger was pretty tasty with the bacon and sauce. I really enjoyed the pretzel bun very much making it different than a regular burger. read more

I was waiting in line and a person was just behind the counter not asking anyone for help and when I asked if they are able to help they gave a dirty look. Apparently they didn't want to help anyone. Culver's began in 1984 in Wisconsin. They now have over 700 locations -- mainly in the Midwest U.S. In 2014, they started to open their franchises in Florida and there are now 64 locations -- but they are mainly on the west coast of Florida, the central area, and the North. So far, there are none in Dade or Broward counties. The closest to us are in Jupiter and Lake Park, Florida in Palm Beach County. A number of years ago while traveling on business in the Midwest, my husband came back and told me about the wonderful (egg) custard ice creams and butter burgers he'd had at Culver's. When he would travel there, he'd look for a location. I finally got to try their vanilla custard ice cream a few years back in Cape Coral and although I liked the taste, it didn't sit well with me. This weekend while visiting with family in the Tampa area, we discovered a newly opened location near their home. It's become a tradition for the kids to stop there to and from baseball practice or on the way back from errands or a dinner out. They follow the "flavor of the day", as well. Friday night my daughter-in-law got something and one of the kids got the lemon crumble which was the flavor of the day. It looked so good. Saturday night coming back from dinner, the whole family was in the car, and everyone got something -- from concretes to a plain vanilla to the flavor of the day with caramel on it. One of the boys was getting a scoop of chocolate with chocolate syrup so I decided to try it again and ordered that too. It was rich and delicious and didn't upset my sometime lactose intolerance. Yes! Now when in the area, I know we will be coming here more often with them. And I can join in the fun. And I'm sure we will be making a stop in Lake Park or Jupiter for some of their custard ice cream (and for me to try their butter burgers, too), when passing by -- now that my husband knows these location exist closer to home. read more

Name association can be a weird thing. I didn't know this fast food restaurant chain began in Wisconsin. If you grew up in SoCal, Culver would mean Culver City, Culver High, the film industry (much more so now), Cuban food, and then some. Then, there's the Wesley Chapel thing. Is that ever Southern! There is a street named Wesley Chapel Rd. in Atlanta's suburbs, along with many road names which refer to chapels, ferries, and bridges ... and there's a Wesley Chapel in another Southern state. However, I once did go into a Culver's with a friend hailing from Arizona who swears by Culver's and I had some their custard, which they're famous for. It was very good. It seems desserts are among their forte.' So, in this north Tampa Bay suburb off I-75, there was a brand spanking new Culver's, with its funky baby blue exterior and blue awnings, and I decided to go in and have some lunch. Their menu is huge. I kept looking at burgers and didn't want to get the wrong one. That said, I gave up and ordered fish and chips. The fish and chips came with cole slaw and it was all was fine. It's just that you can't do much with breaded fish and chips. In rare instances, I have seen some massive pieces of cod (that's a good thing) under the breading, but a fast food operation doesn't lend itself to this. When I added a soft drink and tipped, the price got a little high for the genre of eatery. With all that said, it pains me slightly to write this review and give Culver's in Wesley Chapel, FL 3 stars. That's because the service was exceptional in how concerned they are with accuracy and in how polite the young people working here are. Not only that, the interior is very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. I'm going to go with a rating of 3 based solely on this experience because the food and the price-quality rapport is always the main event. However, note that because of the service and the physical plant, they are a very strong 3. Not only that, the young lady at the counter either thought I was funny or was just humoring me when I quipped as to whether I might run into Wesley Snipes, who is actually a Floridian, at this new Wesley Chapel store. (I think she was just humoring me.) Should I try their burgers - and their custard again - it would probably be a 4 star situation. read more

Culver's is hands down the best place to get frozen custard. I was so stoked when I found out that they were building this location so close to my house. It's pretty dangerous living so close to one. Every time I drive by the flavor of the day sign is screaming at me to come in. I anxiously wait for Devils food cake to be the flavor. Every Culver's has a different flavor of the day. So if you don't like a particular flavor of the day, another Culver's in the area just might have something better. To break it down, everyday Culver's offers vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the day. You have the choice to add toppings to the top and make it a sundae or have the toppings mixed in which is a concrete. The one scoop chocolate frozen is my go to. It's soooooo deliciously velvety smooth!! Culver's would get 5 stars if the food was as good as the frozen custard. I have given the food several chances but every time I come to the same conclusion: only come here for dessert. read more

I only use the drive-thru when I'm here but the service is always GREAT! I'm always greeted with a smile by every person working at the window. The food is always fresh and delicious. My 4-year old no longer asks to go to McDonald's. This is one of his favorite burger spots. My 1-year love their fries and tenders. Another successful trip to Culvers.. I stopped here with my family for some lunch and as usual the line moved quickly and our orders were brought to our table faster than we expected. The food was fresh and there were no mistakes. The employees were friendly as always and came to check on all the patrons regularly. We had the WORST service today at this location. We stopped by for their 2 for 1 Concrete Mixer special. Ordered thru the drive up. The girl charged us for both of the mixers, plus did not give us the free cup of vanilla with our past receipt. She did not give us the 20% off from the survey, either. She gave me a mixer I didn't order. It was swimming in chocolates syrup, which I can't stand. When we paid there was no receipt given, or napkins. So, I couldn't exactly go on their site to complain. I had to physically go inside & wait for someone to explain our situation to. We did get a refund for 1 mixer but all in all it was a total disaster. We've had good experiences before but this really was so wrong in so many ways. I spoke with a Team Leader but I doubt it made much difference. read more

We drove from Lakeland it was a nice little drive. It was clean and the staff were ready and eager to take our order. When our food arrived at our table I could smell the burger smelled so good.
