I came here to look for a spot where I can sit outside have a nice drink feel the sun of my skin and have some good food. I got everything except for sitting outside, but that's just because I was too stuck on watching the game, lol. But I am so glad that I sat at the bar because the bartenders were very nice and knowledgeable. They let me know items that were their favorite and I definitely will continue to trust their opinions because the food was so good! I had cheese curds, and those are probably the best cheese curlers I've had! The wings were also good too, but in my opinion, they were fraud a little bit too hard. I had the blueberry beer and that was really good too, and not overly sweet or dry mm and I had a sangria which hit the spot. Second time visiting this cool brewery which has a couple locations in the area. This was in Wesley Chapel and went with my in-laws who live in the area and family. This would totally be my hang out if I lived nearby. There is a large bar and also dining area inside and huge outdoor area and even private party area. While this is a brewery, there are plenty of drink options for anyone (full bar and soft drinks). Our server spent plenty of time with us helping decide on drink and food choices. Happy to do Beer Flights and include label so you can remember what you are drinking and pick your favorites! Food menu also has something for all and we did take leftovers! They have a schedule of events like trivia and comedy on various nights. There is merch available and even canned beer to go! We visited Florida Avenue Brewing Co. in Wesley Chapel around 7:00 PM on a Wednesday for their Happy Hour, which runs from 3:00 PM until close, and I highly recommend it. The brewery was very clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. The new cherry sangria was absolutely incredible and by far one of the best drinks I have had. It was refreshing, flavorful, and a must try. I also ordered the espresso martini, which was very good. Just be aware that it is not included in Happy Hour. The bartender was fast, attentive, and genuinely kind. Everyone on the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. My husband and I (party of 2) were gladly going to tip her 20%, as we do for any eating out occasions. Florida Avenue Brewing Co. is one of the best breweries in the Tampa Bay area. There is an indoor bar with plenty of seating and a walk up outdoor bar with a large grass area. The brewery was very busy on this Saturday at 4 pm. The outdoor area had a lot of young children running around, so beware that it is family friendly. This is good if you have young children but it can be a turn off for some guests. If you don't want to be around children then there is plenty of table seating by the hostess as well as a large bar. The beers are above average. If you're a brewery fan then this is a great one to try. They have a good variety. The sours and IPA's stood out as the best of what they had to offer. The food is great. I tried the French onion soup and Florida Avenue burger. If there is a French onion soup on a menu, I am trying it. This is a good one, not the best but solid. The burger was outstanding. The bun, the bacon, the beef; it's perfect. Florida Avenue Brewing in Wesley Chapel is a popular spot for good reason. Recently, stopped by Florida Avenue Brewing Company for a quick bite after getting my nails done. I sat by the bar and ordered a burger, it was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The only downside was the bacon, which was a bit too thick and chewy for my taste, so I ended up taking some of it off. I originally wanted sweet potato fries but the bartender recommended the sweet potato bravas instead. Apparently this a new menu item, and unique alternative to sweet potato fries. They were enjoyable with the crispy skin added a nice crunch! They were best when they first came out (they got a bit soggy later), but the sweet potatoes themselves were still very good. Definitely family-oriented, with lots of kids and teens. There's an arcade in the back and an outdoor area where kids can play, which creates a very lively environment. And if you enjoy beer, this is definitely a great place to visit. You can see the brewing area, which is really cool and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how everything is made. Came here for dinner on a Friday and was very impressed. I am not a beer drinker, so I cannot speak on that. My friend however ordered a beer and the other two friends ordered a flight each. They raved about the variety of options and what they ordered. Plenty of parking in the lot. The place is huge despite the inside only have maybe 8 tables. Plenty of seating and areas outside in the beer garden. We only sat inside because the wait was shorter and we had a time restraint. I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls an a side of fries for my meal. I don't do spicy and was a little worried about the cherry peppers, since I've also never had them. It ended up being not spicy. Excellent place to stop by if you are in the Wesley Chapel area! I love the fact that this location offers brewery tours on the weekends and has basically all of their beers on tap plus specialty sodas, cocktails, and more. You can either grab a spot at the large bar in the center or be seated at a table to eat. I opted to sit at the bar for this visit and enjoyed my morning affirmations brew, which is basically a latte flavored beer. There is also a large patio in the back that is mostly covered, which is a great choice since it rains so often in FL. I will certainly be back to try out more! read more

First timer here. Kelly was an amazing server! She was very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly! The good and drinks were impeccable! I really enjoyed the blueberry lemon drop the best! I also enjoyed the cheese steak egg rolls! There's an indoor and outdoor, as well as an option to take a brewery tour. I enjoyed sitting outside. Plenty of fans and shade, and a place for children to run and play. There's several different events on different days of the week, as well as a happy hour. Ill definitely have to make another trip! It's a huge sprawling brewery with a nice patio. The service was quick and easy. The beer list contains mainly options and one of their popular ones Dead Parrot was refreshing and light. Florida Avenue Brewing in Wesley Chapel is everything I never knew I needed in a brewery--and more! First off, the space is massive. This is easily the biggest brewery I've visited so far, featuring a welcoming lobby, a huge walk-in beer cooler, a spacious dining area (with an arcade!), and a gorgeous outdoor beer garden. And yes--there's plenty of parking with its own dedicated lot, which is always a plus. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They offered great suggestions on both beer and food, which really helped us narrow down what to try from the extensive menu and tap list. Now onto the food--and wow. We started with the General Tso Cauliflower (buttermilk-marinated, fried, and tossed in spicy aioli and General Tso sauce). It was so good it disappeared before I could even snap a picture. For our entrées, we both ordered the Bulgogi Bowl--a beautiful mix of jasmine rice, marinated beef, pickled veggies, hoisin, spicy aioli, and a jammy soy egg. Their menu offers a wide variety, from Asian-inspired bowls to tacos, burgers, flatbreads, and vegan options. Naturally, I had to try a beer flight, and each one was a hit: Konga Krush: Like POG juice in beer form--tart, tropical, and refreshing. Star Spangled Slammer: Sweet cherry, lemon, and blue raspberry--like a rocket pop turned sour beer. Key Lime Rhyme: Key lime pie in a glass, complete with graham cracker crust notes. On Random: A smooth, malty brew with flavors of caramel, chocolate, coffee, and licorice. We ended our visit with a brewery tour ($12), which included a beer and a souvenir glass. It was fun, informative, and offered great insight into both the brewery's history and the Tampa Bay beer scene. This was my first visit to Florida Avenue Brewing. It has been on my list of places to visit and I can finally check it off! The place is extremely clean and spacious. The weather was less than stellar, so we didnt get to sit outside like we wanted to. The cauliflower was amazing and the beers were good too! I would have given this 5 stars if it wasnt for the service. It wasn't busy, but our waitress Hannah avoided us. So I keep trying Florida Avenue and it keeps being a let down. Been there numerous times over the past 3 years and inevitably, there's always some issue with getting an outdoor table and service. Usually, they are understaffed and can't seat you right away, even when the place is dead. Or they won't give you an outdoor table at all (even when most are available) because they don't have enough servers. The most recent bad experience came on Xmas Eve at like 1pm. The place was DEAD. We couldn't be seated because they were understaffed. The host said a 10 minute wait. 10 minutes passed and he still didn't know when we could be seated. So we took a self-order table. That's not a bad option, except you have to also walk back into the restaurant and order drinks at the bar. The problem is the bar is also understaffed. So you wait....and wait. And they don't staff the outside bar. I normally would have left immediately, but I had a $20 award for all the previous visits that I wanted to use. But now I'm done. And I would not recommend this place for anyone. read more

Surprisingly this place has a very good menu! I had the French onion soup which was delicious! I also had a salad with salmon. The salad had a little too much oil but the salmon was made well. My husband had a very tasty burger and the bestie had the buffalo chicken wrap which was also super good. What I was very happy with were their fries! We frequent this brewery and it NEVER disappoints! The food is always excellent. They are constantly switching things up with new seasonal brews. The service is always amazing! There's swag for purchase which is rad! We've bought several tshirts over the last couple of years. You can also purchase canned beer to take home. There's regular events like trivia throughout each month. There's a great outdoor seating area. I see a lot of young families bring their kiddos and sit outside to let the kids play. They just don't want ball's thrown in the patio area. But there's an area outside the French to toss a ball around. There's mixed information regarding whether this is pet friendly. We've had someone tell us dogs are welcome outside and one hostess who was adamant that's not the case and never was. She was young and very new at the time. We've been coming to Florida Avenue Brewing Co. for quite some time now. The past few visits have left us a bit disappointed as the menu has changed and either the offerings are no longer available or the ingredients are subbed for something of lesser quality. We used to get the Brewhouse Salad with salmon which was a tasty meal, but that is no longer on the menu. The fish in their Fish & Chips used to be better than the mahi-mahi they now use. We found other things to try. Last night, the three of us arrived and were told about a 25-minute wait. We asked for a menu to look over while we waited. The hostess was either new or a bit of a ditz. She called us, we got up, said it was a mistake, so we sat back down. Then she said she no, she did mean to call us. We get seated and we sat for a while before our server came. She asked our drink order and I guess she couldn't tell by menus parked at the end of the table we were ready to order, we told her before she got away. The three of us ordered the French Onion Dip Sandwich, no horseradish. The menu claims "shaved ribeye." I can assure you, having a family who owned a butcher shop/ deli and having been a server in a restaurant that served French Dip sandwiches, the meat is in NO WAY shaved ribeye. I noticed when a clump of meat, held together by cheese, fell onto the plate, that it appeared to be chopped up smash burgers. My husband did not want me to ask for a manager. I wish I had as bill was nearly $60 for the sandwiches alone. If they are going to think people won't notice, they are mistaken. This is the way to lose customers if the kitchen doesn't warn servers that the meat is not what is advertised and they have to substitute, letting the customer know,or the restaurant doesn't change the menu to reflect what ingredients are truly used. I can't say we will be back. Looking at other reviews, it doesn't seem like their management tries to make things right by responding to less than stellar reviews. I'm not one to leave reviews, but this had to be shared so others are aware. I must say, the green beans with garlic were delicious and nicely cooked. A star for the green beans! read more

It was the first time my son ever tried pinball and he loved it (as a kid who is obsessed with all the newest video games, I was impressed it kept him interested!). Although the beer is awesome- duh... a brewery, the food is the shining star. I would come back every day for the brewhouse salad. It is the most well balanced blend of flavors! As I told our server, I have been seeking a dressing comparable to Bern's macadamia vinaigrette for years and their vanilla bean is SOOO good and definitely compares. Wesley Chapel, FL - After church on a rainy Sunday headed to Florida Avenue Brewing Company. We had sampled one of their brews at our local Publix so decided to try a sampler at the brewery. Upon entering the seating area, the ambiance is definitely more snazzy than your average brewery. Four 5 oz pours were $15. Additionally, we ordered a big pretzel which came with cheese dip and mustard and a nice salad with additional chicken. Everything was tasty and service was solid.
