I would have truly given it 4 stars if it wasn't for our server's action. Food was great, prices are reasonable. 4 star review worthy review... *sigh*. The server was attentive. My husband and I (party of 2) were gladly going to tip her 20%, as we do for any eating out occasions. Once it was time to pay, all she asked was for a signature, she had already given herself a 20% tip. We of course didn't change or edit the percentage, as previously mentioned, it's what we tip anyways. But it was the action behind it. Again, all she asked was for a signature the 20% tip was already selected. We left with a bad impression for the first time.

Florida Avenue Brewing Co. is one of the best breweries in the Tampa Bay area. There is an indoor bar with plenty of seating and a walk up outdoor bar with a large grass area. The brewery was very busy on this Saturday at 4 pm. The outdoor area had a lot of young children running around, so beware that it is family friendly. This is good if you have young children but it can be a turn off for some guests. If you don't want to be around children then there is plenty of table seating by the hostess as well as a large bar. The beers are above average. If you're a brewery fan then this is a great one to try. They have a good variety. The sours and IPA's stood out as the best of what they had to offer. The food is great. I tried the French onion soup and Florida Avenue burger. If there is a French onion soup on a menu, I am trying it. This is a good one, not the best but solid. The burger was outstanding. The bun, the bacon, the beef; it's perfect. Florida Avenue Brewing in Wesley Chapel is a popular spot for good reason. As a brewery they hit the big 3; great beer, great food, great atmosphere.

Recently, stopped by Florida Avenue Brewing Company for a quick bite after getting my nails done. I sat by the bar and ordered a burger, it was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The only downside was the bacon, which was a bit too thick and chewy for my taste, so I ended up taking some of it off. I originally wanted sweet potato fries but the bartender recommended the sweet potato bravas instead. Apparently this a new menu item, and unique alternative to sweet potato fries. They were enjoyable with the crispy skin added a nice crunch! They were best when they first came out (they got a bit soggy later), but the sweet potatoes themselves were still very good. Definitely family-oriented, with lots of kids and teens. There's an arcade in the back and an outdoor area where kids can play, which creates a very lively environment. And if you enjoy beer, this is definitely a great place to visit. You can see the brewing area, which is really cool and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how everything is made. Fun spot with good food, lots of energy, and a little something for everyone!

Came here for dinner on a Friday and was very impressed. I am not a beer drinker, so I cannot speak on that. My friend however ordered a beer and the other two friends ordered a flight each. They raved about the variety of options and what they ordered. Plenty of parking in the lot. The place is huge despite the inside only have maybe 8 tables. Plenty of seating and areas outside in the beer garden. We only sat inside because the wait was shorter and we had a time restraint. I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls an a side of fries for my meal. I don't do spicy and was a little worried about the cherry peppers, since I've also never had them. It ended up being not spicy. Very delicious! Would definitely come back and recommend!

Still a big fan of FAB - however it seems they've changed their menus and are now offering brunch.. to be honest their brunch menu is a bit lackluster. I wish they'd give you the option to either order from the brunch menu or the main menu. Shoutout to our Server Phil who was amazing & attentive!!

First timer here. Kelly was an amazing server! She was very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly! The good and drinks were impeccable! I really enjoyed the blueberry lemon drop the best! I also enjoyed the cheese steak egg rolls! There's an indoor and outdoor, as well as an option to take a brewery tour. I enjoyed sitting outside. Plenty of fans and shade, and a place for children to run and play. There's several different events on different days of the week, as well as a happy hour. Ill definitely have to make another trip! I encourage anyone else to try them out as well!

Florida Avenue Brewing in Wesley Chapel is everything I never knew I needed in a brewery--and more! First off, the space is massive. This is easily the biggest brewery I've visited so far, featuring a welcoming lobby, a huge walk-in beer cooler, a spacious dining area (with an arcade!), and a gorgeous outdoor beer garden. And yes--there's plenty of parking with its own dedicated lot, which is always a plus. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They offered great suggestions on both beer and food, which really helped us narrow down what to try from the extensive menu and tap list. Now onto the food--and wow. We started with the General Tso Cauliflower (buttermilk-marinated, fried, and tossed in spicy aioli and General Tso sauce). It was so good it disappeared before I could even snap a picture. For our entrées, we both ordered the Bulgogi Bowl--a beautiful mix of jasmine rice, marinated beef, pickled veggies, hoisin, spicy aioli, and a jammy soy egg. Their menu offers a wide variety, from Asian-inspired bowls to tacos, burgers, flatbreads, and vegan options. Naturally, I had to try a beer flight, and each one was a hit: Konga Krush: Like POG juice in beer form--tart, tropical, and refreshing. Star Spangled Slammer: Sweet cherry, lemon, and blue raspberry--like a rocket pop turned sour beer. Key Lime Rhyme: Key lime pie in a glass, complete with graham cracker crust notes. On Random: A smooth, malty brew with flavors of caramel, chocolate, coffee, and licorice. We ended our visit with a brewery tour ($12), which included a beer and a souvenir glass. It was fun, informative, and offered great insight into both the brewery's history and the Tampa Bay beer scene. Between the atmosphere, food, beer, and friendly service, Florida Avenue Brewing knocked it out of the park. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This was my first visit to Florida Avenue Brewing. It has been on my list of places to visit and I can finally check it off! The place is extremely clean and spacious. The weather was less than stellar, so we didnt get to sit outside like we wanted to. The cauliflower was amazing and the beers were good too! I would have given this 5 stars if it wasnt for the service. It wasn't busy, but our waitress Hannah avoided us. She would be helping the table right next to us and not stop by to see if we needed anything. We got tired of being ignored and just ordered from the bar.

Great place! We enjoyed that the atmosphere and the food. The cauliflower General TSO was amazing! The portions were a good size. Make sure to add yourself to the waiting list prior to go into the restaurant. My only complaint would be that the wine was a little expensive for the actual ounces of wine that you get.

Came here on a whim and enjoyed it thoroughly. The taproom has a great selection of beers and a top quality kitchen. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was super good. Beer quality is absolutely stellar. I've always been a fan of their beers in the store and enjoyed coming to their brewing facility. Service was good. Definitely would come back!

As always, a wonderful experience and time. We sat at the bar tonight and it was a quiet Thursday evening. Lovely appetizer and a flight for each of us. That's definitely all we needed! Thank you to amazing bartenders and staff. We love coming here!!

We were excited to learn about the history of Ybor City as well as its blended culture and the amazing food. We were not disappointed. Kristie's knowledge of the city and its history is unsurpassed. This could have been a historical tour instead of a foodie tour. It is that in depth. Now the food. I hope you brought your appetite. We started at Café Quiquiriqui with the local staple - the Cuban sandwich. The pressed Cuban bread was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The layers of mustard, pickles, cheese, pulled pork, ham and salami were perfect. Then we moved to The Bricks for The Rooster - a rice bowl with shredded chicken, tomato, pickled red onion, roasted red pepper and mixed greens served over rice with a cilantro lime aioli. Delicious! Fresh and crisp with flavors that pop! We then started a big portion of the history tour. We visited José Martí Park (Isla de Cuba) - a park that is actually Cuban soil inside of the United States. Amazing history at this location. From there, we moved to the cigar factory district and visited the museum quality displays inside the lobby of the Scientology building. We made our way to the Ybor City Visitors Center where we watched a brief video on the history the city and picked up a few souvenirs. We then headed past the historic casitas near Centennial Park and the Italian Club. Next was the German influence food stop - Barrio Tacos. What? A taco restaurant? We had a full sized taco called "Das Taco". It is a combo of shredded chicken, chorizo sausage, fried onion crisps, a homemade cabbage/brussels sprout slaw with a delectable horseradish sauce. German influence all over this dish. This taste treat is only available on this tour. You can't order it off their menu. Plus, we had fresh corn chips and their terrific salsa. We finished our tour at Nicahabana Cigars for a cup of Café Con Leche in some of the most comfortable chairs in Tampa and a sweet treat from New York New York Pizza - fresh zeppoles with powdered sugar. All throughout the tour, we got snippets of the local history and local folklore. We laughed and took tons of photos. This was seriously one of the best food/history tours we have ever been on. Bring your walking shoes, stay hydrated and have a blast. There may be other tours in Ybor City but don't waste your time on those. Pick The Original Ybor City Food Tour. You won't be sorry!
